It went very well. Aaron arrived on time to do the estimate, inspected the roof, and discussed alternative ways to remove storm water rather than use our buried drain that had become blocked in several areas. I asked him to also check the roof for any problems as long as he was up there, which he did willingly, and he reported there were none. He suggested re-using a couple of newer 3x4 downspouts to save money, perhaps $400. The quote for gutter/downspout replacement arrived via e-mail a few days later, and work was scheduled for the following week. We were concerned that the over-sized gutters would cover up some vents, but Aaron quickly provided a solution at no additional cost, information conveyed by Sandy, the office manager, a very essential link in the process. Materials were delivered a day before the project was to be done. The next day they came as scheduled to do the installation. Aaron worked on/supervised the installation himself, assuring the work would be done as we had discussed. When finished they left the work site neat. The cost was a little higher than the competing bids, but they provided a more innovative design that solved problems for us. There were no surprises, something that might have occurred if we'd chosen a less thorough estimate. The final product appears excellent, and the re-design of the water flow seems to control water flow appropriately. There were no cost over runs, and we're totally satisfied with the work.

Russell and his company has always done a great job. This is the third job I hired them for and have always considered them the best at what they do. Everything was completed in a day and the new gutters are working great. Water no longer spills over the sides and collects along the house. I would highly recommend them to anyone and will be using them again in the future.

At first everything was OK but within a month or so the leak moved to another area not far from the original leak. Aaron came back a second time and applied more sealant. After the next heavy rain, however, there was still a leak. I called again and they sent another guy out to take a look. They came back one more time and sealed a larger area on the roof. That so far has seemed to do the trick as I haven't seen any water for several months now.

We scheduled Roof Solutions to give us an estimate. They were supposed to come out on June 9th, but they never showed up. When I called, they said their schedule said June 10th, but it can't have been June 10th because that's my birthday - there is just no way we would have scheduled a service call on my birthday.

The roof replacement itself went quickly and was done in one day. The problems started after. The estimate provided by Roof Solutions had a 3% fee that was disguised, so the overall cost for us went up quite substantially. This was unexpected, but I was willing to put up with it with the hope of a nice, new roof. But the worst happened after the roof installation. The guys from Roof solutions failed to check how the old gutters fit with the new roof, so every time it rained after the new roof was installed, it went directly into the house and we had flooding. It took us a few weeks to figure this out and call the Roof Solutions guys to come and check out the issue. They initially even wanted to charge us for the service to inspect and fix the gutters! Then, they sent out a guy who did something to the gutters, but the problem continued. It wasn't until the third time that the problem was fixed, and by that time we had already had to replace our kitchen window. Not to mention all the time and effort required to figure out the problem. I will not use these guys again, and really feel like they didn't care much about us as customers.

We were experiencing a leak in our kitchen that was caused by some area on the roof near the flashing that had come loose because of the sealant material.

My neighbor and I decided to cap the wall between us, which was for some reason falling apart in places and without the metal cap. I had two estimates. The other company wanted to replace my whole roof! Artem came out, said my roof was perfectly fine (did diagnose a "low spot", though) and said he could easily cap the wall between us. A quote was generated quickly, and my neighbor and I agreed on the proposal. The work was done perfectly. It did take several trips to complete, though, partially from employee illness, partially from weather, partially from longer-than-expected work here and elsewhere that is just the usual delay, I think (this is my only reason for a "B" on punctuality). Outside the work is why I would recommend Roof Solutions to anyone. Artem was incredibly friendly, professional, and patient. I'm a woman, and at the time was living alone with my husband deployed. I had to make all of these decisions on my own in our brand new house, so I asked A LOT of questions. Artem must have fielded a half dozen calls from me...and 5 times that many emails. Sometimes he re-explained things and even drew pictures. I couldn't have asked for anything better from him. I would absolutely use Artem and RS in the future.

