Roof Solutions pricing was in the middle and we selected them because we liked how detailed the proposal was outlining the costs and materials. Artem responded to our many questions in a timely fashion. He even stopped by one evening to drop off a sample roof shingle because we wanted to be sure of the color before work began. We appreciated that Roof Solutions had a point person who we could contact to answer questions and troubleshoot. We again used them to repair our gutter that was damaged during derecho in the summer.

Team arrived for estimate and inspection in Aug 2012. Darron found a unique and awkward downspoat situation, explained options, and we talked the most cost effective solution. Team arrived on site Sept 2012 and all went well.

Artem and his crew were 100% superb from the moment we first contacted them. The estimate was clear and complete. The materials Roof Solutions uses are superior to those of other roofers. The crew was extremely prompt, polite, and professional. They have a very difficult job, and they were extremely pleasant and friendly. The workmanship is excellent, and they took great care with our lawns, gardens, and the house itself. When I had a couple of questions afterward, Artem called me back immediately and a crew was at our house the next day to go over some things with me. We've had some heavy rains since the roof was replaced, and everything is perfect. The roof looks terrific. The house is dry, and all is well. We have a great guarantee, as well. They even provided before and after photos of their work; our roof is so steep and so high that I would never have been able to see their work for myself, and the pictures are great. I was really impressed with the dedication, commitment, and customer service of Artem and his team. I would absolutely enthusiastically recommend Roof Solutions for any roofing needs, large or small. I only wish they did other types of work, too, so I could hire them for that as well!!

I thought their quote was reasonable. They did an excellent job in installing new gables tha were chewed apart by squirrels. I also thought their annual slate roof tune up cost was affordable.

The work they did was very high quality. They were reasonably priced, very efficient, neat, and polite. They were easy to work with.

When I called, they had a client response team. The person would answer your call, and if one of the team members wasn't available, someone would get back with you. I used them back in 2011 during the hurricane issues. They were responsive and gave me an estimate on the repairs that I needed to have done. They were very professional. They came out at the scheduled time. The estimator was in uniform as were the workers. Their employees had a truck that was clearly identifiable. The presentation was nice. The roofing specialist was very thorough. He even let me know some things that he could do that the estimator did not find. I would definitely recommend them to my neighbors and family. The quality is great. I have not had any leaking from the recent rains we have had. I will use them again if needed.

The Roof Solutions employee determined that the leak was caused by a popped nail in one (asphalt) shingle. When I asked for an estimate, he (verbally) told me an absurdly high cost to replace 1 asphalt shingle. Further, he indicated the cost would be higher if his company sent someone in the future rather than he perform the repair immediately. When I asked why the cost was so high, he said "honestly, it is rather high. But if you pay me, I can take care of it for you" for a much reduced cost scam...

Following two substantial leaks in our home, we decided we needed a professional to assess our roof and gutters. First contractor sat us down and said that we should replace our entire roof as well as the gutters. I called Roof Solutions and honestly expected to hear much of the same. Not even close. Not only did I not need a new roof and gutters, but Roof Solutions said they could resolve all of my problems by performing regular roof and gutter maintenance. The work was done with no issues and haven't had a problem since. Plus, my cost savings was thousands since I did not have to replace the roof. From the customer service center to the specialist, I was approached with honesty the entire time. The goal of this company was my 100% satisfaction, not getting the most money out of me. Smart business model and one that will have me coming back for any future needs. Highly recommend Roof Solutions.

Front room of my home had significant water damage. When it rained hard from the hurricane and almost continuous rain for the month of September, water was leaking from the ceiling in the front bedroom. I called Roofing Solutions and they sent out a gentleman to inspect the roof. He provided an estimate and came back the following week to perform the job. He was very courteous and professional in his demeanor . He thoroughly checked the condition of the entire roof. He replaced all of the missing and broken slates on the roof. The following day after the work there was a heavy rain storm. Not one spot of water came into the room. Just about every chimney on my block had significant damage from the earthquake, Some were completely destroyed. I was lucky to have a few minor cracks, which he caulked until I can have it professionally inspected. The flood light on the back of the house was allowing water to come into the back porch window when it rained hard, he caulked around the light fixture to seal the gaps. He reminded me to have the roof inspected annually. When the time comes, I will call Roofing Solutions to inspect the roof. I have previous experience with a roofing contractor, and I was not happy with the ou.tcome. I can honestly say I highly recommend Roofing Solutions. Thanks Angie's List!!!

