I chose B.A.R because of a high recommendation from my neighbor .They were very professional. They were flexible with my crazy work schedule to make an appointment and agreed to come out at night with no extra charge since my air conditioner wasn't working. Fortunately, my husband looked up everything to check for the air conditioner and was able to change a simple fuse and we cancelled the appointment. My AC is 16 Yrs old so I know I will need a new one soon. I am going to get a couple of estimates now and B.A.R. Is on the top of my list.

We contacted B.A.R around noon on a Saturday, as our AC was not cooling the house (85 degrees inside). The technician said he could come the same day, 8:30pm at the latest. He arrived ahead of time (called to confirm) and quickly diagnosed the problem: the coolant had leaked out, and he spotted the leak almost immediately. He got to work and soldered the leak thoroughly and then filled the system with coolant. He charged less then the last technician that we had out from a different company for the coolant, and also fixed the problem's source instead of just putting a bandaid on it. We appreciated the same day service, friendliness, honesty, and technical expertise. He clearly had a lot of experience and we feel we got excellent service.

Went perfect. Still in need of someone to inspect my Air Duct system he couldn't help me but told me once I do get help to follow up with me

Henry was excellent! When I contacted him, he scheduled an appointment for the next day. He arrived on time. When he assessed the issue, he found that he was not able to perform the work that day because there was ice in the unit. So, at our request, gave us a verbal estimated range of the cost and instructed us to keep the unit off until his arrival the next day so that it would thaw. He arrived timely the next day, and completed the work. The HVAC seems to be working very well now. We will definitely call B.A.R. again, if we are in need of HVAC repairs!

Initially there was some confusion regarding the scheduling of the visit. I confirmed the appointment with them directly via email, but they said they didn't get the confirmation, which may be because I didn't reply via Angie's List. In any case once we rescheduled by phone they showed up as scheduled to complete the work. I wasn't available when they came so they spoke to my husband, but my husband was very pleased with the inspection and professionalism of the technician.

I spoke with Henry about a new HVAC system. We scheduled an estimate in the next couple of days. He was on time and arrived in a cool new branded truck (with the Angie's List service award!). Henry assessed my current system, took a couple of pictures and was done in 15 minutes. I asked a few questions that he was happy to answer. I liked his personality and felt that he would do a good job. He sent the estimate the very next day. It was not detailed at all and that was really the deciding factor against sealing the deal. I'm a detail-oriented person and it's important to me to see in writing everything that is included in the job (hauling away old equipment, the coil and all parts included, etc). I emailed Henry and he assured me that the price included everything. His price was in fact, the best of the 3 estimates I got. I ended up going with another provider who provided the detail that I crave. When I told Henry, he asked why (and I told him). I think it really showed his professionalism and dedication to customer service to ask why AND offer his assistance if I needed anything. I can definitely understand why B.A.R. has received the Super Service award(s).

We chose to replace this system. $3500 was about $1500 less that comps I found online for similar service. He had the system replaced in less than 3 hours. He was very professional and responsive. We felt like we got a great deal. He uses Goodman systems, which are the least expensive. It's the same brand our builder users. We agreed with him that they last long enough to make them a better TCO than a more expensive brand name that *might* last longer, especially since it seems may of major components of these systems are OEM'd from the same factories anyway. Overall, very happy with the service and the prices, and would definitely use again.

The owner of the business is a kind, honest business man. His price is fair, he's excellent about communication, and he's straight forward in what his business takes care of. I now have someone I can count on when my air system needs maintenance.

Henry was prompt, friendly, and very knowledgeable. Had a power surge that knocked my furnance, and kitchen appliances out. He diagnosed the furnace in 20mins and had it fixed within 30mins.

Absolutely the best experience I've had with an HVAC technician. The service tech (Henry) went out of his way to help me and was extremely professional. He was very careful with the unit since it is older. He did not try and sell me anything I didn't need. I have recommended this company to my friends and family. I was very pleased.

I got a deal on Angie's List and had a coupon also so the total for me was $9 (normal was $89 I think). Henry was great. He knew his stuff. Was polite, friendly, and was more than willing to put in the time to help me. The problem was MY incorrect installation of a wi-fi thermostat. He did a system diagnosis and fixed the wi-fi thermostat. I couldn't be more happy!

The technician came on time and did all all he promised and more. Cleaned pump. Repaired hole in duct that I patched (poorly). Showed me how to properly main the systems and how to replace pump on my own to save money. Very friendly and helpful service. Bleach sprayed all over him while cleaning pump and he took it in stride even though his favorite ha was ruined. Good attitude.

Henry was very helpful and informative, he went over some key details of my unit that I wasn't aware of. I will definitely be using this provider for all of my Heat Pump maintenance.

Advised me to get a new AC system, but said that unit was still working. I'm going to keep using the old system until it breaks.

He made me aware of extra maintenance that needed done, no hard sell, just information. I chose to have it done and when I saw what he did I was glad I did. The tech was very professional and I got a lot of good advice about how to maintain my system. He recommended a future service but didn't pressure me to do the work now. I really appreciated his honesty and professionalism. I will use them again in the future.

Repair guy?s name is Henry. He serviced the unit from 3:50 to 5pm (he arrived at about 3:40pm). He was very friendly and answered all my questions regarding the maintenance of the unit. The service was purchased through Angie's List for a $59.00 "Air-Conditioning Tune-Up or Diagnostic and Up To 1 Pound of Refrigerant". I needed an extra lb. of Freon so the total price came to about $125. One only thing to be aware is that some AC tune up includes indoor and outdoor coil cleaning which is necessary from time to time. This one doesn't. Overall, the service was good. I wish there was a way to give this review an A- or B+ instead of a plain B. Some other places offer coil cleaning (which is a labor intensive task) for just $20 more. This is the only reason I didn't give the price an A.

Henry Bentley is the best! My York attic furnace was on the fritz and I found Henry through Angie?s List. I called Henry on a Tuesday morning and he was at my house later that day to diagnose the problem. It turns out I need a new control board so he ordered the part and was back at my house the following day (Wednesday) to install. Because he is such a perfectionist, he came back out to my house the following Saturday to add a missing clamp to my control board. A great experience in all respects ? I will definitely use him going forward for all of my HVAC needs. I will also strongly recommend him to my friends.
