I called in Comfort Air at the suggestion of our rental real estate agent. The system was not working properly and eh fan would not shut off. A technician cam that afternoon, diagnosed the problem and recommended replacing the furnace due to the fact that it was 25+ years old. Replacing worn out parts would cost about 65% of a new one so the tech got us an estimate for the replacement. We accepted the estimate and scheduled the replacement for two days following. Right on time two days later, teh Confort Air owner' son showed up and in 4 hours not only replaced the furnace, he vastly improved the appearance and utility of teh HVAC closet. This was one of the best home repair experinces we have ever had.

The did very well. There were no negatives about that experience, there were only positives. They came out when they said they were going to. I was able to get an appointment quickly. They were very professional and courteous. The most important thing was that they took care of the problem. I called them out the same day that I purchased the deal, and they were out the following morning. I had to pay an additional amount.

I called Comfort Air because my heating system stopped putting out hot air and just blew cold air in the house. It was getting very cold inside and we had our coats on. The receptionist was really nice and dispatched a technician right away. I was so pleased that they had someone to our home so quickly, and without an extra emergency fee. The technician quickly found the problem. The part that had gone bad was out of stock, so he managed to get the old part working again so we could have heat until the new part came in the next day. He came back out and installed the new part the next day, and I never paid more than the initial house call fee. Comfort Air was wonderful and we will use them again whenever we need help with our heating system. The only thing I would complain about is that I think they put way too much of a markup on the part. I know I could have bought the part online for about half of what they charged me for it. Fortunately, the part was cheap to begin with so a 100% markup wasn't the end of the world. If you're having a problem with your system and the part itself is expensive, I might get the part myself and have them install it.

It went well, but he didn’t correctly diagnose the problem when he was out for the evaluation. He thought that we needed to have something completely replaced. But it was under warranty, so weren't going to have to pay for it. Then when he came to replace it, he went up in the attic and found that it was actually a different problem. So we didn’t need to have it replaced after all. He just made an assumption of what the problem was. Something that had been supporting some connection up in the attic had tipped over, so that's where the problem was, but it looked like there was a problem with the motor. Overall, he was really responsive, punctual and professional. It was just frustrating to have the problem misdiagnosed. For two weeks we were waiting to get the new motor in before we found out that it actually didn't need a new motor. It just needed to be reconnected upstairs. He took the motor back and took care of all of that, which was great. He handled the situation pretty well once he realized that it was his error. With regard to quality, he missed the main problem. He has seen the system now, so he would know what to look for first. I would probably go with a different company in the future.

Excellent company, I am so glad I used Angie's list for recommending. Work was done just as promised. Techs arrived on time and explained the work to me. Although I can' t say yet how efficient the unit will be (I will post that later) the crew got a two day job done in one day and cleaned up nicely. Also, I almost hate to say that I feel I got a real deal, because when I had this job priced last year by Sears and a few others, they all wanted 4500-5000. Comfort air replaced the unit for under 4000. Thanks a lot and I will use this company again To update, it is now June 2014 and I am still pleased with this unit. It functions perfectly and although my husband complains, the electric bills are not that much higher than expected. The real difference is that we could not use the room at all during the winters, so naturally there was no cost. Now the boys can live up there year round and the bills this winter were about $75 more than usual. May's bill is $309 and last year it was $236. Hard to tell what is just BGE raising it's rates and what is the unit working.

Scheduling was good and quick. He did a very good job assessing our heat pump and diagnosing how the overall system was doing.

They said that they could not do the work in Baltimore county, my area even though they are listed as being able to do work there on Angie's They also did ot know how to return my payment for their coupon |I will never ever do business with a firm like that again and arise others Not to as well

Our AC went out some time during the night. I did some basic trouble shooting, realizing there was an issue and it was beyong my capabilities. I called around noon hoping to get someone to visit the same day, but realistically looking at the next day. Catherine(?) on the phone juggled the schedule and got us in! Chris, the tech, was awesome. Very polite, very professional and got right to it, finding the issue in less than 5 minutes. Total service done in 30 minutes start to finish. I highly recommend these guys!

Great service. Upstairs AC failed on a Thursday afternoon during the latest heat spell. Called several service companies first thing Friday morning, none of whom could get here until the following week. Comfort Air sent Phil over that same afternoon. He got it fixed and running, so we could sleep in our beds again.

I did all my research and already knew about what I wanted so I contacted 3 different companies in the area. After meeting with all 3, I felt that Comfort Air made the best impression on me. All 3 were in the ballpark with their quotes but Comfort Air's price included some additional work that the others did not include and they explained to me why they felt it should be done, and with the additional work their price was still about the same as the other quote I received for about the same equipment. Once I made the final decision and contacted them for scheduling, it was only about a week for their next available opening. On the day of install they showed up on time and ready to work, they covered the carpets with drop cloths to protect the carpet, brought in their tools and equipment and went right to work. They completed the job the following day, demonstrated everything, and did a good cleanup of the areas they worked in. The technicians were neat, professional, efficient and appeared very knowledgeable. I may not be qualified to put my own system in but I know what a good installation looks like and they did a very good installation. I would recommend them highly. I went for the high end Carrier unit with the high efficiency filter unit and the additional whole house humidifier and I am happy with what I have.

When I first called about the issue, the woman that answered the phone took my request for a repair person, but also offered several suggestions of things for me to try before the repair person came over. I immediately took this as a good sign; if a company is trying to save me time and money at their potential expense (I.e. I wouldn't need their services), that tells me that they care about their customer service. In the end, I still needed the visit of the repair person, but I felt comfortable that it wasn't going to be for something I'd overlooked. The repairman was on time, and went straight to work. He didn't say much, other than to ask me a few questions, but I got the feeling very early on that it was just his nature. He was very professional and had it fixed within half an hour. The only thing that struck me as odd was that he didn't explain what the issue was until after it was fixed. I'm guessing that had it been a more expensive repair, he would have discussed it before jumping right in. I would definitely recommend this company to others.

They were awesome because the lady on the phone has good costumer services. The guy who came was very nice gentleman; he came, checks the system, came back and told me what the problem was. He’s very patient, very through and he took the time to explain the issue and what needs to be done.

The service of Comfort Air was really good. They came to my house very quickly whenever I had a problem. I am comfortable having them in my house.

It went fine. I had a bunch of guys come out. He was very professional. He explained the process a little to me and he gave me some ideas about how to install it because I didn't know much about A/C.

Comfort Air did a great job. They were professional and knowledgable from start to finish. They went through the legwork of the warranty replacement process with the original parts supplier, who at first did not acknowledge that they had supplied the original coil. The installation went well and the system is working very well.

We called for an apt. They were here within 10 minutes of their scheduled arrival time. I had forgotten another apt which only gave them 1.5 hrs to look a the humidifier, figure out what was wrong, and fix it. Honestly, I thought we would have to reschedule. The technician figured out what was wrong and had someone else drop off the needed parts while he dismantled and cleaned other parts. He buttoned everything back up again right about the time we had to leave for the other apt. We have used Comfort Air in the past and feel they are reliable and trustworthy. If ever needed, we will definitely use them again!

The technicians that came out to the house were very profession, extremely quiet, and extremely neat. They even ate their lunch in the basement in spite of being asked to come upstairs and sit at the table. They did not want to disrupt the normal household flow.
