After the initial estimate, he followed up quickly with a phone call. He started work the day after we called to request the job. They came when they said they would and were professional and efficient, well-organized and performed work true to their estimate. We will use them again in the future!

They arrived on time and did what we agreed to, neatly and punctually..

No one returned my first call. Two weeks later I called again and left another message. This time, I received a call back a couple of days later from his office. I was told that someone would come by the property and get back to me. Again, two weeks passed. I called again. One of the employees returned the call and told me that he was on his way over to my property to meet Mr. Peddicord, and that they would either e-mail the estimate or tape it to my front door. That was over a month ago. No return call, no e-mail, no estimate.... I've given up and called in another tree service.

He supposedly was to come by and put the estimate in the mailbox but he never dropped it off. I called him two weeks later to get him to come out. He returned my call to set up and appointment for coming out and never showed up.

We had four large trees that needed to be trimmed and lightened. One had a bough that was beginning to split, that had us a little worried. Mr. Peddicord came out and looked over the trees. He explained the process of cabling the split bough and then explained why he didn't recommend it, even though other tree services had. After checking up on his facts, I again asked about cabling the bough, and he said he wasn't qualified, and we would need to hire a licensed arborist. I appreciated his honesty - which I had not gotten from the other companies that gave estimates. In the end we decided to remove the bough. The crew came when they said they would, but then went off to finish another job. Although they said they would return that afternoon, they didn't come back until a couple of days later. Then they finished all four trees in one day, left us a nice pile of wood shavings for mulch ( we requested that do so). They cleaned up well after themselves. The trees look great. The entire cost came in about a hundred dollars under the estimate. My only real complaint was that they left some of their equipment in my driveway for almost a week. I had to call and tell them to remove it ASAP, as I needed the space for parking.

During the final phase of the project, the company was supposed to sew seeds in the expanded portion of the lawn and cover it with grass. The seeds sown were of the cheapest variety (Kentucky 31 Fescue) and the straw overlying the sown seed was old (rather than fresh) and fraught with weeds. The grass has not grown-adequately-since the project has been completed. It has been two months since, the project was completed. Repeated calls (at least twelve), to get the company to rectify the problem, have gone unanswered. In conclusion, this company, purportedly a reputable one, has acted no better than a "fly by night" company of the worst kind. Even disreputable companies would at least answer the phone.

Billy was prompt when arriving for the estimate and offered options and suggestions. Work was done on time (as scheduled) by a friendly and professional crew. Our late request to prune the holly was done with no problem. All debris was cleaned up and removed. They were able to work with our schedule as we needed this done prior to having our driveway repaved. Didn't want any heavy trucks on the new asphalt.

Terrible. I waited all day for the company to show to do the work and they never came. Three calls to the office went unreturned. Two calls to the owners cell phone went unreturned. We were very disappointed and surprised by how unprofessional they were.

Chuck came out to give an estimate for trimming the trees and recommended that the one oak be cut down completely as it had already been struck by lighting once and was leaning towards the house. He also recommended that I cut down the mulberry and trim the mimosa's rather than cut them down. I had scheduled another estimate from a different company, so it took about a week for me to contact them to move forward with the work. Their office was closed for vacation that first week and my calls to the cell phone contact number were not returned. When the office was reopened after vacation, I left a message and the work was scheduled for the following week.

They came when they said and he gave us an acceptable estimate. The workman came, but we had agreed with the gentleman who gave the estimate what to do and they didn't really follow through with those orders. My husband had to check with them because we thought the tree was diseased and we were worried that they were going to leave the diseased branches in the wooded area to affect our other trees. The clean up was not good either.

We had a contract to complete the work which included removing the chips.

Company promptly scheduled an estimate and came out within a few days. Work completed quickly after quote was accepted. Tree removed while I was at work.

The work was done promptly (within several days of contracting for service) and professionally. Originally, we just asked for the large trees to be trimmed, but Chuck gave us a good price on doing the entire yard. The crew worked a full day and came back a few days later to finish up. We received several truckloads of free wood chips as ground cover for the woods.

Arrive as scheduled. All work completed in half a day (I thought is was a large crew). All debris was removed. Difficult working circumstances (heavily planted, fencing, stone wall and wires to avoid).

A very tall poplar tree was threatening to crash on to the house. They came out to give an estimate on a Monday. They said it had to be removed, as soon as possible. After asking some questions by phone on Wednesday, I signed and faxed the authorization to them about 2:30 PM. When I came home at 6:00 PM that day, the tree was gone. Other estimates we received were higher than their estimate and the other companies said they would have to get a truck in the backyard to cut down the tree, thereby requiring removal of part of a split rail fence. Columbia Tree and Lawn did it without a truck, without disturbing the fence and within a couple hours of receiving the authorization.

We received a prompt written estimate from them within 2 days of the initial phone call, and their price was the lowest we received. They came out the day following the estimate and promptly and efficiently removed the stumps. We are extremely impressed with their work, and would recommend them without reservation. I FEEL THE OVERALL PERFORMANCE OF THIS COMPANY IS GOOD. THEY WERE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND HELPFUL. THEY CUT DOWN THE TREES AND CLEANED UP THE MESS IN HALF OF A DAY. THE STUMPS STILL REMAIN, BUT THEY WILL RECOMMEND A COMPANY FOR US TO DO IT.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH THEM WAS FINE. MY NEIGHBOR WAS USING THEM WHEN WE DECIDED TO USE THE TOO. HEY WERE QUICK, EFFICIENT AND VERY CLEAN. I WAS A LITTLE SURPRISED WITH THE AMOUNT TRIMMED, BUT THEY EXPLAINED THAT THIS TYPE OF TREE NEEDED IT.
