I had two meetings with them. My first meeting with them was shortly after I met with the other company and the second meeting with them was to see the first phase of their design process. They have not given me an estimate but just gave me a plan. They were very professional and very friendly. The planning for the project was just as important to them as actually carrying it out. That is why I went with them. They were into making sure that they planned it all out and everything was taken care of beforehand so there were no surprises during the actual work. They were extremely thorough with measurements. They just didn’t take measurements of where I wanted things done but they also took elevation and all kinds of different stuff. They took a lot of stuff into consideration before designing the whole thing. They pretty much knew what they were taking about. Their prices are a little bit higher because of the extra planning time and design time they take. They say this upfront. It made me more comfortable knowing that they planned it all out. It wasn’t just price that I was looking for but also no surprises during the build.

The owners of the company, Bill and Justin, were professional, knowledgeable, and overall great to work with. They came out to look at the site initially and several times throughout the project. We met in their office to view various options. They were willing to work around our work schedules when meeting. The crew that worked on site was also very professional and came out when scheduled. Sharper cut was also very patient as we fought to resolve an issue with another company that impacted the work Sharper Cut was performing. Everything was completed in a timely manner. The finished products are fabulous. I would recommend Sharper Cut to anyone.

Justin is courteous. Explains in detail is timely & follows - up. He and his crew did an outstanding job. More than I expected the result I am totally pleased!

They were punctual for my estimate and Bill Brandford was very helpful. They have a very easy electronic process for signing your contract and the admin specialist Monica was very pleasant and helpful as well. Use Sharper Cuts..go ahead..use them!! :0)

The service turned out well. They came on time, got the lights up, and then also came to take them down without me needing to call them.

The service turned out great. The quality of the work was excellent. Initially some plants died, but the provider did come back out and do some replanting to customer satisfaction. Overall, I had a great experience!

Bill and Justin were very responsive from the beginning. They were the first company to call us back and scheduled us right away for a meeting. They listened to our ideas, showed us their work and explained how we could stay in our budget. They were very big on phases to ensure that we were comfortable with what we were spending and also not rushing to construction until we were all agreed upon the design. They drew up a plan as well as create a 3D model on their computer so we could see the full effects of all aspects of the design. Ask to see samples of their work--it will blow you away. We felt comfortable saying things we liked and things we didn't and they made all changes right away. We were permitted to see physical samples of and then hand select all building materials and see pictures of all plants. Once construction began they had an excellent hardworking crew. They were very professional and friendly and very considerate of our neighbors with noise and equipment. The project moved along fairly quickly without delays. Their hours were consistent and they were punctual. Justin and Bill were also consistently checking in at our home/the worksite to ensure that everything was accurate and that we were satisfied. When we did point out some minor (normal construction) errors (a piece decking punctured, pergola edge cut) they were corrected right away and apologies given. Additionally, the crew consistently paid great attention to the quality of the work fixing minute details were never would have noticed in order to ensure that everything was in tip top shape. We changed the design making additions and subtractions during the process and Bill or Justin always came out to ensure that we were all on the same page. They were very flexible and the process was painless. They would give their opinion, but ultimately did what we wanted (which was almost easy the same). Additionally, all prices quoted were accurate. They offered options in terms of prices for almost all aspects and we never felt pressure to go with a more expensive option. There was no pressure when we would change part of the plan and go with a cheaper option--the level of service did not waver. Their primary focus was that our needs were met and that we knew all of our options. They also recommended a great vendor for granite counter tops as well as outdoor furniture. Overall, the quality, price and responsiveness are unbeatable! Bill and Justin have consistently come by to check in about lights and plantings ensuring that everything is fine. In fact, after Hurricane Sandy one of our new Magnolia trees had fallen over. Before we could get out to replant it, they came by and did so. Their plants have a 1 year guarantee. They also worked to ensure that we could use as much of our current landscape as possible to not only save money but to be green! We highly recommend this company and will use them again for any future needs. We love the work and our great new outdoor space!

This company performed well according to the written agreement. I only wish they had a policy to follow-up check up on their work. I had to call because several of the plants died within days of being planted. The company quickly replaced them, but more died afterwards as well. I decided not to call back. Overall, however, the work was good.

They are excellent. They do terrific work. They are very flexible to work with and are willing to go above and beyond.

I got a lot of compliments from neighbors and was happy with what they did. I would recommend them.
