initially ok though while onsite I had to ask "what is that rattling noise"...I don't understand how they didn't realize they had dropped a piece of cut duct sheeting into the unit interior. They used bad taping on the modifications they made to the ducts and it all blew apart. called to have them back to fix several times and they never bothered to answer

Smooth at first but had to come back several times to finish. DO NOT USE THIS GUY.He used to be punctual and reliable. Service used to be good.Something has happened. I called several time and texted his last known number. My new HVAC a/c is not working after less than 4 months. BEWARE!

He installed a new capacitor, then the HVAC system started leaking all over the basement floor and he said he couldn't fix it. He didn't add any refrigerant to my system, and the contractor who came in after him to fix what he couldn't added the needed refrigerant and fixed the leak. It's been working perfectly ever since.

Good at first. Henry is polite and very responsive. However a few months later the heat pump was consistently shutting off and the circuit breaker kept getting thrown. When opening the the unit we found the capacitor was not secured at all (in fact it was still sitting upright in the box, but wired to the unit), and had flipped over and was making contact with the metal heat pump housing. I am lucky that I didn't lose the entire unit due to poor quality workmanship, or even worse, someone getting hurt. Also, they are constantly trying to up-sell you a new system. I would not recommend.

Me Henry was very professional and knowledgeable. He explained the whole situation to me and gave me all options and helped me choosing the best unit. My AC was leaking freon and was beyond repair. Initially Henry did his best to make it work and it worked only for two weeks and eventually we opted to replace our unit. Mr. Henry gave me the best quote and also adjusted previous repair cost towards new unit.

Henry called right away, and let me know the timeframe he would be able to come out. He came out on time on a SUNDAY, of all days, and was able to diagnose quickly what was wrong. Swapped out the capacitor, flipped the switch and the fan started spinning. Henry was here maybe 20 minutes from doorbell to goodbyes. Would highly recommend!

Technicians where polite and professional! After calling around and comparing prices I found that BAR was the most affordable company to do buisness with. I'm very satisfied with the level of professionalism they showed my husband and I.

Suggested replacement of outdoor A/C/heat pump unit due to possible leak. The unit was replaced in the middle of the winter but not working as heat pump. Took six months before they came back, tried to make it work, but eventually gave up and told me to hire somebody else to finish the job, and they would pay for expense of having the job finished. The new heat pump unit was not even leveled. I called another company to finish the job, turns out BAR Applianced had connected things wrong and burned the motherboard of the new unit, which needed to replaced. Took several days to get the part and re-intall (in 85+ degrees of heat). After that (and $400+ in costs) everything works. Guess what? After about 2 months, I still have not received the promised reimbursement. On top of that, the leak was not even in the compressor/heat pump, so: now onto chasing a leak onto the freon line!

They replaced the part and adjusted some settings so that the a/c would shut off rather than flood the basement were the condenser to break again. The most noteworthy part of their service was their responsiveness. The auto-shut-off led the outside compressor to malfunction and only blow air rather than cool the house. We called them back, and they came right away and fixed everything for no charge. There should have been no charge, of course, but some companies might have tried anyway. Everything now works perfectly. They have earned our business with their professionalism, ability to diagnose and fix problems and, above all, commitment to customer service. I recommend them highly.

They came as promised. Completed their work and my AC works just great now.

Very satisfied with the quality of work and level of service. After the diagnostic, they took the time to make sure I fully understood the problem and my options before I made my decision. They completed high quality work in a timely manner, and took great effort to make sure they cleaned up after themselves. A few days after the work was completed, they made a follow up call to verify everything was working as expected. It felt like they genuinely cared that quality work had been completed. They were very skilled and the utmost professional.

Henry was amazing, even though it was a difficult issue, he kept going and going until it was fully fixed. He then came around a coiple more times to make sure it stayed working.

Needed refrigerant in both of my central AC units house was 90 degrees inside due to leak. Had my house cooled and followed up on any concerns before I even had to reach out to him.

They were efficient and knowledgeable. Detected and fixed a problem and told us what to do in the future.
