Fantastic. Quick response to my call and very flexible when I had to reschedule last minute. Thoroughly explained the problem and the repair options and suggested the most effective and least expensive choice. Really great service and incredibly quick. Fair price and professional and pleasant at the same time.

I messaged B A R last night around 8pm saying something was wrong with my AC. I got a message back acknowledging my email before I went to bed. I got a phone call from Henry before 9am the next day to schedule an appointment. He was at my house by 10:30am that same day, diagnosed the problem (bad capacitor) and explained what was happening, suggested maintenance that would help my unit last longer, and by 11am, I had working AC again. While he was at my house, he was professional, knowledgeable, and showed really great customer service and just seemed to be an all around nice guy. I would definitely recommend him!!

Henry is fantastic. Last year, I found BAR through Angie's list. Henry replaced an older AC unit for a fraction of what the bigger named outfits were charging. However, before doing so, he made every attempt at making the old unit work in an effort to save me money. Throughout the experience, it was very clear that he was doing everything in an honest effort to save me money and avoid replacing big ticket items. Now , any time I have an issue with my heating or Ac, he comes the next day. The guy is a work horse. He comes on Sundays, holiday weekends, etc. He truly cares about his customers and takes pride in what he does. Dealing with BAR has been the single most professional and enjoyable experience I have had while attempting to keep up with my 120 year old money pit of a home. Use them. You won't be disappointed. Having tried a few of the bigger name hvac companies in the area, I can tell you that BAR is head and shoulders above them in price and, most importantly, service. A+ Jim

Unfortunately, my family was away on vacation when the breakdown occurred. Henry took great care of us! We really appreciate his professionalism and quick response when our AC just wasn't up to par. He was able to diagnose our problem, replace our unit all within a few days. I would highly recommend this company to anyone without hesitation.

Henry had done some previous work for me last year with replacing the motor to my hvac and this year, I had 3 different hvac units go out at 3 of my rental properties. Henry replaced them all. He was very accommodating and coordinated everything with my tenants without me being there, which was great. His prices are very reasonable and he stands behind his work. Great guy! I will continue to use his services in the future.

Went well. Arrived when stated, inspected and diagnosed problem, made recommendations for repair. Gave us time to think about what we wanted to do and responded in timely fashion after we gave him the go-ahead. Problem fixed!

It went well. The technician showed up on the date and time that was previously arranged. He was polite and very knowledgeable. My husband requested an estimate for a new system and the technician promptly sent us the estimate. We haven't had the new system installed yet, but we will most likely strongly consider using this company when we do decide to have the work done.

My central air was not working and was making a noise. So Henry from B.A.R Appliances was called to do the repair. He was very confident in diagnosing the issue and had replaced the part that he believed would fix the unit. However within an hour the same noise started and the house was not cooling. My wife called him back and he said it could be something else and he could come back but at this point we did not want to spend any more and decided to replace the unit instead. Since we went with another contractor we are asking for a refund of what he charged. He is refusing to give us a refund and will only give us credit on a new unit. But we are not using him for the replacement. I would understand if the repair he made worked for even a little while but it didn't even fix the issue. period. When I called to ask for the money back he was very unprofessional in his tone and I do admit to voicing my frustration he was using language that no professional should ever use with a customer. He told me to s*** his d*** and then hung up.

I had no air conditioning. Got out to me the very next morning. Saved me maybe 1/2 the cost.

After tech found one visual leak. He did not do a complete AC system check for other leaks. The Freon completely leak out within a month after spending close to $400.00

They found the problem and solved it quickly.

We had BAR Appliances AC LLC install a new AC unit to replace our old one that failed. We are excited about the excellent and efficient service provided by Henry and his helper Dale. Henry is extremely accommodating, friendly and professional. BAR Appliances gave us an excellent price for the units and work performed and even upgraded the standard thermostat usually installed with a Wi-Fi thermostat. BAR Appliances is an outstanding company and my wife and I are very happy with the completed job and would highly recommend BAR Appliances to everyone. Henry’s knowledge and skill are so excellent that we will continue to use BAR Appliances for future maintenance of our system.

Perfect! Maureen responded to my question via Angie's List last night at 10:30 p.m. which was unexpected. We scheduled an appointment this morning for this afternoon at 3 p.m. Henry called when he was on his way, arrived on time, explained the parts of the central air unit, replaced the contactor, checked the Freon levels and within 20 to 30 minutes the air was back on! B. A. R. was very responsive. Henry and his team member were very professional. I highly recommend their services.

After years of dealing with various HVAC companies in the Baltimore metropolitan region, I have finally found the one! I was extremely pleased with the service I received from B.A.R Appliances AC on June 16, 2016, and I will use them for all future a/c servicing or replacement needs. My 10-year-old system has a small leak which, in lieu of replacement, requires refrigerant every year or two. B.A.R. is the first company that not only delivered on a quick and convenient appointment time, they did not overcharge me. I also appreciated that the diagnostic deal was the least expensive out of any other HVAC companies on Angie's List. Tech Henry (and Dale) were professional, friendly, and efficient, and my diagnostic revealed a realistic expectation on the condition of my system and an affordable estimate in the event that my system needs to be replaced. Definitely recommend.

They came up on a Sunday because we were without AC. Very sociable, friendly, and knowledgeable. Very honest. I would definitely recommend using them.

Overall an easy, productive experience. The technician was punctual, professional, and easy to communicate with. AC unit was serviced and brought up to specs, and all work was explained to me in detail. Based on the job done, I had the technician repair the electric shutoff box that had seen better days. I will definitely use this company for future AC work.

Henry from B. A. R. Appliances was TERRIFIC!!! Called to confirm problem and set appointment, arrived EXACTLY as scheduled, discovered problem quickly and repaired it immediately (even during a sudden torrential downpour!) I could not be happier and strongly recommend them!!!!
