They were able to work me in after a neighbor's job (they're popular in our development). They took the big tree right out, winched both trees to the chipper, chipped 'em up along with some other limbs and brush, cleaned up, and left. They always clean up the job site well, and are eager to answer questions and address and of my issues or concerns. I recommend them and will use them again.

They did a terrific job on that, and the price was very good. I only had a couple concerns, and they have more to do with clarifying everything on the work order than the quality of the work. First, they couldn't get to us for up to six weeks. They called to do the work after about four week. I could have chosen someone else if it had mattered to me. When they wrote up the estimate I had dragged some limbs to the front of my house, and I had asked that they get rid of those when they did everything else. However, that piece of information didn't get on the work order. When my wife asked about it, the crew chief said that since it wasn't on the order he wouldn't do it. It took a call to one of the bosses, and they came back the next work day to pick it all up. Also, I was supposed to be given credit for an Angies List coupon, and that didn't happen. The boss said it would be taken care of. I need to call them. I am sure it will be taken care of as well. I liked them well enough. I would just pay more attention next time and make sure everything was spelled out. I will call them again if I need tree services. I am rasing the rating, since they made good on everything. Their customer service ended up being strong.

They called a few days before they arrived, and quickly and efficiently took the tree down and ground the stump. They mostly cleaned up, but left a broken fence. I contacted the owner, Chad, who immediately took care of the issue. Overall, a good experience.

Crew arrived as scheduled and worked quickly and professionally to get the job done and clean up when they were done.

They did an excellent job. We were very pleased with the results.

It took a little more time for them to start the job than initially projected (maybe a week longer than expected), however, once they started, they finished quickly. They were quick, reasonable and professional. To have made this an "A" report for me, they'd have come when initially projected and then covered the mulch patch left by the tree with some material to prepare the area for growing grass. Overall, we were pleased with the quality of work and professionalism.

We live on a wooded lot and this is the second time we have used Cutting Edge to remove dangerous trees. They have done excellent work for us at a very fair price. They seem very competent at the core job of cutting trees safely so that no one gets hurt and nothing falls on the house. In addition they were very thorough in their cleanup and Chad the owner talked with me afterward to ensure that I was satisfied.

We used their services because they had a coupon in the paper. They were really thorough with the job that they did. Their clean up was really good. They were really professional. They did an excellent job. They provide good customer service. I would use their services again in the future.

We were so over charged by the other company and Cutting Edge Tree was more professional. They were terrific. They came out on time. The clean up job they did was extra. They did extra clean up because my neighbor is so precise in keeping his property clean. Some of the mud and debris was over on our neighbor’s yard and so they took extra time to clean up the neighbor’s yard as well. This was in the street. This was the debris from the truck like mud and other things that had fallen, so they took the time to clean up the entire area in front of the neighbor’s street because I requested them to do so. They said that they understood perfectly. It was a hot day and they were sweating but they did it. We were very pleased with them and I would absolutely use them again. I would recommend them to anybody. I would use their services again in the future.

They showed up on time, efficiently did their job, and left the area spotless. We couldn't have been more pleased with their service and professionalism. The volume of work due to snow damage in the area had them a little backed up, but even with the heavy workload, the wait from first contact to actual work getting done wasn't too bad.

I got three quotes, one of which was almost double the quote from Cutting edge Tree Experts. Chad's quote was in the same ballpark as one of the quotes and nearly half that of the third quote. Chad showed up quickly for the quote (a Thursday). I gave him the go ahead on Friday, He called me on Sunday and said he could do the job on Monday. When I got home on Monday, the job had been completed and the yard cleaned-up. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Best price, quick service, excellent quality!

Cutting Edge was one of three companies to provide estimates in October 2010 for trimming approximately 8 trees around our property. Chad was knowledgeable and personable, which was the primary reason we selected his company. The cost estimate was very reasonable, and he provided an estimated date for the service. He called when he said he would to finalize the date of service and his team showed up as scheduled. The work was performed well and as expected. Chad came by to review the team's work and had them trim a bit more from one two of the trees. They cleaned up and did not leave any debris. The price did not change from estimate to completion.