The work that I wanted done was a combination of tasks that would be done by roofing companies and carpenters. Some others that got estimates from only wanted to do one job or the other. After coming out and looking things over, Roof Solutions agreed to do the entire job, and they quickly emailed a detailed estimate, statement of work, and payment terms. I called them to request one more item, they quickly made the change and we scheduled the work. They arrived on time and spent the better part of the day performing the work, with the exception of the vent replacement because they had ordered the wrong size. They ordered the correct size and returned a week later and completed the job. All work was done in a professional manner and with top notch quality. I consider this to be a completely satisfying experience and I'm very pleased with the results.

After reading Angie's List and having used Roofing Solutions five years ago for a rood on our screen porch, I felt I could trust that others had done enough research on other companies that I could use this company without a lot of estimates. I think the fact that there was a leak in the roof that wasn't determined on the first visit and that there was a charge of $400 for roof repair might be the only cost that I'm not sure was reasonable. I know that materials have gone up in cost and labor too is an issue. One of the interesting parts of the process was the delivery of the gutters. I wasn't told the day they were coming and the young deliveryman began out front measuring and cutting the gutters. He then walked around the house and deposited them in our backyard. As I am in a wheelchair I couldn't go out and talk to him. I think it would have been good to know either from him or Roof Solutions that he was coming and that the gutters were going in our yard. It worked out ok but I think the homeowner should at least be consulted or told.

I'm a new homeowner and several months ago I realized I had a minor leak in my slate roof (drops of water would come into one of the bedrooms whenever there was a lot of rain). Based on a previous home inspection, I also knew I had to get a new chimney cap for my roof so I was looking for a company that could do it all. I called 5 roofers off of Angie's list and received quotes from 4 of them. However, Roof Solutions, and specifically Artem, was the only contractor who explained - in terms I could understand and with digital pictures of my roof and general roof diagrams/pictures - the exact nature of my roof problem. Other contractors would quote one price in-person but would follow-up with written quotations that would often double the original estimate. Roof Solutions had one set price and that's what I paid - no more, no less. Roof Solutions wasn't the cheapest roofer but it was the one with the best customer service and follow-up and that is worth it, in my opinion. Artem sent me digital before and after pictures of my roof and the job was complete in one day. The time from quote to job completion was less than a week! In retrospect, that was ideal because we had a significant rainstorm over the weekend (sheets of water pouring from the sky!) and I'm happy to report that the leak is totally gone. Service was exceptional. Was on time for estimate, did the work on date promised. I could not be happier. I highly recommend and I am very particular about the workman I use.

It was a pleasure to deal with Roof Solutions (RS) from beginning to end. When you call you might get voicemail half the time, but do not worry, they always return calls promptly. That is more than I can say for other companies I contacted. Some others did not return my call at all even though I indicated I had work to do and was ready to proceed. Whoever you talk to at RS is courteous and helpful. This includes anyone who answers the phone, the estimator/salesman for the job, their accounting people and the workers who actually did the repair. I am very analytic and like a lot of data and everyone took the time to answer all of my questions and never seemed annoyed that I had a lot of questions. I got an estimate that was the lowest cost to make the repairs needed. I cannot say if it would have been the lowest if others had bid to do the exact same repairs. That is because one company said it did not make sense to just repair my leak because it would not last and I needed to replace the entire roof. Needless to say, theirs was the high bid. Another company thought just the repair could be done, but since the leak was in an area that could be "isolated" their approach was to redo that entire part of my roof. Needless to say their bid was much higher than RS. I could have possibly continued to get other bids until I found other companies that would have taken the same approach as RS to see if their cost was lower, But by this point I had dealt with enough people at RS that they had impressed me with their professionalism and their knowledge that I had already made up my mind. Of course I had already reviewed RS on AL and knew they had excellent reviews and ratings. They came out when they said they would and did the work promised in the time frame they had estimated. Because the work was scheduled for December they could not complete the entire job on the first trip because there was solid ice in the gutters. They said they would be back "shortly" and returned in 6 business days when the weather had warmed up enough to allow them to finish. Best of all, as far as I can tell so far they fixed the problems. It has only been 3 weeks since they finished the gutter work and 4 since the roof repair, so I know the real test of their work will come with more time and more wet weather in the spring. But we have had both snow and rain in the last 3-4 weeks and there have been no ice problems and no leaks. I would definitely recommend RS if you need roof or gutter work.

