We had a fabulous experience with Haygood Mechanical. We had called around to a few professionals to come and look at our AC and find out why it was not working. Everyone we called was charging outrageous rates to come and look. We contacted Haygood Mechanical, and they immediately called back, their rates were extremely reasonable. They showed up on time, and fixed our problem in less than an hour. Our system is running is perfect. We couldn't be happier. Thank you Haygood Mechanical. Before I decided to hire Haywood Mechanical, LLC, Mr. Haygood patiently answered all my questions via email concerning his rate to inspect a central air system and what the inspection included. Although I forgot my appointment, Mr. Haygood was very understanding and rescheduled for another day. Mr. Haygood arrived on time, was very pleasant, and took his time testing the central air system, as well as the registers and air vents. His rate was competitive and I will use his services again.

They made an appointment the next day to fit my schedule and Damian showed up at the agreed time. He was very friendly and went right to work. He found two parts on our heat pump that needed replacing on. One of them only worked for one heating cycle after installing it, so he took it back and returned the next day to reinstall. Damian did not rush through the job but checked everything to make sure that we were getting the heat we expected when he was finished. Based on this experience, I would recommend Damian to anyone I know.

The induced draft fan motor on the furnace was failing causing an electrical burning smell throughout the house. The fan was replaced and the odor dissipated. Furnace capacity issues continued and a temperature rise test was performed and a gas consumption test was performed which required clocking the meter to check the gas to make sure that the furnace was firing at 100%. Neither test showed a significant problem with the furnace and the gas test showed that the furnace was not consuming the correct amount of gas and the pressure adjusted. Final gas test indicated that the furnace was consuming the correct amount of gas. Temperature rise test indicated that the furnace was within operating range. A CO test was also performed to check for leakage of Carbon Monoxide and none was detected. Second opinion was sought and a rusted heat exchanger was found. Furnace was not leaking Carbon Monoxide but performance of Heat Exchanger was questionable. To eliminate all possibilities and stop further testing furnace was replaced.

The service was good--he was prompt (within stated window of time for appt), courteous, and most important, knew what he was doing. The problem was fixed (some radiators were ice cold, others hot). I would use the firm again, if we needed work done our heating system.

Damian was very prompt and professional. He contacted me immediately on the morning of New Years Eve and arranged to come over within the hour. I was very impressed. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He fixed the problem with my furnace almost immediately. I would definitely recommend Damian to others.

Very professional and very knowledable technician. He knew exactly how to fix the problem I was having with my Heating Pump. He made the necessary repairs and his rates were very reasonable. He came to my house the next day after I requested service which was on New Years Day, January 1, 2010. I'm recommending Haygood Mechanical to all my friends and neighbors.

As nearly everyone else has said, Mr. Haygood is timely, professional, compentent and my experience was great. He works quickly and conscienciously and I would call him back anytime if additional problems arose.

Mr. Haygood came out on Veterans Day, replaced a part on my boiler, installl it. I had another problem that occurred that neither of us was aware of until a rubber pipe burst that someone else had installed without my knowledge. I called Mr. Haygood and he came right away and found the problem and advised me go call a plumber. He couldn't believe what he saw, he said "I've seen it all" He is very professional and his price is right !
