Description of Work: Good small company. The technician explained what was wrong with our system, gave us 3 different system options to choose from, and answered all our questions. We thought the price was fair, not too high or low (don't have a basis for comparison). The installers were friendly and informative. We felt we made a good choice, and we had no regrets.

Description of Work: Replaced a capacitor in the a/c compressor.

Description of Work: A/C wasn't working. They sent a technician when no one else would. Inspected everything, found fan was broken, fixed it, made sure system was clean and efficient. We were able to keep travel plans.

Description of Work: The Angie's list special was suppose to be, I think it was 29.99 for the check up . It ended up being $60 more for the check-up and testing . Nothing was repaired and nothing was found wrong after the inspection, so I don't know why I got charged the extra $60 over and above the $29.99 I was charged on Angie's list for the inspection ?

Description of Work: Discounted visit to begin with to check malfunctioning heat pump. They checked it, diagnosed a possible leak, and gave us options to deal with it. Then, they fixed it. So, far system working fine. Did give us additional action items if system continues to act up in the future.

Description of Work: Had an issue with my gas furnace sputtering and clicking. 2 different services had been done over the past year. One told me it was a cracked heat exchange. One told me it was absolutely nothing. After another winter of it sputtering, I called Comfort Air. The tech shows up and gets to work listening. It took maybe 10 minutes of patience before it started making noise again. The tech took a look outside and immediately recognized the problem. The former owners had the deck built in such a way that it surrounded both the exhaust and the intake in a small joist area. The sputtering was the result of exhaust being sucked in through the intake. He performed a test to show that the sputtering stopped when it had clean air, and recommended a simple fix. I could not be more pleased with the quality of service and professionalism.

Description of Work: Our air conditioner was blowing but there was no cooling. A technician came out, did a full inspection and cleaning and found that a switch inside the compressor had been flipped. Possibly from a branch during our bad storms? It was a great deal and a great experience.

Description of Work: Tweaked our home AC system to prevent tripping breaker. Reinstalled dislodged thermostat. Very puntual, very professional, very economical.

Description of Work: Air conditioner was running all the time. Technician inspected the indoor unit and noted there was no problem there. He examined the outdoor compressor unit and found it was a pound and one half low on Freon. He added the Freon and waited until the a/c was functioning well. I was very pleased with his professionalism, his attention to detail and his accurate diagnosis. You would never know that he was working at a reduced price thru angie's list.

Description of Work: Chris came out and told us that there was a fairly serious problem with our AC system. It was fairly old, so this was not totally a surprise. We opted to have Comfort Air install a new heat pump and AC system, and it has been working very well so far. James and Ken arrived on time, were very punctual, and did a beautiful job. James took time to explain the new thermostat to us, and true to what Chris had promised, the men cleaned up after themselves completely. We have had a couple of occasions to speak to Cathie in the office and she too is professional and a delight to talk with.

Description of Work: I first contacted Comfort Air because our A/C was leaking. When I called I advised I was an Angie's List member and was told they had a Angie's List Deal I could purchase for $29.00 for a diagnostic call(I believe their normal fee was $75). Chris came out to take a look at the system. He was very friendly and gave me the options we had. Ultimately because of the age of the unit and the potential cost to fix it, we decided to have a whole new system installed. Do to the time of year, they were already |booked up with installs, we had to wait 3 weeks. They were able to get the unit installed and at least get us A/C the first day. They crew did a thorough job. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. They were honest, punctual, and clean.