The President came out and he brought samples of the materials he would be using. He was very thorough in looking over the space. We did not use them for the project but we will consider them in the future. He was not extraordinarily, unbelievably awesome. He did follow up with us after estimate and when we told him that we are going with another company he said he would look over the company's offer which I thought was generous but a little weird. After getting the offer, their responsiveness was fine but there was a problem for scheduling the estimate. All his paper work was very well presented and thorough.

I was very happy with Mr. Deighton and his workers. He had been recommended by a trusted friend in the neighborhood. Mr. Deighton was timely in scheduling and appearing for the estimate, and excellent in his communications as to when to expect the crew to appear - or to be delayed by weather and safety issues. He gave me a reference address in the area to look at another job they were completing, and provided cost options for both aluminium and copper gutters/downspouts. Cost was a factor for me, and Mr. Deighton was good about making a good price in exchange for my agreeing to do the work on short notice at a time when he had an immediate opening due to a cancellation. Last but not least, I feel that Roof Solutions is a very well-organised, professional, and well-run business. It was a pleasure to deal with this company.

They have started the job, but they haven?t finished yet. It has been good so far. The first part of the work seems to have been okay. They gave us a very competitive price. We did check them out with other companies. They are reasonably priced. They are pretty responsive. I wouldn?t be able to comment much in terms of their quality. I would most probably use them again in the future.

They are very easy to work with. They are very accommodating. I've used them for big jobs, and they pull it off right, and in a straight-forward way.

Our problem was soft spots in our roof and some slight leaking. We had three companies come out. They each gave us different causes for the problems and different solutions. (One company said to leave on the 3/8" board, and put another 3/8" board on top because our beams were spaced too far apart. Another said to only replace the 3/8" boards that are bad with other 3/8" boards.) We chose Roof Solution who said we should replace all the 3/8" board with 1/2" board. Although, this was the most expensive, it also seemed like the most logical if we're going to pay for a new roof anyway. They seemed more knowledgable and made the most sense on the cause of the problem (shingle issues that damaged the boards). Besides Angie's List, we had a recommendation from a friend who used them several years ago and was (and still is) happy with their work. They had to delay our scheduled time because of rain the prior week. We only found about it the day before they were scheduled to start. It would have been nice to get a call at least noting that it might be delayed. But, in the end, it was only a few days' delay. We had one miscommunication in that their proposal was for insulation (between the board and shingles) over our whole roof - and we wanted it over just the cathedral roof. We asked if the price was for the whole roof or part, and were told by the salesman that it was for just the cathedral roof. It turned out to be the price for the whole roof. So, we could have saved some money there. However, Roof Solution offered to credit some of the cost on gutter work which we are planning to do next year. Roof Solution really worked with us throughout the process. During the bidding we found out that they offered a financing option to spread the payments over one year, which was helpful compared to some of the other bids. During the work, they provided a couple free gutter runs to help shed water from the upper roof away from the areas that had had the problems (soft spot and leak). This was a great boon since we didn't feel we could also afford a complete gutter replacement this year. Overall, they were very professional and clear. They answered all questions and contacted us each day during the work period on progress and/or issues. The crew was great and cleaned up thoroughly. We even had a post installation meeting to go over all the warranties and work again. We feel very comfortable with their work and intend to use them for gutter installation next year.

The owner is very reponsive, providing a detailed estimate, and then documenting the work (before and after) with photos. Workers were considerate, neat and timely. Always showed up when they were scheduled.

One man did all of the above work alone and he was absolutely awesome to watch. My neighbors called me to remark on this man's unbelievable ability to balance 150' gutters on his shoulders while climbing a ladder up two stories! Russell Deighton gave me the estimate, Everything went exactly as prescribed in the very detailed written estimate. I will call them for every roof need I have in the future.

I think they were fine. I?m not going to call them outstanding but keeping in mind that they were up on the roof they did a fine job. I can?t go up there myself so I hope they did a decent job but I don?t actually know. They seemed to be decent people. I think they did what they said they were going to do.

They did an excellent job and have had no problems. They did this in about a year and a half ago. I would recommend them to others.

R & D Industries Inc. were professional, nice and responsive. They followed up after giving me the estimate ($7,000.00) and were very good at answering my questions. I think they probably would have done a better job than a home supply store. I think they have a pretty good crew.
