They were excellent. They arrived on time. They were wearing mask which we appreciated. They finished the work as they told us. They were polite. The price was fair. I would hire them again.

I was looking for a local company to replace my HVAC Systems, and after soliciting five bids, We decided to hire Comfort Air. Work went as expected and explained by Mike (Salesman/Certified HVAC). The installation crew was very thorough, paid attention to detail, and made sure I was satisfied with all aspects of the new unit(s) installation. Very good teamwork from sales to install.

My house badly needed an A/C upgrade and I reached out to Comfort Air, whom I had used in the past. They gave me a competitive price and were able to complete the upgrade within a week. They were prompt, professional, and did an excellent job. Since then, I have seen my BGE bill drop and the house feels much better. I highly recommend them.

Called Monday morning. They worked me into the schedule same day. Needed a capacitor which they had on the truck.

The installation was fine, the service after was not fine. It was more expensive than it should have been. The quality was good, we have not had any trouble so far. They're very professional. The work was fine, it's just that they were not efficient in terms of coming when we had a question, and we needed some help. The system went out and we had to call them back the next day. When another service was willing to come in the middle of the night. The workers were nice.

I have been using Comfort Air for my HVAC needs since I moved to the area 4 years ago. They have been helping me keep my 25 year old system running as we discuss options for upgrading. I love that we almost always see the same technician; Phil, who is punctual, professional, friendly & knows the ups & downs of our system. I would definitely recommend Comfort Air to friends & family.

Great. The technician arrived on time and was very courteous. He was very knowledgeable and professional, diagnosed the problem quickly, explained what needed to be done and how much it would cost. Completed the job and had the AC cooling our house before he left.

Figured out the issue and helped to solve the problem.

Able to diagnose and fix quickly, got us in the next day. $29 diagnostic (would have been $75 without Angie's List coupon) and $150 to replace the capacitor. This seems about in line with other companies, but the part is not that expensive and it only takes like 15 minutes to replace. Not sure why it costs so much. I asked about a fan noise on our other AC system but they said it would be a separate diagnostic charge to take a look.

Highly recommend. Friendly staff, competitive prices, excellent quality workmanship. They arrived on time, they finished on time. The work area was clean when they completed the job, they even found a plumbing leak (unrelated to the work they performed) that I was unaware of.

Technician was excellent, explained everything that was required and even thoroughly cleaned the unit. Called on short notice when HVAC quit working the night before. They were extremely responsive and fit me in the next day, the technician was prompt, and the cost was very fair for the work accomplished. I would use Comfort Air again!!!!

It went okay. What they did was just the $29. They didn't do anything else. Responsiveness was good.

We had a similar situation 2 years ago, another company replaced the motor, capacitor and blower wheel at that time. Called the original company first. Was told I needed a complete new system for $10,000 after only taking amp readings. Called Comfort Air for second opinion. Technician took apart entire blower and looked at all the parts. Determined that there was movement in the bearings of motor which were causing the noise. Was told the motor was usable but would need replacing soon, that the fan speed had been set too low and that there was no need for new system. After the blower was put back in place there was and has been little to no noise. I appreciated the thoroughness this technician showed when diagnosing the problem. I am unsure however if it really is a bad 2 year old motor or if it was out of balance. They were ordering a new motor so I will be contacting Comfort Air to discuss how to proceed.

We would like to commend Comfort Air and all its employees for the excellent job provided to us during the entire process from initial price quote through to final inspection. At each point in the process whether we were dealing with a sales person, office staff, installers or supervisors everyone treated us with respect and patience. It didn't matter when we had a question or even if we voiced a concern we were provided with an answer that was thoughtful and truthful. There was no attempt to brush away our concern with bluff or indifference and if the answer could only be provided by another member of the team that person was contacted and they provided an coherent answer for us. This company takes pride in their work and started with the initial contact. The individual who quoted us an estimate was very professional, listened to our wants and desires, didn't try to upsell, and explained the best options for us to choose. At the end, there were no hidden fees or cost overruns due to unforeseen expenses. When the installation process began all employees were respectful of our house laying down drop clothes each day, covering their boots each time they entered the house, and cleaning up all worksites at the end of each day. Work crews arrived each day on time and worked the whole day. Project management on the installation was outstanding. There was no schedule slip, all materials needed for each days work was on hand each day, work didn't stop because a necessary tool was missing, the work designated to be completed each day was done that day. Their professionalism was evident with every interaction we had with everyone at Comfort Air. This was evident from the first day through to the last. Uniforms were serviceable and clean, phone calls to the office were answered promptly and courteously, service vehicles were clean and super organized, and everyone put the customer first. If I were an HVAC professional this is the company I would want to work for as they are far and above the best we have had the pleasure to meet. If anyone is thinking about HVAC work hire these folks.

They worked me in & was able to get someone out the same day I called, which was important because of course it was very hot that day. The service rep was professional, diagnosed problem, had part on truck and was able to get our air back up and running. Great job at good price.
