Two men arrived to perform the jobs. They were a little late, but once they got here, they were very professional and worked non-stop for about 4 hours. The work was very clean and professional. We will definitely use them again in the future. The price was great....much lower than another quote we'd gotten from another highly rated angie's list provider.

They arrive at the appointed time, and examined the light socket. The broken bulb was removed and we were informed that there was no need for a new socket. The whole procedure took about 15 minutes. I was a bit surprised by the $140 charge. Seemed steep to me, but work was performed correctly and professionaly.

Not only did this company not show but they lied about it when I called to inquire where they were after waiting on hour. The person on the phone insisted their representative was at my front door knocking with no answer, this while I was inside waiting the entire time. On top of that - they had the wrong address, one door over, and they did not call me to inquire where I was. They may or may not be a good company but I would not recommend using your work hours to wait for them. Next...

It went well overall. They were able to have someone here within an hour of when I called them and they saw the issue pretty quickly. They didn't have the right breaker box for my type of unit (I live in a condo and had a small one) so they had to go to Home Depot to get one and that took a while but they didn't actually charge me for all of that time which was nice. Once they had all the parts they worked quickly but it was hard to fit the larger new circuit breaker in the wall. That was where they lost a little points - they had to cut quite a bit of the drywall up to get the new unit in, and getting the wall back to looking good now is going to be some work for me - there are gaps or holes on 3 of the 4 sides of the new panel. Can't say if someone else could have done better though - the problem may have been the space rather than their skills. It was hard for them to judge the cost in advance but their original, unofficial estimate of around $500 was reasonably close considering he told me specifically he couldn't give me an better estimate until he found the right breaker box to replace mine. He cut me a few breaks on the final cost too. All in all though they got the job done in a reasonable amount of time for a reasonable cost and everything electrical in my condo seems to be working well. Whew!

Tech arrived on time. Professional attitude. Great "let's get it done" attitude. Explained everything in layman terms as he worked. Cleaned up really well. Summarized work before leaving site.

JKJ came out and went through the house with me to provide the estimate as I had a lot of work to be done. Jason was on time, was pleasant, patient and very knowledgable. He advised me on options that I was considering for different things. Because of the Christmas holidays, there was a slight delay on starting the work but they kept in touch and let me know what the scheduling issues were and exactly when they would be able to start. When they came to begin the work, they were ontime and the workmen were very nice and considerate. They did an excellent job and stayed on task. They ran into a couple of glitches with unsuspected pipes in the walls but they quickly redirected and made the final product look great. They even showed me what they were doing so that I could learn the process. They also did a couple of little things they did not have to do, like carrying a heavy mirror downstairs for me. I was extremely pleased with their work and with the price. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs electrical work done.

It went very well. As I said above, they were extremely patient. They gave good advice, as I wanted to try and fix the broken piece in the light fixture that I had received and have them install it anyway. However, they convinced me that that would not be the best idea, as it would probably fall later; I wanted to have it up so badly! However, I followed their advice, and am glad that I did. Once I receive the replacement light, I will be calling them again to put it and another two up.

Sharon in the office was very professional. 2 technicians (Layton & Danni) arrived on time. One proceeded to look at washing machine and other to install chandelier. Washing machine was not something they were familiar with and had to consult with their boss. Chandelier required an extra part in order to install it and they did not have this on the truck. Both went off to hardware store to get the part. Finished installing chandelier and replaced socket upon their return. Work done satisfactorily. Was told I would get a call from someone at the company with an estimate on the washing machine, as well as someone to quote on installing power to the garage. 2 weeks later I have not yet heard from anyone. Feel that $160/hour is a little pricey, altho' I do not know how this compares to other firms. Will not be following up with them on the washing machine, nor will I use their services again. Also forgot to use the Angie's List coupon!

After disappointing experiences with 2 other companies we decided to check Angie's List and found JKJ Electric. We needed the work completed right away and they sent someone to our home just hours after our initial call. They did a great job.

Smooth from start to finish. Electrician worked fast and cleaned up afterwords.

This was excellent. They came on time and knew what they were doing. They charged a fair price. I would hire them again.

We were very pleased with the services of JKJ. They put in a new box for us due to the fact that our old box went out completely. We will be using them again for upcoming projects.

The work quality was very good. They were clean and prompt. Everything was great!

They were responsive and made the necessary repairs quickly. Unfortunately, one of the light fixtures stopped working again. They responded within a couple of days to recheck the wiring at no cost and it is now working.

Overall, I was pleased with the installation of the ceiling fan. It works great. However, in order to wire the fan control switch, the technicians had to cut 2 holes in the living room wall. They patched the bigger hole, but left the smaller one open (which is more visible).

The two electricians who came out - Jason and his assistant Layton - were professional, polite, and did an excellent job. Jason knew exactly how to change the bulb in our brand new hanging kitchen fixture - a tricky job that had baffled even the manufacturer's customer service rep. The company was extremely helpful and accommodating: When they put in a new bedroom fixture and we found that it didn't provide sufficient light to the room, they were able to adapt our old fixture to work better and switch the old fixture back in.

Three electricians arrived and were very careful installing this very heavy piece. It took them all day but they did a great job and were very patient.

JKJ is a great company to do business with. They are honest, upfront, reasonable, and punctual. I had them install 3 new light fixtures in my home that required some difficult wire work. They also installed a spot light in my backyard and tied the wiring into an existing switch. I had them install and wire two in-ceiling speakers for my home entertainment system. They were very professional, and I would use them again.

THEY HAD THE BEST PRICES OUT OF THE FOUR BIDS I RECEIVED. THEY TOOK THEIR TIME TO DO THE JOB. THEY SCHEDULED THE WORK WITHIN A WEEK AND WERE VERY COURTEOUS ON THE PHONE. THEY COMPLETED ALL OF THE WORK IN ONE DAY. THEY WERE EXTREMELY NEAT. THEY LEFT NO RUBBISH OR MESS BEHIND.
