Tony's Services

We were preparing for a wedding at home on June 23 and the house needed last minute touching up. I called several companies and left messages for a return call. Tony's gave the best price and seemed to understand the special needs for my home.(IThe house is of the side of a hill and requires and extension ladder, which is sometimes a problem and additonal cost.) They showed up on time, cleaned the windows and left them sparkling and cleanedthe outside frames so there was no dirty water running down the white wood work. (I have had this experience with other companies). They cleaned the gutters, bagged all the mess, and didn't disturb the flowers and plants around the house. The team was very professional and finished in under and hour.I couldn't have been happier.

I called Tony's and they said they would send someone out by the end of the week. The following week I called back and they said the same thing. I called them after they didn't show up and they said they would call me back. To this day they have not returned a phone call or showed up. I am very disappointed with this company.

We were very pleased with the quality of the work. they were efficient and thorough, and careful when inside the house, they did not cause any disruption to either the interior or the exterior. The windows look wonderful.

It took them about an hour to do the work. They did excellent work. They washed both inside and outside. They had a small crew come out and do the work. We will use them again. They had the best I have seen.

Our gutters were in desperate need of cleaning as well as our windows. The team called ahead and arrived an hour early (unheard of!). They cleaned the windows inside and out, including the storm windows, and removed all the g*** from the gutters. I plan to call them again in the spring for the windows alone. They did a fabulous job!

They were very professional. They came when they were supposed to come and did an excellent job. Their price was reasonable.

The work was excellent. The team arrived right on time and had estimated it would take 4-5 hours to complete all the work. They had a two person crew that came out and did a complete cleaning of our house to include windows, gutters, siding and deck. One side of our house is very shady so the siding gets lots of moss build up. After they were done, I checked that side in particular and it looked spotless. They finished in about 3 1/2 hours. The work was worth every penny and something I will almost certainly have done again next year. With the coupon for Angie's List members, it makes the deal even better.

They did an excellent job. Just need to clean up a little better with a vacuum or hand held device when all is done.

They did a great job! Two workers showed up on time, and while one quickly set up ladders outside, the other removed the storm windows from the inside. Then all windows were cleaned, beginning with the outside of the house. Every time they entered the house they removed their shoes. Not a spot of water/soap was left on the floors. They carefully placed all storms on towels so as not to scratch our newly polished and buffed hardwood floors. Luis and his coworker were pleasant, professional, efficient and focused. The price was very reasonable, and Tony was great to work with regarding scheduling. I am happy with the whole process. The windows are amazingly clear. My only regret is that I didn't have them cleaned sooner - I did not realize what a difference professionally cleaned windows make! I will definitely use this company again and highly recommend them.

They were on time and friendly. My only complaint is that they dripped water on the floors and didn't clean it up. I saw that as I was walking through the downstairs and cleaned it myself. Being as it was hardwood floors, I'm glad I saw it. Windows came out clean and a lot better than when they arrived. I thought the price was fair and have no complaints on that. I asked them to clean the fixture in the foyer which is two stories, but they weren't comfortable getting it down. It"s understandable to me. I'll probably go back to my former cleaners however, as they not only cleaned the light, but also didn't leave water spots.

They cleaned the windows inside and out. They were excellent. They were quick, efficient and knew what they were doing. They were very intentional in getting their work done. They had all the screens out of the sunroom in about two seconds. There was one guy inside and one guy outside and they worked as a team. The windows were perfectly done. The initial contact with Tony was also good. He came out right away and gave us the estimate.

Other than arriving quite late, all else was professional and well done.

They returned my call promptly and scheduled an appointment for the same week. They arrived at the scheduled time. They accomplished the various cleaning jobs in two hours and cleaned up the mess from the gutters before they left.

I've probably been using them for five years. I use them every year. The windows are a pain in the neck to clean. I have the old wooden windows with the panes. They clean every little pane and then dry them. I think they charge $5.00 per window if you don't have the storm windows done. The charge is $7.00 per window with the storms. They really do a good job. I like being able to look out through a clear window. One time they broke a storm window and they replaced it. They also clean siding and gutters and do power washing.

I found Tony's Services on Angie's List, and scheduled them to clean my windows on October 31. Their price was very competitive, and the three workers arrived punctually. They were professional and very polite. They worked quickly and thoroughly, and did an excellent job.

There was some confusion over the date they were to start work. When they came to give a quote, I asked for the earliest date possible, and the person giving me the quote told me that it would have to be done on a Monday after the Thanksgiving weekend. I said that was fine and was surprised when two workmen showed up on Friday, the day after Thanksgiving. We happened to be home so there was no problem. There was a bit of confusion about what we wanted done (the workmen thought it was gutter cleaning), but we told them it was window cleaning and they began their work. The work took them two hours. My husband wanted them to clean around the sills outside and even though this was not a part of the initial work request, they did that as well. They took off the screens and reinstalled them. The windows looked great.

Someone (Tony?) came by to give us a quote. They quoted $212 for cleaning the windows inside and out and removing the storms to clean them, also. They said that they would remove the awning for the same price while they were there. The other quotes I received from Angie's List companies was between $260 and $390. Two men showed up and I again went over exactly what they were going to do and the price of $212. They are one of Tony's "crews". The cleaned the outside first and all seemed to be going great, so I went to my office to do some work. After I heard them come inside I went to see how they were doing. When I noticed that the awning was still there, I asked why they had not removed the awning. The crew "leader: said in very broken English, "We're not doing that, we don't have time, Tony never said anything about doing that." I then noticed that they had not removed the slight over-paint in the kitchen and dining room, even though they were finished there. When asked the "leader" said, we don't get paid for that, we don't have time. I was desperate, so I offered to give them $20 each for the extra time it would take. He accepted and said that they would do it last. To skip to the bottom line, they not only scratched all of the windows in the kitchen and dining room so badly that I may end up REPLACING THEM, but they also refused to clean up! I argued with them, but they got rather nasty and threatening so I decided to stop payment on the check. I called Tony for 2 days before he returned my call. He apologized and said that he would come bye the next day to look at and correct everything. I left the mess from the storm windows and sills for him to see and clean-up. I came home when he scheduled his appointment, when he didn't show up after 15 minutes, I called his cell. He said that a truck had broken down and he re-scheduled for the next day. The next day he showed up 20 minutes late. He cleaned up the mess and said there was nothing he was willing to do about the scratches, period. As far as I am concerned he represents EVERYTHING that I belong to Angie's List to avoid. BAD BAD BAD!

On time, on budget, better than expected (excellent); will call in the spring!

It went very well. They came and gave us an estimate, we weren't home, he just walked around the outside of the house and counted them and left it for us-it worked out great for our schedule. They were very professional and punctual. They did a great job, the windows are still clean.