Overall all we were very pleased though not at first. A branch apparently cracked and fell on our stockade fence before they could secure it. They left us a note that this had happened and that Chad (the owner we believe) would call us. The next day he called and said he would pair it immediately. He came out to our home on Thanksgiving day to survey the damage and said he'd be back the next day to do the work. On Friday however he could not find the proper pickets for the fence. I told him that Long Fence would sell him the materials. He went and picked up the materials first thing Monday and repaired the fence that day. And did a great job. We were very impressed by Chad's eagerness to fix our fence in a very timely manner. He even said he'd take care of it if we decided to have Long Fence come out and do the repairs. The fence looks great (he even left some extra pickets for us). In today's world, where we often feel that many businesses are out for that one sale, it is refreshing to see a company that takes great pride in their work, and cares about their product. WE WILL ABSOLUTELY call Cutting Edge again for future tree work.

Chris showed up at our house to quote the work, and gave us what I felt was a very competitive price considering the amount of work being proposed. I feel certain I would have paid a lot more with most other contractors, based on my past experience. Chris was friendly and helpful and seemed knowledgeable. It took a few weeks before they actually called me to schedule the work, which was OK in my case because there was no urgency to what was being done. When they called I was given about a week's notice for the proposed date they had in mind, and they agreed to move it to the next day when I told them the proposed date was not good for me. On the day of the work, Chris and a crew of probably six or so guys showed up on time and immediately went to work. They had their own chipper/shredder truck with them. They worked quickly and finished everything in 90 minutes. Chris asked for my feedback about the work they were doing and was ready to make adjustments to the work if needed. I was extremely pleased with everything they did. The trees they had pruned and shaped looked good. There was no damage to my porch which was very close to the arbor vitae that was removed. They removed all the branches and left the work areas clean.

I didnt know when they were coming because I did not receive a phone message, but my neighbor got a call and told me they were coming. They consulted with me about how much trimming I wanted. They were efficient and completed the work as specified. They cleaned up all the debris. I would use them again.

Chris and the crew showed up at 745am and worked until 315pm (7 1/2 hours) and knocked out 21 trees of various sizes, some already down, and cleaned up everything. They came with two large trucks (for catching, hauling chips), and a skid steer and stump grinder on trailers. They had good access to the work area, good weather, and were unencumbered by structures or property. The quote was fast, but instead of taking 2-5 weeks to get to me, it was more like 7-8. They finished every tree that was marked. The day rate worked out well for me and yielded a good price per tree (not counting the easy ones).

During the huge snowfall in the DC / Baltimore area the weekend of 6-7 Feb 2010, we got about 30 inches of snow. On Saturday the 6th, after much of the snow had accumulated, we had a number of trees come down. Most significant was a 40 foot spruce tree next to our driveway that fell across both of our cars. We were able to dig out one of the cars with no damage, but the other car was pinned under the tree. We called our Landscaper who put us in touch with Cutting Edge. Chad (from Cutting Edge) had dozens of calls to handle due to the emergency conditions from the blizzard. Trees were down all over - on top of houses, putting people out of power, etc. He was working non-stop and worked us in within two days even given the other priority tasks. He came while the roads were barely passable and cut the tree off of our car. He wasn't able to remove the trunk and branches because he couldn't get his chipper in because of the snow... but he will be back once the snow melts down (it is still too early). Overall, his responsiveness, professionalism, and work ethic were very impressive. We highly recommend Cutting Edge Tree Experts.

It went wonderful. They gave me an accurate, free estimate. They cleaned up thoroughy. They did a great job cutting down the trees. One was leaning over the neighbors property and they were able to cut down with out damaging the property. Their prices were reasonable.
