I scheduled four weeks in advance to give me enough time to choose a new ceiling fan and have it delivered. On the date we had scheduled I called at 9:30 because I hadn't heard from them yet. When I called they said they forgot to put me on the schedule but someone could come the next afternoon. The next afternoon they were able to stay for two hours completing half of the job but concluded it would take too long to finish the rest that day. So I had to call and schedule a third day. They came on Saturday morning about 25 minutes later than expected. And then the electrician had to go to his last job and pick up his tools and run to the store to get supplies. The electrician that had completed the first half of the job knew which tools and supplies would be needed and I shouldn't have had to allocate more of my Saturday to the electrician going to get supplies. The work was completed and I feel they did a good job I just wish it could have been easier to schedule and plan. I bought the 8 hour special and it took three days for them tout in the 8 hours. Not awesome.

Things went well. The vendor was very responsive and punctual.

I called them and they said they wouldn't be able to come out for a while. They told me I wasn't on their highest priority list since it was just a 39.00 deal.

I had some unexpected issues come up at work and I wasn't going to be able to work with the company within their open time frame. They were very prompt in calling me. I was just unable to have the work done.

It was perfect. They were quick in responding. They cleaned up when they were finished. Two electricians came out.

They didn’t try to sell me anything additionally that I didn’t want and he was well qualified for the work.

They did a good job and I was pleased with the service.

On time...professional...very satisfied.

Stay far away from this company and find RELIABLE people because this business is far from it! Mr Bentz is one of the most unprofessional business owners that I have come in contact with. I purchased an Angies list deal that provided an electrician for 2 hours, he told me in order to have 4 lights installed I would need to purchase 2 extra hours at $95 an hour which I agreed to. He told me that it would take less time to send 2 people out and that's what he would do. The first appointment was a NO SHOW. I contacted him, he sent via text that they could not make it, yes thats right, text! . Strike 1. I rescheduled for the following Friday, again they pulled a No SHOW Strike 2.. I contacted him and he stated that they were running behind and could be there in 2 hours. Shouldn't you notify your customers when you are running late? I sat around waiting for these people on my day off and they never called or showed! I rescheduled one last time for Saturday at noon. The worker showed up ay 1030 and by himself. I asked him where his other worker was and he said he would start the work himself while waiting on the other worker to come. To top it off, he thought he was showing up for a light fixture repair!! He tried to nickel and dime everything. He needed to run to his car to get a ladder, he needed to run to his car to get something else, shouldn't you already be prepared to get the job done? He then said he didn't have another worker, it was just him and it would be an all day job, not the 3-4 hour job that the owner stated before scheduling NUMEROUS appointments. So the fact that they lied and said someone was showing up was Strike 3 for me! He called the owner and said that I could get my money back and it wasn't a need for me to contact the owner about it. SUCH POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I'm demanding a refund and will NEVER use this business! A complete waste of my time! Didn't get an apology from the owner either! Don't use this service!

Jeremy and Dallas were the electricians that came to my home. They were both extremely professional, and performed the work requested. I was unsure about if I need a new circuit breaker installation to run one of the power receptacles, as it would be used to power a new fridge. Jeremy measured the power draw for the fridge as I already it operating at the house, and let me know that a new circuit was not needed. The receptacles that they installed, were/are installed professionally in my opinion. Some of the work was exterior to the walls (room is partially unfinished) and they ran the new lines well. The receptacles in the wall, are clearly installed well, as they appear as if they were installed when the home was built. All in all, I am very please with the work performed, the cost of the work, and will use Bentz electric again, if and when I need to. A+

Great. He purchased a new smoke detector and replaced an old one. He examined the outlets that weren't working, located the problem, and fixed it by installing a new circuit breaker in our main panel.

It came out perfectly - very courteous and professional electrician did the work.

I told them I wanted them to divide it so that everything didn’t go to one circuit. They charged me extra for that and we continued to have the problems. They came back a few times and they charged for each time they came out. They tried multiple times but it never got fully resolved.

John did a number of projects including the installation of an attic fan, recessed lighting, couple of ceiling fans and an electric heating. He was very professional, responsive and punctual. They cleaned up after themselves. John was easy to deal with and he understands his trade.

