It is a little gesture, but it shows how he values his customers. I would not hesitate to use BAR again for any needs. Went really well... some unexpected hiccups, but they were on it!

Henry initially was going to do the work on Memorial Day saying he worked all the time. After discovering that his supplier would not be working on Memorial Day he rescheduled to the following Friday and voluntarily knocked $200 off the price. Friday arrived and Henry & crew did an excellent job removing the old unit and installing the new unit. A week or so after installation I noticed some weird noises when the AC ran. They tracked down the problems to parts of the old system that they had not touched. System is now performing well. Would highly recommend to anyone.

After several repairs over a couple of years we decided to replace our 14 year old central AC system with a new heat pump system. We got quotes from 3 companies, and decided to go with B.A.R. Appliances AC LLC based on past experience, extended warranty, and very competitive costs. The entire installation was efficient and professional. I found Henry and his staff a pleasure to deal with. They left me with a nice clean system and I would highly recommend B.A.R. Appliances AC LLC for any HVAC work. It's nice to have quality work done in this day and age!

He did a check and it didn't need anything, so I am hoping he was right. The HVAC was put in about 8 years ago so I figured it may need something adjusted. I was at work so my daughter was at home and let him in. He called me afterward to say all was well..

Mis-diagnosed issue with Rheem AC unit. Diagnosed it as a refrigerant leak in the coil covered under warranty and recommended that I get in touch with the original installer to service the unit under warranty - which I greatly appreciated, and did. However, the original installer indicated that the unit was just a pound low on refrigerant - no leak in coil - and behaving as it did due to safeguards built into the unit to prevent damage to the unit.

My air conditioner had been acting up for quite some time, and after I exhausted the fixes I could find on the Internet, I scheduled a $19.99 check-up from B.A.R. They came at the perfect time on a Saturday. The technician and his helper were very professional, and quickly diagnosed the problem (coolant leak and no Freon). They did not have the supplies with them to fix the problem that day, but came back a week later (again, on a Saturday) and fixed the problem quickly. The price wasn't cheap ($375), but good service rarely is. Anyway, A/C is working much better now, and I could not be happier. Especially because the pregnant wife would not enjoy a hot Baltimore summer with no A/C. Thanks again to the B.A.R. team - will hire again.

It turns out my central AC unit must be replaced. (I'm not surprised - it is 20 years old!) I was not prepared to set up the replacement that day, but Henry and the other tech were very professional and pleasant, and thoroughly explained the issue with my AC. They quoted a lower price to replace the whole unit than I actually expected it to be. When I'm ready to have it done, I plan to have them do the work.

Tuned up the A/C in our home. The outside unit was covered with light yard debris and they removed the panels and cleaned it all out. Stayed around to make sure the unit worked properly and answered all my questions. They stayed as long as they needed, did not need to rush off to another appointment. They called 15 minutes prior to there arrival. and were there on time.

Very well. They even cleaned my filter, had some suggestions on better utilization of my system. Very knowledgeable and pleasant.

Work was completed in less than three hours from when I first called them. The mechanics were very pleasant and helpful. The final charge was less than the original estimate. Very professional. Definitely will use them again.

I purchased a coupon special for this company to do an A/C diagnostic. Wow, one of the best service experiences I've had in some time. Henry and John arrived at my house, and donned shoe booties before entering. They went to work checking my indoor unit first, and joked of what a shame for them that my system was in such good shape. LOL. These guys were very professional, yet personable. After checking the existing system output, they went outside to check on that unit. Henry told me my freon level was low, and even took me outside to show me the gauges and what the numbers meant. My coupon price of $59 included up to 1 pound of freon if needed, but Henry said I'd probably need 2 pounds, for an extra cost of $65. He came back inside and rechecked system output, and my, what a difference. Before they came, my system would run for hours just to keep the temp in the house at 75 deg. He set the thermostat to 70 before he started, and the system shut off at 70 degrees just after they left, After cleaning up, I was only charged $50 for the extra freon. All in all, I'm very pleased with this company, and will not hesitate to use them again when I need service.

Henry and John provided the service and were very professional. Although they arrived a bit later than expected, the inspection was performed efficiently and completed well within the one hour I had expected it to take. I had been remiss in replacing my filters and Henry explained to me why it is important to change them every three months. Knowing the possible consequences will lead me to be more responsible in the future. My A/C unit is installed in an attic and even though the ladder I provided was rather short, Henry said not to bother getting a longer one and made do with what I had provided. John volunteered to carry the ladder back downstairs and carried the longer, heavy wooden ladder out to the yard for me. I was also pleased that both men put on shoe covers to walk through my house. In sum, the service was carried out professionally and cordially and I would definitely use their services again.

Called BAE at 5pm, and left a message with their operator. Henry called me back within 5 mins and was at the house within an hour. By 6:15pm my AC was working again -- he quickly diagnosed the problem, had the part in stock (capacitor), and completed the installation. He was professional, skilled, and courteous. Would hire him again in heart beat.

I paid for this service and when I called them to set up the appointment they told me they did not come to my area. I would like a credit so I can apply it to another vendor.
