They did a phenomenal job! I felt they gave me good and honest information. They let me know that the cost of water heaters was going to go up giving me a heads up on this which I really appreciated. They even replaced a faucet for me. They were very accommodating and the price was acceptable. I would use this provider again in the future if needed.

It went well. I moved into my house 2 years ago and over the winter my pipe burst. When he opened the wall, he found that this pipe had been repaired several times. He decided to change the pipe instead of repairing it. It cost $400, but with the Angie's List coupon for $39 I got $100. Not too bad. I thought it was reasonable. He made suggestions about how to prevent the pipe from bursting. He was very prompt and it didn't take long at all.

The plumber showed up promptly, and quickly determined the services needed for my kitchen sink. Ira was able to perform the work at that time, but I had another appointment and had to leave. I called the office later in the day, and they were able to schedule me for another day within that same week. It was a pretty stubborn clog. I tried clearing it for weeks before I realized I needed to call in a professional. Ira was able to snake and flush the drain successfully, and recommended a product to use intermittently, to possibly help prevent future drain buildups. I liked Ira - he was very pleasant and very personable. He constantly stayed in contact, calling the morning of my appointments, and calling to let me know when he was just minutes away. He was professional and cleaned up the entire area after the work was completed. I have already decided to contact Pipes & Pumps again next month, to take care of some additional plumbing issues around my house. I'm glad I found this provider on Angie's List, and I'm glad they offered a pretty nice discount too.

Fantastic! Mike came out and premeasured my toilets to ensure I purchased the correct size. Thank goodness he did as I assumed all of mine were 12" standard, but 2 of them required 10" toilets. One of my toilets wasn't going to arrive in time for our scheduled installation date and Mike was flexible about allowing me to reschedule for the next day. Mike and Jay came out promptly and wore booties into my home. They worked well together to get the job done quickly and efficiently. As they removed the toilets, they allowed me time to paint the back of the wall before seating the replacement toilet. Since I had 4 toilets to install, they were able to remove the toilets while I painted each subsequent one and the wall was dry by the time they got back to the first one to install. This was really beneficial because the wall is easily seen behind the two 10" toilets. They carefully loaded each toilet into my car so that I could donate them to Restore (Habitat for Humanity). They supplied all the necessary materials such as caulk, new bolts, bolt caps, and wax rings. They cleaned up everything and made sure that each toilet worked. I couldn't be more satisfied with their work. I highly recommend them and would use them again. Mike also informed me about the new energy efficient law regarding hot water heaters and that is something that I am saving up for.

I first called Pipes & Pumps regarding a minor issue with my kitchen sink. I had been thinking about getting a new water heater for a number of years, and decided to talk to them about that option as well. Ira Miller was the technician who came out both times, including to install a new 50 gallon water heater. Ira is fantastic! Incredibly professional, communicative, and I felt safe with him being in my home. I feel like I have finally found my plumber and I have been a home owner for five years. i couldn't recommend Pipes & Pumps more. Excellent service.

Went great. Ira was the consummate professional. Explained everything clearly and concisely. Only did work authorized. Removed all packing material and old toilet. Kept my house clean. Did a free inspection and found legitimate problems I needed to address without fear or a hardsell. Gave me a reasonbly priced estimate and went on his way. I will jeep their card on my fridge for future needs.

In all went well. Ira came out and review several issues and provided a write up on each. I directed him to repair a broken pipe in the crawl space. Complete in good time, excellent work.

I bought a $99 offer for the instalation of a new toilet. Tony came on time, made a house inspection of my plumbing and pointed that the toilet supply was not working properly. It was a 1967 part. He replace the shut off valve and the supply line. Tony was a gentleman the whole process and disposed the old toilet. Amazing service and professionalism.

They did an excellent job! Ira came and spent most of the day working on the various projects in home, was efficient, fast and very pleasant to work with. I will definitely be using them in the future. They really bent over backwards to help us.

I called them to have my kitchen sink repaired, they did a great job on that service. They said the deal included a whole house inspection and they check two of my bathroom. After the technician left my toilets started constantly running and have ever since I am very unhappy with this.

They very professional. Services they provided were highly professional, they were also very knowledgeable . The serviceman that came out, Jim, was honest, upfront, and paid great attention to detail, and couldn’t have been more professional. They were always on time and did whatever it took to get the job done. They always made sure everything was perfect.

