Description of Work: I contracted with Atlantic Pest Solution, Kennebunkport last Fall for mouse abatement. Living in a very wooded area, we are very prone to mouse infestation. I for one do not like using home remedies and having to find/dispose of dead mice. I called Atlantic Pest Solutions. There is always a receptionist available, and she was very responsive to my needs. An exterminator was scheduled ASAP and the price was set at $175.00 which included the initial examination, set-up of mouse bait and one year's follow-up. The exterminator came on time, was very professional covering his feet with booties so as not to track up my floors. He was polite and professional, and I noticed he had the latest of equipment to include a small computer which enabled him to obtain history and enter data which goes right to the company. He fully examined the house, provided some information and set the baits. He has been back 3 times and this last time he found no mice! The exterminator said he will check back in several more months, and my contract is good for the remainder of the year should I see any evidence of mice. While Atlantic Pest may be a bit pricey, it is worth the extra money to get the job done by professionals who are trained in use of the chemicals, conduct themselves in a professional manner and know their business. I would highly recommend Atlantic Pest Solutions.

+ -1 moreI began noticing a white powdery substance with black flecks on the floor of the 2nd floor of our studio building. It turned out to be caused by ants. The structure is a post and beam building with SIPS panel walls and roof. The white powder was styrofoam crumbs left by tunneling ants that had nested at the peak of the roof. The black flecks were ant parts. Apparently, this is a common problem with this type of construction. Atlantic treated the site of the infestation and then around the entire foundation of the building. The ants began dying and piling up on the floor almost immediately. this continued for about 4 weeks until they were all gone. The estimator and the technician were both very knowledgeable. Things were done on time and the results were as promised. I also like the fact that the treatment was very low impact (no holes drilled) and they used the mildest, eco-friendly products that they could.
Description of Work: Treat building for ant infestation. Interior and exterior.

They are very accommodating, professional, thorough, and pleasant to work with every time they come out to the house (including all the times in between the spring and fall sprayings should I need extra exterminating in between)! I would highly recommend this company!
Description of Work: They came out for a bi-annual spring exterminating/spray of both the inside of my house and outside. They also come back in the fall to repeat this.
