Description of Work: I needed a HVAC contractor fast and I checked Angie's List. Frosty Refrigeration was the 1st listed, the reviews looked good as did the ratings. So i called. Spoke with Carly at 9am, and Jim showed up by 11am to fix my AC (added some refrigerant, checked system & coils). He was great and gave me some pointers on how to keep the house cooler and spoke to me about my aging HVAC unit. Overall, a wonderful experience. Thank you Carly, Connor and Jim.

Description of Work: My air handler was leaking refrigerant, so I had a service call from another company and was told that I could either replace the refrigerant or install a new, more efficient system. I chose the latter, and used Angie's List to contact 2 other contractors. BY FAR, Jerry provided the best customer service. He called to say that he was running a few minutes late, and then he spent the time to look and examine my place to get a feel for what type of unit would be the best option. When he left, I had decided that if the price was competitive and the install date met my schedule I would choose Frosty. However, the price for the unit I wanted was $550 more. Part of that was due to the fact that the company that came out for the original service refunded the service call charge. Additionally, it's the summer and I'm getting my deck replaced concurrently with the unit. The company with whom I went had a better schedule to fit me in. Bottom line - if you have a HVAC problem, give Frosty a call for an estimate. They should definitely be one of companies from whom you get a quote.
