I was very impressed by JKJ. They scheduled an appointment for the day after I called and arrived exactly on time (!). Jason was pleasant and very professional; explained what he found and what he was doing. Because the main job took less than an hour, he checked a few other outlets and switches that were concerns. I will definitely use them again!

Everything about my experience with JKJ was outstanding. Making an appointment was very easy. The staff was punctual and professional. It was clear that they are experienced and knowledgeble. It took them less than 3 hours to install 8 recess lights in two bedroom. They took care not to dirty the carpet and the walls, which I really appreciate. The overall price was reasonable and I received 10% Angie's list member discount. I highly recommend JKJ and will be calling them next time I need electrical services.

On time, professional, got the job done and didn't run the meter (no pun intended). Oh, and they showed up and did the work several days after I inquired on Angie's List, as compared to another top Angie's List electrical company who did thousands of dollars of previous work for us and who I had to bug for almost 2 months to even get an estimate for this job. Still don't have that estimate. Pays to shop around! Will definitely call these guys first next time, and not the others.

Getting an appointment was painless. JKJ gave me 30 minutes call ahead with a 2 hour service window. Elecrtician was punctual, professional, and careful. Price was reasonable for the amount of work and hours he spent.

First, JKJ was scheduled at 8:30 AM and Paul Gordon, the electrician, knocked on our door at 8:30 AM. Could not have been more punctual. I showed him the outdoor light fixture which has not worked in a reaaallly long time. I assumed, given the age of our home, the problem was with the house wiring. Plus, I had looked at the light from several different angles and couldn't see anything wrong. This is why I am not an electrician. The problem was a loose wire leading from the socket which could not be fixed. However, Paul had a socket on his truck which fit after he patiently swapped out some screws, etc. So it was not a simple plug-and-go scenario. I really appreciated that Paul took the time to fix the light so I didn't have to buy another one and schedule another service call. This is our first time using JKJ, but it will not be the last.

This team is great. No matter who they send they are profession, work quickly and efficiently, and do a fantastic job. They are one of the few service providers that actually shows up when they say they will. Personally that is worth the price they ask. No waiting around, wondering if someone will show up. Our home is much safer since they have changed out so much wiring and assisted with new light fixtures throughout the home. Being that we live in an older home is it very important for us to make sure everything is done to code and we are safe. Very much worth peace of mind. Thank you for the great work you continue to provide for us in our home. It is very much appreciated and you get our recommendation hands down.

The fan worked but the light flickered and sometimes didn't turn on. The electrician determined that the problem was with the socket. The electrician went out and bought a new one (porcelain this time, thank you!), and installed it. We received the Angie's List discount for the work. Also, the electrician was kind enough to give me the serial number for our fan, a piece of information that I want to have on hand for the future just in case. Both the light and the fan work perfectly now.

it did not go real well. while preparing the estimate they failed to note that we would need a new breaker box - adding to the cost of the job. They did did not clean up after the job more than superficially, I was sweeping up wire clipping for almost 3 months afterward. The work crew's tool boxes damaged the floor, it took a considerable amount of time to get even partial restitution for repairing the damage.

The technician was nice and explained everything to me. The only reason why I did not recieve service from them was because I was able to get a much lower estimate from another company.

The experience was terrific, I love them. I added on a bunch of work, and so I paid over $1000. They were professional, and they did good quality work.

Both gentlemen who provided services were professional and extremely helpful. The air conditioning issue was resolved very quickly and when taking a look at the fuses upstairs they alerted me to a fire hazard in the way that the wiring was done on the upper level of my home (having and older house and having had similar problems in other areas of the home before, this was not completely surprising). They fixed the issue so that there was no longer a fire hazard and even went the extra step of labeling my panel so I'd know which breaker controls which room. This was all accomplished in just one hour of service.

They did great work and at fair price. I have referred them on to friends who have been equally as happy with their work.

Arrived on time - actually five minutes early. Friendly, courteous and responsive. Placement of the recessed lights quite tricky given location of ducts and joists - but they were committed to getting it right such that we were happy--and we are fussy. The three electricians had wonderful commitment to customer service. We had previously had JKJ install new electric panel and heavy-up service; that also was very satisfactory. We couldn't be more pleased.

I called Sharron on Tuesday, April 15th and described the work. Because this job required the electricians to be very careful working around my existing, expensive, radio equipment, I requested her "best" people. She quoted the price and asked me where I heard about JKJ. I told her "Angie's List" and she gave me an immediate 10% discount from the quote she had just given me. We agreed on the job date and time: Monday, April 21st and the JKJ electricians were to arrive at my job site between 7:30 am and 9am. On Monday, 4/21, they arrived at 8:30 am. They first made a site survey of the job. I described the work and pointed out my various requirements for their being careful and I answered their questions. The work began and I watched the entire 2.5 hour job. The two electricians were excellent. They knew exactly what to do. They were careful. They were diligent and their work proceeded non-stop. I answered several questions and made some cable-routing decisions as the work proceeded, but it was obvious to me as an engineer, that these two were well-trained and experienced. The work proceeded without errors or re-work. They did an excellent job. I was extremely pleased with their work. I will definitely recommend JKJ to my friends for their electrical work and I would use JKJ again in the future.
