Roof Solutions did full maintenance work on my slate roof after I had a leak in the living room ceiling. They replaced flashing and tiles. The crew stayed a full week. Very professional all round.

I contacted Roof Solutions after we discovered a water coming through an upstairs light fixture. Eric came out and discovered a missing slate and unsealed nail hole along the roof ridge. Rather than just replace the slate and reseal the ridge, Eric proposed a cap along the entire ridge to prevent future occurrence. The finished product is attractive and blends well with the roof.

This is a follow-up from a previous review I posted on 6/14/2018 concerning Roof Solutions performance on my roof. I filed a complaint against them, and they did respond with an apology and restitution for the property damage they caused. This rating is based on their responsiveness.

Quickly, efficiently, and thoroughly.

As the team removed the old shingles, they noted there were several decking boards that needed to be replaced. It was best to replace all decking as the building code had changed and a brand new roof was being installed. The team also patched up the chimney and added a flue cap that had been lost in years prior. The team worked quickly and efficiently and they cleaned up all around the house when they were finished.

I'd give them a B on price but an A on everything else.

Very pleasant and professional from start to finish. Removed 2 layers and replaced with arc shingles. Excellent work, great crew and right on estimate. Went with them because of professionalism and reasonable price.

Jarrod, a roofing specialist quoted me $1800. What a crook! I got two other quotes for $350 and $500. Fastening drip edges to the roof with nails or screws doesn't require much effort and yet Jarrod had the audacity to charge me $1800. He obviously thinks I'm dumb. Buyers beware!

Extremely professional. Quote was detailed and complete. I had 3 estimates done -- this was the only roofer that took the time to go into the attic and up onto the roof, which produced a more accurate estimate. The company gave us a realistic understanding of when the work would be done. Work was done exactly as stated.

Artem came out diligently and conducted a very thorough assessment of the entire roof. He explained each issue and answered all our questions. The issues were all taken care of that same week! They do excellent work. You do compare shopping because the first bid was higher. I was going to go with another company but they lowered their price and gave me the shingles that I wanted. They will work with you.

removed old slate roof that was beyond useful life, repaired some damaged wood, and installed a new synthetic slate roof with copper flashing. Work was performed promptly and the results are fantastic at a reasonable price.

Incredibly happy with the replacement of the roof, it took a day, the crew was on time and professional. I asked that they clean up the attic because there was a lot of debris, unfortunately it may have resulted in a ceiling crack in one of the bedrooms, but as soon as I emailed Russell about it, he assured me that his 3rd party crew would fix it without charge. They came on time and offered a professional estimate,scheduled a convenient time to install the new roof, arrived on time and got right to work. They finished on time and cleaned up after themselves. The roof looks great

Technicians were on time for both the initial estimate and work. I was given a $2390 estimate. The original quote was quite higher than some I received and lower than another (they ran from $800-3200) but Roof Solutions was very good about following up and was one of the more detailed estimates I received, so ultimately I went with them as there were a number of solid reviews for them on my neighborhood list serve. 2 technicians came to do the work right on time and were finished in less than 2 hours. I was originally billed the amount quoted to me in the estimate $2390 which seemed a lot for the time spent and little accompanying details. I asked for a detailed breakdown on the bill and the Roofing Solutions customer service rep Sandy got back to me after a few days to let me know she needed to review the contract with the technician. They ended up redoing the contract for me based on actual time spent and materials, which I was very happy with. While I was a little dismayed that the estimate and final bill varied by almost $1000, they were very responsive and fair in responding to my concerns. And final pricing more in line with what I thought was required. They also sent me a number of photos with my final bill, so glad I didn't have to get on the roof to check everything!

Took a while for them to get here, then took a while for the estimates. The estimates were high, so we decided to get more.

We called Roof Solution after calling 2 other places. The first was too busy to send anyone out for 2 weeks and the second was very nice but provided us with an estimate to fix the roof only and said he did not know if the vent fan worked until after he started the work. This did not give us a complete idea of the costs and we were reluctant to have someone get started only to tell us there was more repair work and added expense. So as a backup I called Roof Solution and I am so glad we did. The scheduler was highly professional and they sent out email reminders regularly. The estimator arrived on time and took a look around and was able to assess the situation right away. His name is Darron and he really was fantastic. He gave us a very thorough estimate to replace the vent fan and surrounding roofing structure and even cleaned the debris off the roof at no extra charge. I know the price was fair because I had our homeowner's insurance adjuster come out and take a look and the estimate was less than the adjusters. When we asked about when they could do the work he gave us a clear idea of a timeframe within about 5 days. When my husband expressed concern over the weather and the possibility of more rain coming in, Darron called the office and was able to come back and do the work that afternoon! He came back and did the job in about 3 hours up on the roof in 90 degree mid-afternoon heat and now everything works perfectly.

