He went over and above what was needed and required to make sure that everything was to our satisfaction. We were extremely pleased with the service we received and would not hesitate to utilize his service again.
Description of Work: I had a drain back up that flooded my basement. My Carpet Cleaner detached carpeting and removed padding. Used Hepa Filter to clean air of any airborne dust and particles. Re-install Floor Prep, flash patching of floor for new application of tack strip. Replaced padding and cleaned and De-odorized Carpet.

He worked with the insurance company and helped us find high quality contractors to do the duct work and floor refinishing. I had used Rich for carpet cleaning in the past, but he really stepped up when we had a crisis. I think he is terrific, with an outstanding work and service ethic. I give him my highest recommendation.
Description of Work: We had a flood from our dishwasher that damaged our hardwood floor, sub floor, water went to the basement.

He is work was satisfactory, he was on time and was courteous. I would use him again as the van does not leave a spot on my driveway again. His price was some what below others, he had good prices.

His rates are reasonable, he works quickly and he protects our furniture real well. He is known for going above and beyond what he is supposed to do; whether there is a stain or going underneath things. He offers advice on how to deal with our kitchen floor. We had a new floor put in a couple of years ago and he gave us information (unsolicited) and made a recommendation on what products to use and how to keep it clean; I really appreciated it.
Description of Work: We've used him for at least 10 years. He cleans our carpet and furniture. He also addressed a mold problem after a basement flood.

+ 0 moreIt turned out fabulous. He was extremely responsive and it was worth every penny. He was very meticulous in taking care of everything. He was focused on little details, explained everything that was going on and he told me why he was doing what he was doing; he made sure he wasn’t damaging anything. He was always on time, extremely polite and very courteous. It was a very good experience.
Description of Work: He did a cleaning of my family room. I really called him out because we had a water leak and there was going to be severe damage to the carpet if it wasn’t dried out. The padding underneath had to be taken out so he carefully lifted the carpet and removed the padding. He then had a special machine to dry the carpet. He had everything there to take care of it. He also used green products that were really great because they could kill the possibility of anything that was growing underneath the carpet during the process.

+ -1 morei looked in detail at a few angie's list carpet cleaning companies. i called my carpet cleaning service and had good discussion on phone and scheduled cleaning for monday, 9/10, 11-12. no one showed by 2pm. i called, no answer. left message, no response. i called another company and scheduled basement work for wed, 9/12. i did eventually get a phone message late in day with excuses, but i discarded. i would not risk waiting another day waiting for same company.
Description of Work: i wanted my basement carpet and stairs cleaned. also my master bedroom carpet and two chairs.

+ 2 moreI found My Carpet Cleaning Service, highly rated on Angie's List, and called for an estimate. Rich promptly returned my call, provided an estimate and set an appointment. We later exchanged emails to confirm the job. Rich arrived on time, quickly evaluated the work to be done against our original discussion and estimate, and got to work. He faced some serious challenges with some very old, dirty, greasy spots and stains, and he worked very hard for several hours. I expected would be a few spots that just wouldn't come out, but Rich wasn't satisfied until they were gone. There was no sense of him hurrying to get done. And unlike other carpet cleanings I've had over the years, no spots "reappeared" as the carpet and fabric dried. The carpet and upholstery dried clean, soft, and continued to look like new. The final cost was very close to the original estimate, and an excellent value. By the way, Rich gives a 5% discount for vacuuming before he gets there. What a deal! Finally, Rich is courteous and cheerful. He patiently and thoughtfully answered all my questions. It was a pleasure to have him work in our home. I highly recommend My Carpet Cleaning Service, and without any reservation.
Description of Work: Rich at My Carpet Cleaning Service did an OUTSTANDING job cleaning our family room carpet, plus a fabric sofa and 3 chairs. The beige carpet in our large family room had accumulated some deep dirt and stains (including food, juice, ink, markers, and pet stains) that wouldn't come out with usual cleaning methods including a home carpet shampooer. In addition, I recently acquired a used sofa in a light floral fabric that had great potential IF some serious grease and dirt spots (and the smell of years of smoking) could be removed. I wasn't sure they could be but it was worth a try. A recliner, and 2 wing chairs, with removable cushions and throw pillows, also needed to be cleaned. Rich also cleans tile grout, and he very effectively deep-cleaned the grout in floor of our half-bath. I was planning to regrout the tile, but I don't have to now. It looks great. Rich was extremely thorough and knowledgeable. He was determined to take care of even the worst spots on carpet and furniture. When he was done, it all looked like new, including that used sofa. I wish I could take a picture to show how bright the fabric looks. The chance I took paid off thanks to Rich's hard work and skill. We are getting ready to sell our house, and this room is now ready to show. Thank you, Angie's List, for helping me find an excellent service, and thank you, Rich, for your excellent work.

+ -1 moreRich ran a little late but it was because of a previous job that took longer and rush-hour traffiic. He was very conscientious about updating us and offering to reschedule. He did a great job-the animals had really trashed the carpet over the past year. He was kind enough to leave his big fans overnight to help dry the carpet, and just had us leave them on the back porch for him to pick up. We've had him out for the past 3 years, and it's been a great experience every time, he gives a lot of advice about how to try and avoid problems.
Description of Work: Basement carpets-off-white-were cleaned. It had been 1 year, and with 3 pets and 3 kids, iit was a tough job.
