Plumbers were right on schedule, very professional and did a good job.

It was great, they were professional and they had fast costumer focused service.

I do not know but I asked the two workmen and they both said everything checked out fine and they put a number on the backflow valve.

Great! They checked our systems and tighten up any leakage. We passed with flying colors. They were doing such a great job, that someone drove up to my house and asked them for a card, so that they would come to his house. Thanks guys!

They were very professional. They informed me that half of the backflow devices fail but mine passed. They even put a new plastic cap on the backflow at no charge. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to my friends.

They were a little late. I thought the shower stall was leaking at the interior faucet pipes. It turned out to be the adjacent toilet base. They replaced the wax base. And since they were there, I had them look at a basement toiliet that cycled ocassionally. They replaced the internal flow control mechanisms with a better one. Problems solved. But after they left, there was some noise in the upper toilet. Fortunately, it is a dead end street and I caught them as they returned from the dead end. A little minor adjustment to the float, and all was perfect. I would call them again.

The plumbers were on time and answered/fixed my three issues.

I called at about 2:30 and someone was at my door by 3:00. I knew that I needed a service valve because I didn't have one and my supply line was leaking, but the technician also discovered that my p-trap was also leaking and replaced that. He also documented everything for my insurance company. Very pleased with work that was done and would highly recommend this company.

They came as scheduled, and they did the work in a timely fashion.

I felt very cheated by this company. The Kohler seal cost $6.95 at Lowes and it only took 5 minutes to install at a cost of $169.99.

When asked questions about the size of the tank, etc., the installer did not seem to be knowledgeable. He already ordered the tank before I approved it. I questioned him about a different brand in which the company was a licensed provider, and I was told that this was the only type of tank the company used. I was quoted a price of $1094.00 and when the topic of rerouting the plumbing to the new tank was discussed, he said it would cost about $50 more in material. No mention was made of an increase in installation cost. When he arrived the next day, I was told that he was thinking about the re-plumb and that it wouldn't work because I would need an electrician to extend wiring. I said that I could take care of that. When asked questions about the electrical current running into it, he was unknowledgeable and seemed put-out that I was asking these questions. When the work was finally done, I was presented with a bill for $1600+ which I said I couldn't pay. I told him I was quoted a price of $1094 + $50 for extra plumbing material and he replied that that was the total bill. I ended up agreeing to $1500., which is extremely high, and not within in budget. I later found that my storm door latch had been broken off and no one bothered to mention it to me. The work was of good quality, but if anyone ever uses this company, please MAKE SURE TO GET A WRITTEN ESTIMATE prior to the work being done!!! Update 3/17/15 - Genevie Plumbing contacted me and gave me a refund for the difference between the verbal quote and the written bill! Bravo! I salute you!! Thank you for your attention to this matter!

I had two frozen pipes break when they dethawed. This resulted in a flood of three inches of water in my home. Main water to the house had to be shut off. This was on a Saturday Evening. I called numerous plumbers that advertised 24 hour emergency service and none of them called me back. I finally found Genevie on Angies List and called them. They called me back about a hour after I called and left a message and told me I was next on the list. They showed up around 8PM (two hours after my initial call). They were very friendly. They found and fixed two broken pipes inside my wall. They even installed two shut off valves for me in case I have a problem in the future in that part of the house. I thought the price was excellent for coming out on a Saturday night in the middle of a snow storm and fixing two broken pipes. They have definitely found a customer for life!!

I've used their services for over 5 years and they are always prompt, competent, and reasonably priced.