The roof looks better. Seriously, we won't know until another wicked rain. But I am sure it is fine. They were prompt. completed the job quickly. They put plastic around house when tearing off old roof. My eagle eye kids found only one piece of trash. Good clean up. Provided financing. Responsive to concerns about a couple of places on the roof. AND NO HIGH PRESSURE SALES!! Thank you for that.

They were very punctual, and completed the project ahead of the predicted end date. Very professional, great communication. I was very pleased with the whole process, and I would definitely use them again.

Russell and his crew ware extremely professional, punctual and nice to deal with. They were easy to communicate with both by email and by phone. Their office manager Sandy was also a joy to work with. They provided a quote by the end of the same day they had come to take the measurements (other companies took three weeks!), and came in cheaper than all the other companies. They found the exact product that worked for our situation while other companies said what we wanted did not exist or could not be done. They came when they were supposed to, worked swiftly and neatly, and left with a smile. Throughout the whole process both Russell and his employee Aaron made sure that what we got was exactly what we wanted, even if that meant more work for them. We had many requirements about positioning, orientation, operability, etc. They met every single one of them without ever saying it could not be done. The result is absolutely gorgeous skylights, beautifully installed, which work to suit our lifestyle! I would give Roof Solution our business again any time, and will be recommending them to all our friends and neighbors.

This job proved easy. Roof Solutions answered my call about the matter most professionally, promptly scheduled a service call, came right on time for the call, and fixed the problem immediately. I would gladly work with them again, as I have before.

The roof leaked badly, the plywood sheets under the shingles were spongy, and the ridge vent pulled loose at one end. The previous roofer had failed to replace any of the original sheets or to discuss the need even though underroof starting failing within a few years when his crew removed the old shingles and replaced the shingles. The gutters were pulling away from the house but I planned to have that done separately from the roof replacement. The estimate covered the roof shingles and an amount for each plywood sheet replaced. The bill for the roof replacement agreed with my calculations for the complete replacement of the plywood sheets and new upgraded shingles. The estimate was in the range of a concurrent estimate and a previous estimate. After the work started, the estimator gave an estimate for replacing the fascia boards and new large capacity gutters. The estimate was acceptable, I had watched the work on the roof and was pleased with the workers' skill, and that work was done too. The work took three days only because heavy rains prevented any work on the second day. However, the new sheets and the covering of paper kept the house dry inside without the shingles being installed yet. The assigned crew was quite professional, and the chief kept on top of their work so it was done well.

The estimator was very thorough and gave me a very detailed estimate. They told me how much it would cost for a full roof replacement. Budget wise we could not afford it and he told me we have 1 more year on the roof. With the repairs he made we have another 6 months on the roof. We were very satisfied with their work.

Although I did not select this company, I was extremely pleased with their responsiveness and customer service. I elected to go with another company due to a coupon secured with a substantial discount. I would definitely refer them to anyone who asked. Jennifer was great with her follow up.

I called to schedule an appointment and call back the day of the appointment to cancel. Days after cancelling my appointment, I called back to reschedule the appointment to determine the problem(s). They came out exactly within the time window given and did the assessment. About a week later, I received an email with pictures and proposal attached. Sat on their findings for about a week or longer and then decided to call to schedule an appointment to have the work done. They arrived on time prepared to work, did the work and then explained what was done and went on their way. Weeks have past and still "water-free". I love the ending to my story! Thanks Roof Solutions! Anything over $1000 is a lot to pay but when you need something done and you want it done correctly, you'll pay and with my outcome, I am so glad I did business with them. Even at the quoted cost, I did not hesitate. At the quote given and considering a lot of things in hearing many scare stories about contractors, I strongly believe Roof Solutions price was very reasonable and the word done was satisfactory.

Just moved into a row house in DC and discovered the roof needed repairs. Roof Solutions, and their representative Artem, were first class. They fixed the roof on a timely basis, they stuck to their original quoted price and did an outstanding job. They were very thorough in their explanations and patient with my not understanding roof terms. :) Hopefully I won't need any repairs in the near future but if I do I would call them back. Roof Solutions did an amazing job replacing roof tiles that came off during Hurricane Sandy and seal around our fireplaces.