Our estimate request was responded promptly, and the estimator showed up on time. The proposal was sent within a few days and was very detailed. We in fact had three companies came out to estimate, and the proposal from the Roof Solutions was the most complete. They were not the lowest cost but the thoroughness of the quote was the first reason we decided to go with them. Workers came on time and worked the entire day to finish the main part of the house - they worked from 8 AM to pass 8 PM - we didn't require them to stay that late but were pleased that they saw the importance of getting that entire section done. They came the next working day, from 8 to about 4, to finish the garage part. They cleaned up both days after they are done; considering how messy it could be, it was remarkable they left no debris behind. Overall very pleased with the entire process. Would highly recommend.

Roof Solutions did a great job and they did it quickly. As with any roof repair, we were at the mercy of the winter weather and we had to reschedule several times because of weather. But they came out as soon as they could and always kept me informed. I can't see the roof from the ground, but I haven't had any problems with the roof since. Would definitely use them again.

Russell Deighton, the owner, inspected the roof and provided a proposal withing the week. Work was scheduled three weeks later. The installation took two days. Bogar, who was the head of the installation team, worked hard to eliminate the existing ridge in the roof between the original house and an addition. The roof is now seamless and smooth between the two sections of the house. All of the debris was removed. The yard was left totally clean. The roof looks fantastic! I highly recommend Roof Solutions. As a property manager, I previously used Roof Solutions for three other jobs within the past 7 years. Russel and Bogar have always been reliable.

The roof is fine now. We had a number of leaks in our bedroom from an old roof. They removed the rotted wood, redid the flashing, redid the roof and cleaned up after they were finished. Artem, our salesperson, was extremely helpful. He informed us of the problems with the old roof, counseled us on what type of roof we should purchase and photographed the roof while it was being done. He was approachable for all of our questions and answered them extensively.

Russell was initially part of the contract with Marvel Homes for replacing my skylights. Due to some damage in the drywall in various corners of the house and the advanced age of the roof, we decided to change the roof too. Russell was very accommodating and offered a range of options and also the financing possibility for the work. His crew did a marvellous job in two days. The quality of the work is very good and up to 50 yrs waranty was offerd for the roof.

I called Roof Solution.com because a friend of mine recommended them. We had moved into our home 7 years ago and never had the gutters cleaned. Not even sure if the previous owner ever had them cleaned once the vinyl gutter covers were put on them. The old gutter guards covered the entire gutter except for the narrow horizontal slats every 4-6 foot allowing the rain water to go into the gutter and down the downspout. We noticed for the last few years, especially in the rear of the house that the rain was going side way out into the yard instead of down the downspout and onto the ground away from the house. I figured it must be badly clogged with debris. I called them to get an estimate and Elizabeth in the office was very courteous and helpful. She scheduled an appointment for the estimate, email me with the information and the name of the person who would be coming to do the estimate. Aaron came on time within the schedule window. He was very polite and professional. He walked around the roofs and while he was up there even threw down some of the larger debris from the roof and moved them over to the compost pile where we used as holding area for leaves, limbs and other debris from the yard. He took pictures of all our gutters and showed me what had happened. The pictures showed that the birds, squirrels and other creatures have been nibbling on the vinyl gutter guards. He said they loved the vinyl guards because it is easy to chew on them. Over the years the chewing has created gaping holes in the gutter guards allowing dirt, leaves and other debris into the gutters and clogging them. It was especially so in the back of the house where we were noticing the rain water going out the side instead of into the downspout. In that area, almost a whole 4 foot section was completely gone. Aaron suggested that we take out the old vinyl guards and replace them with metal gutter guards. The metal is more difficult for the birds and squirrels to eat through them and they usually do bother with them. I asked him about the gutter covers that completely covers your gutter. He said that those types of gutter covers would not be very good for us because our yards are landscaped with shrubberies underneath the gutters and heavy rain water could damage them or ruin the landscape. He said that his office will send a proposal for just the cleaning and will include options of metal gutter guard replacements. I got the proposal a couple of days later for 155 ft of gutter guard. For an extra $276 over the cleaning cost of the gutters we could get the E Z Loc heavy gauge gutter screen or for $896 over the cleaning cost of the gutters we could get the Smart Screen gutter cover that is animal. weather, and leaf proof in an aluminum brown enamel color. The proposal included a link for each of the option's website. After clicking into both websites, we decided to go with the Smart Screen cover because we felt that the gutter screen is a downgrade of the covers we already have and also the holes (even the small hole option) is still big for debris and small leaves to get into the gutter. The Smart Screen seems to offer more protection and cover. I just wished it came in white instead of brown but since it sits inside the gutter, you won't be able to see the covers anyway from the yard. I called and spoke with Sandy to finalize the the proposal and to schedule the install. I asked her about discounts for Angie's List members and she told me that as a member I get a 10% discount which I was really pleased to hear. The day of the install, it was Aaron (who did the estimate) who came to also do the installation. He removed the old gutter guards, cleaned out the gutters and downspouts and flushed them with water to make sure the gutters and downspouts were cleared. He showed me the new gutter covers and after he installed them, I really could not see them from the street. The only way I could see them was from the upstairs bedroom window looking down on the roof over my porch. He cleared off all the debris from the roof and it was all completed in about 4.5 hours. He left the roof and areas under the gutters clear of debris and cleaned. Aaron was very professional and funny and he definitely knew what he was doing. I would definitely recommend Roof Solution.com for gutter and roof work.
