+ -1 moreThe company was incapable to help me. With that, they should give me a refund but instead they keep charging me for an additional $100. The guy didn't even went back to get the traps. Within 6 months, I've been receiving bills from them. I just want to get a refund and stop from billing me additional charges. I am really not happy with them.
Description of Work: The guy put traps around the house but couldn't caught any mouse.

+ -1 moreJohn was excellent in solving our problem and explaining what he needed to do. He spent a good amount of time in the attic and determined we had a racoon which was living there. He placed stink sticks to hopefully chase the critter out. He also set up the entrance so that you could tell if the animal had exited. He came back to check and found that something had indeed left. During the next few days no sounds were heard. The final step was to seal the entrance with heavy duty stainless wire mesh.We can now sleep comfortably at night. Great job Atlantic.

+ -1 moreIt did not go at all. We have used these folks before to treat ants in a building on our property. In the past, they've been very good and we've been completely satisfied. I called today asking for help in our kitchen where we have a lot of tiny ants. The company said that it would be two weeks before they can come out. We are a repeat customer and that's the best they would do. So I said forget it. Maybe I'll try them again in the future, but if they are unresponsive again, that's it. In the meantime, I've got to find someone else.

+ -1 moreCame as promised. Did a thorough job of spreadinfg pesticide. Better weather predictor than Joe Cupo, (and Joe is pretty good) It's hard to tell for sure without excavations to check for grubs, but brown patches seem to be recovering well and the crows and porcupine have stopped ripping up the sod mining for grubs. Mark Franz was very forthcoming with information and advice.
Description of Work: Treated lawn for grubs which wered killing large swathes of our grass.

+ -1 moreChemicals used are effective but my overall experience with the company is disappointing.
Description of Work: I have used this company for at least two seasons for lawn spraying at scheduled intervals. This is an application to control mosquitos and ticks. The summer of 2012 is at least the second year that I contracted for four monthly applications during mosquito season. While this company obviously uses professional grade equipment and chemicals and therefore the treatments are effective, this company has disappointed in two ways: 1. The nature of this business makes it very weather dependent and so, with a rainy spring preventing scheduled applications, the treatments were delayed several times. The initial application was at least a month late. A company such as this can easily study rainfall histories for our area and anticipate median and max number of rainy days. Although they have a fixed number of mobile spraying units, they obviously were not prepared to invest overtime for its crews in order to make up missed applications (insects are vulnerable during evenings and weekends too!) My applications were reschedule several times. 2. They are also very disappointing as far as communication and customer relations. Prior to a scheduled (date of their choosing) application, they sent a brief, canned, perfunctory email notice. When scheduled applications were missed, there didn't seem to be any effort in communicating a "plan B". Emails and phone calls were grudgingly returned it seemed. I appears that once a contract is in place, they prefer to be left alone and to not have to account for results or promises.

+ 0 moreThey were excellent and I used them since 1986. I have used them for everything. They were so good. They know what they were doing and they were well trained. They helped me to get rid of some pest. I am right on the river so I have some field mice and some bats. I would recommend them to anybody that asks about who does the pest controls for us. They helped me with my carpenter ants when I first moved in. They were so good. They seemed to know what they were doing. Anytime I had a problem they never really make me wait very long. When they come in they do they best, they would try everything to help me out. I really like them a lot. They explain things to me and what to do and all kind of things. I am happy. The rice and quality is fine. The price was like everybody else. Even if I have to pay a little more I would keep them if their prices went up. They have been with me for so long and helped me with many different things. I just gave their name out to somebody else. I noticed that when they come into the house they put little booties on like it was raining. It was really nice to have someone that was professional and know what they were doing and if they do not know they would find out for me.