Lots of damage, they came actually early and fixed the pipe and left. It was done very well and we were very satisfied with the way the handled us, being freaked out somewhat. They were very courteous and the price was reasonable. We had done a lot of work so they could find the pipe easily but it was still a very good job. Well, I found these guys after calling Roto-Rooter, who stated they would charge $150 JUST TO COME OUT (no work done, just fuel charge)! Roto-Rooter also quoted me a 4 hour window!! The problem: I just bought a home that was foreclosed on/not lived in for a year. This poses a serious issue for pipes. So my contractor, who completely gutted our basement began to notice water coming from our capped off holes in the floor, that led to our main sewer line. I immediately called for St. Charles County to come out since my contractor stated the issue was for the sewage coming out of the house. The County came out and was unable to assist, due to no clean up pipe previously being installed. They stated they would come back in 10 business days to install one at their expense. This obviously doesn't help me with the issue at hand!! Next solution: Contractor went to Home Depot and rented a 75' drain snake machine. My contractor began snaking the main line. He began pulling out ROOTS! TONS OF THEM!! These roots filled up a 2 gallon bucket!! He could only get so far (approx. 60') before he would get stuck and have to pull back out and keep trying. After approx. 2 hours, the water didn't subside and we knew we had a serious issue. So I knew I needed an expert. Next, and FINAL solution: I scoured through Angies List and came upon Genevie Plumbing. I am glad I did!! I called and asked if they could help me, explained the issue, and they said they could!! I asked for a time frame, and the receptionist stated it would be an hour or so. I was then advised that it would cost $420! I was a little ticked at it costing so much, but not on their end as they seemed to be in the range of others locally, I did find one that was in Waldorf Area for $100 cheaper (an Angies list contractor, but they don't take credit cards). Either way, I was very surprised when approximately 15 minutes later, the crew was at my house. The crew, Wes and Josh were AMAZING!! Not only were they very personable, but knowledgable too!! We explained the issue and Wes immediately freaked me out when he said that my pipe was probably broken!! However, we showed him what we brought up and he got to work. He brought out his machine!! This thing was a workhorse!! Wes and Josh were very considerate of my newly installed wood floor in the basement, and put down cardboard (after they were simply linking from outside, I told them to bring it inside so they didn't have so far to walk). So, after what took us 2 hours, it took Wes and Josh approximately 10 minutes. They pulled out the bigger roots and it was a sight to see the water recede! I was so thrilled!! The guys were amazing to talk to, they were very polite and had us laughing and this calmed my nerves, when all I could think about was dollar signs if the worst case scenario came true. After they removed the roots they stood by while I ran water for another 10 minutes or so to make sure that the water did not back up again! They were absolutely amazing to deal with. There is NO complaint at all! They gave us a magnet and pens and were just amazing. If I ever have any issues that call for any of their services, I would call back again!! The price was no issue when it comes to professionalism and politeness!! You don't find many contractors that are so personable and pleasant to be around!

$75 dollars to come out and QUOTE me to replace bathroom shower valve. Bad very bad.

I was exceptionally pleased with the prompt scheduling and service to replace a faulty water control stem in my shower. The problem occurred late at night, and I was able to stop the water flow only with the master cutoff valve. The next morning I was able to schedule and end-of-day service call, but when a crew became available Valerie called me back and was able to dispatch a crew immediately. Nick and Rob were soon at the door and were quickly able to diagnose the problem. In approximately 15 minutes the failed valve was replaced, and my water was flowing only when and where it should. The room was left clean. I don't think anyone WANTS to be a regular plumbing customer, but when I DO need their help these are my go-to guys!

On time, efficient, courteous and I will definitely use every year and for any other plumbing needs.

From the initial call to the company in panic mode, to faucet being fixed they did an awesome job. Very professional! The initial visit required a part to be ordered. Since we were away on vacation the tech was able to schedule return trip to fix the problem first thing the day we returned. Awesome job!

Technician arrived on time and went right to work. He and his assistant were courteous and helpful. the repair was completed in minimum time. as a bonus we were presented with a bag with a coffee cup, a pen and pen light with Genevie logo..

The arrived in the hours that were given. However, all he did was replace a washer inside of the faucet and spent 15 minutes at the house and was gone. Still charged me full price of 149$ which is absurd. I called the office and asked why this is happening and was explained that a min. of 1 hour is charged regardless and there is no waiving/pro-rating of charges. Work was fine, prices are outrageous. Wont use again.

This is the second time I've used this plumbing business. They have a customer for life! They are consummate professionals, experts at plumbing, and are exceeding courteous. They explain in great detail what they are repairing and why, and then proceed to accomplish their work with expertise one expects of professional plumbers. I will never have the need to use another plumber; they are simply the best! If you are looking for a plumber, look no further.
