Chris my HVAC tech was knowledgable, efficient and provide exceptional customer service. Chris diagnosed the problem; and explained how the part works in the a/c; replaced the part; deliveried the reciept.

The tech was on time and did an excellent job!

They did not keep thier appointment time which is today, 6/9/2014 between 8 and 10.

Travis,the service tech came, called me prior to arrival. I can't blame him for making me wait since 10am when actual arrival was close to 7pm. The service intake people informed me that they couldn't give me a time frame and that I would only get a 30 minute phone call prior to the arrival. Just wished someone could have told me that they knew for sure the times that they would not come so that I could get some errands done. Overall, my experience was great.

Great- McCrea did a great job and was in and out of my home in a week. They installed duct, heat pump, and unit into my 1930's home.

He was prompt did a fantastic job and didn't try to sell me anything. Showed me some things on my A/C that may be a problem in the future but didn't try and sell me a fix.

All was well for what could be done at the time.

Said have to call them back for an estimate. Service Technician was very nice and nothing against him but would really love to find a air service repair company that takes some initiative and pride in their work. Tired of companies just coming out/doing the service call/basic routine then going away - sort of like "Check" got that one out of the way now can go on to the next. If they want a customer that keeps calling them back and recommends them, then put a little effort into the call and make it seem like they really care that the system operates at it's best and that they can fix it correctly.

Prompt response to provide regular service

They called me and ask me if they could come over early I said ok. Lance Weekly and his associate were very professional. They answered all my questions. Lance changed a worn out Single Pole Contactor. I would get them again if I have a A/C Problem

I was very impressed with their service. The sales person was very friendly. They were very helpful. I was very happy with them. I would use them again.

The regular technician came, inspected my thermometer, vents, air filters and took my heating system apart, checking the insides, using some type of machinery and said system was ok. I didn't pay anything because I have a contract with them and have had it for over 12 years.

It went great! They are great every time they come out. They figure out the problem right away and get it resolved quickly. They're friendly, professional, and very knowledgable.

We have a maintenance contract with McCrea, for two yearly maintenance checks and because we have their GOLD Plan can contact them 24/7 for repairs. Came out the next day to check the heat pump and determined the problem, ordered part needed and within two days was back to repair. We would not go without their contract because ever since we have purchased a contract the service calls when needed have paid for themselves.. Always very pleased with their response and with all the techs that have been to our home. Very pleasant and always keep us aprised of the situation.

This final time we decided to contact someone else, although our unit is still under warranty we don't trust the contractor. Using Angie's list helped our confidence. We are so happy we used Angie's List. We are more than happy with the service from Mcrea's and will call them back for future jobs.

In August, 2013 I purchased equipment from a technician and was assured they would accommodate my work schedule and come out at night. After spending $500.00 for the equipment, the service department advised me there were no night service calls. I assume the technician did not tell the truth so he could get the commission for the sale. Maybe he really didn't know... For years I had a service contract with Total Comfort HFAC, who were bought out by McCrea. I kept the service contract when McCrea took over and had no problem with them for several years. Of course, I never needed them, either, until a recent deep freeze and I called for service when my heat pump did not work. That's why we buy these contracts, right: so they'll come when we need them? The service department could not schedule me until the next day, and then they didn't show up! I cancelled.

General servicing of my heating and air conditioning system. Very professional and complete. Answered my questions straightforwardly and gave me far more information about my system and it's condition than prior companies.

First and foremost, the manager/supervisor STOLE a used (3 year old) washer and dryer from us after asking about buying them. He took them without notice, but later said he would pay for these several times, but never followed through. When it came time for me to pay my GC for the work, GC claimed no knowledge - didn't want to get in the middle of it, and we were only asking $100 and had bigger fish to fry in the context of a half million dollar job so we let it go. It is more the principle of the thing than the $, but he will never get a reference from us. Work was OK, but slow overall. Didn't communicate very clearly which systems were available at what up charge in order to qualify for state & federal tax credits. I guess we are lucky to have functioning systems - although they are a bit noisy.

They did fine. They were a little bit on the arrogant side.

Replaced existing heating and AC system.

Customer Service sent someone out three times, it wasn't until the fourth time that I got someone who knew what they were doing, but I had to call multiple times to get the fourth visit. On the bright side though, they were a few thousand dollars cheaper than other A/C professionals we had contacted.

They do a good job. Their technicians usually do a thorough job with the inspections. They sold me a maintenace contract I did not need since my unit was still under warranty. I contacted the officeand let them know this. They were repsonsive to my concern, and they honored my next year of service for free because of this.

It went very well and they were very honest and professional. They were very good with their work and they were completely thorough in their explanation of the work and overall did a great job. They passed the county and city inspection on the first try.

Mccrea is a grade 'A Plus' Company. But the people make up the company. Let me tell you about them. John Prince, our Comfort Consultant is an 'A Plus' Professional and he is personiable. He listens very well, and helps you in making your decision. John's managers and associates 'leaned into the wind' to help get the system we wanted at a reasonable price. They are 'A Plus'. Leslie, works with John in the office and she is an 'A Plus' professional who listens, helps you make a decision and has a strong follow-through. She knows her business. She is a Fire-Cracker, as the older folks used to say. She was instrumental and infallible in helping us get funding. Our installers, Brian and Mark, are 'A Plus' as well. They came right in, took out our old system and installed our new Trane system within about 8 hour in one day. They cleaned up, we signed the contract and left. They were very courteous, personable and professional. We have an 'A Plus' team that we will call again soon.

My experience was and has been excellent as always when I use McCrea for my heating and ac needs. I have been using them for the last 10 years. Very pleased with their customer service from the time I phone them to when the technician leaves my home. What I like the most about them is that they have specific technicians assigned to specific areas and these are the techs that you become familar with on every visit to your home. This means alot I feel to a customer because when it is the same tech it is just like it is with say your doctor, they come to know you and your equipment on the personal side. They know what problems you have had before and know what has been done on your equipment so you don't have to explain everything that has or has not happened to your equipment. Sometimes the tech remembers things that he has done to my heat pumps that I have forgotten about. In having the same one or two techs for all of your calls it also makes you feel safe to have them in your house because you have come to know and trust them.