The service worked out well. He was quite responsive to us. John got several things done He came out twice, once for most of the day and the second time was to wrap up a few things up several weeks later. He changed some switches for us, installed two sets of overhead lights, and installed overhead light and fan in our bathroom.

Bentz Electric called to schedule service for 7/28/14. After scheduling, I discovered the source of the problem and realized it was something I could easily fix myself. Called Bentz and cancelled service. Would use in the future based on responsiveness and willingness to cancel appointment without a hassle.

I schedule an appointment with the provider for Today and they failed to call or show up. I spoke to Mr. Bentz on the phone and sent several messages and still NO Call NO Show. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate of my time. I would not recommend them to anyone.

They were great. They were courteous, patient in explaining everything for me and very detailed in the estimate. I feel like he went out of his way to save me money were he could. They were also very responsive on a late night call I made to them, which I didn't realize I was calling his mobile phone.

It was difficult to get a hold of the provider (even though it was booked through Angie's List) However, once we got a hold of him, the service went well. The people were approachable and did a good job. This included Pepco coming over to confirm that everything was OK and we had no problems. Would definitely recommend Bentz services

The owner himself came to the house to do the work. He was very responsive, called before coming over to give me an ETA, showed up on-time and was polite. He did the job an hour, more or less, and was very patient with my needing to shift things around for him to be able to do the work. He let me check everything to ensure it was to my liking prior to leaving and there was no mess. The only reason I have a "B" (I wish there was an A-) is because depending on what you plug in there, it can seem a little loose ... otherwise, perfect. We were very happy with the work and the deal of a price. We'd definitely call them again if we need more electrical work in the future.

I bought the $399.00 promotional package from Bentz Electric which offered eight hours of electrical services for one electrician; four hours using two electricians. My electrician, Dallas, was on time, friendly and professional. He was unable to finish the job on the 17th but informed me that he would be returning the next morning with another electrician to complete the work.. He and Jeremy arrived early and remained pleasant in spite of my questions (I admit that I can be a tough customer). They were confronted with several obstacles, mainly the shoddy installation by the cable company. They made the proper corrections and didn't leave until they knew everything was working properly. My $400 investment became $700.00 due to time overrun and material that they had to purchase to complete the job. Yes. I would use them again.

Bentz Electric was fantastic. They did excellent work for exactly the estimated cost - a sign of a high-quality professional. We are selling our condo and had a home inspection turn up several electrical issues we needed to repair. I emailed the list to several providers on Angie's List and got responses from about half a dozen, which was great. Mr. Bentz responded personally and was one of the few to actually give me an estimate straight away as I'd requested. He quoted $275 for our pretty eclectic list of electrical repairs. We scheduled service for Wednesday, but I got a call early Wednesday morning letting us know they had had a truck break down and asking if we could reschedule for later in the week. We only had Saturday available, and he agreed to come Saturday. I appreciated the professionalism of the call and flexibility. On Saturday, he showed up on time after giving us a call first. He worked methodically through our long list of items with a couple breaks to get parts. He took the time to explain why one particular outlet we'd been having trouble with wasn't working and how it was fixed. Because we needed this for a real estate transaction, we asked for a pretty detailed invoice that listed all the items fixed. They gave us exactly that. And best of all, despite running a little longer than expected due to the need to get extra parts, the cost came in exactly as estimated - $275 for all work and parts. It's rare the estimate and actual are perfectly in line for such an eclectic mix of needs, and I was impressed with the accuracy. Overall, I can very highly recommend Bentz Electric for any electrical repair needs! PS: a few days after this, our AC went out. Because of the timing, we thought it MUST have been an electrical problem. We called and Bentz came back out, checked all the work, and diagnosed the problem as a line or box in a specific location OUTSIDE our building that was unrelated to his work and inside a locked room so there was no way to test. We called the Condo association, who insisted that it must be a problem inside. But when the condo repairman came out, low and behold the problem was EXACTLY where Mr. Bentz had predicted, inside the locked room. Basically Mr. Bentz did our Condo association's job blind. So 2 for 2, and an even higher recommendation for Bentz Electric!

I found them on Angie's List. The owner of the company was the one who came to help me out. My whole point is if I have to pay out money at least I don't want to have to worry about calling them back again. I have a problem with calling people back.

Well. I purchased for 2 hours but it took them all of 15 minutes with 2 guys to fix issues.