The two gentlemen were sharp. Not only did they show up as planned but after telling me they'd be there in the afternoon, they called about an hour ahead to narrow the time and pinpoint when they expected to arrive. Since I'm tired of repairing an old toilet and I recognize the higher cost associated with fixing an aging toilet that uses excess water, it's inefficient and not cost effective, I requested they install two Toto toilets. The comfort height is great and because it uses less water and is so effective at flushing, it'll undoubtedly increase the value of my home. That's something else the guys with the 30 year old toilets won't realize. These guys showed up on time, did quality work and made sound recommendations about two other plumbing issues that I asked them about. They actually made suggestions regarding what I could do to save money and never once insisted that they even do the work. They pointed out that I could easily do it but offered to come by and resolve one problem if I couldn't handle it. They were both friendly, extremely professional, very knowledgeable and knew a lot about what they were doing. They didn't leave a spec of dirt when they left and the quality of their work was impeccable. In fact, the overall experience was so good, I really couldn't imagine using anyone else as I have in the past. Some people are ridiculous in thinking that they're going to get all kinds of work done by purchasing a $69 special. You do get what you paid for. A TUNE UP of a toilet is just that. It's not an overhaul and pointing out incipient plumbing issues in my house is appreciated because it allows me to prioritize what/when I might need the work done rather than waiting till it breaks and then begging for someone decent to show up and do good work. I KNOW who I'll be calling when I'm ready to have more plumbing work done. It'll be Pipes and Pumps. Great job and thanks guys!

It was a very good experience. They were professional and polite. They dudnt mind me asking a bunch of questions.

He called ahead to make sure I was home, showed up when he said, and fixed the pipe in about 20 minutes, cleaning up after the job. He was polite and answered all my questions.

There is truth in the old adage "you get what you pay for". Clearly the intent of this company is to come into your home, do a diagnostic check of your plumbing and then upsell you at ridiculous prices. The technician, Ira, was very nice, professional and seemed to know what he was talking about. I don't know what they consider to be a tune-up but he did nothing to my toilets except put blue dye in the tank to determine if there was a leak. At that point, he told me what he thought I should do and proceeded to price out all the work that needed to be done. Replace the downstairs toilet: $485 including parts, labor and warranty. If the customer supplied the toilet to be installed the price would be $350-375. If my memory serves me correctly, Home Depot doesn't even charge those prices for installation. But I let him continue. From there it got worse. I asked him about switching out two faucets in the master bathroom: one a pedestal sink and the other a regular sink and the quotes were between $350-900. If you are under the impression that you are actually going to receive a service for the $69, forget it. If you want a "high priced " plumber to come in and do an estimate, just call one. Many will do this for free. No need to waste your money. Lessons learned here. If it looks to good to be true, it DEFINITELY is. Buyer Beware!!

I felt that the gentleman was trying to rip me off. He knew that it was an easy fix and did not want to be bothered. He wanted to sell and install a new toilet that I did not need. He would have gotten all A's if he told me what I needed to do to fix it. Instead I called my brother, went to Lowes, purchased a flapper for about $5 and it took less then 5 minutes to install. The toilet no longer leaks. I do not recommend this company.

First of all, Ira was able to show up earlier than expected, which freed up the rest of my day. He was punctual, courteous and very professional. He took his time examining all the toilets and then moved on to inspect every sink, drain, shower and faucet in the house. All the while he explained what he was looking for, what's good, what's bad, what's urgent and what can wait. He was very thorough, making sure to hit every bit of plumbing in the house. Ira gave me a comprehensive list of all the potential repairs that need to be done without the pressure of a sales pitch. He is very knowledgeable and you can tell he cares about his craft. He was very respectful of me and the house. I would recommend Pipes and Pumps Plumbing and will definitely use them in the future.

I signed up for a deal for two toilet inspections and an additional full house plumbing inspection. The contractor arrived on time and called a half hour before arriving to let me know he was on his way. After the toilet inspections I was informed I should replace both water intake valves which was not included in the deal. I agreed with Jim and at an additional cost he replaced both valves, and the stoppers which were included in the deal. After he had finished with the toilets Jim did a complete house plumbing inspection and then he went over all the things he thought needed to be done. There was no pressure to get the extra work done and Jim gave me an approximate cost of the items I thought I might get done in the future. I was giving a copy of the things he had found wrong and told to call if I decided to follow up on any of the items.
