My Carpet Cleaning & Restoration Service

I'm very pleased. Attention was paid to detail including a temporary curtain in the open door used for cleaning tubing (it was a very hot day). Furniture was moved where possible and replaced after cleaning using moisture blocking pads on the feet. Cleaning was thorough and quick. An old spot that I thought was permanent was completely removed.. Two stains on the berber carpet reappeared on the following day. Rich returned immediately to treat them. The deep stains had wicked out during drying. Problem solved!

It was great! I had a really tight deadline for getting everything done before an international move. Rich showed up on time and made sure that the rugs were clean, dry and packaged for my move. They turned out beautifully. He also arrived as the moving company was finishing up my packout to clean the carpets. He was very professional and quick and was able to work around the moving crew. When he noticed that I had a paint stain on the carpet that I had forgotten about (it was normally hidden by furniture) he was able to get it out. I thought is was a lost cause but now it is gone. I would highly recommend this company

Rich arrived when he said he would, explained every step of the process- including corner protections and a door seal, moved the furniture on sliding pads, put down protection for the hardwood, periodically showed me progress (he pulled a ton of dog hair out of the rug!), cleaned, treated and dried the rug in about 3 hours. Very pleasant to deal with. The rug looks clean and the fibers seems to have been given new life.

No one has better customer service than Rich! Great in response and scheduling. Gives great advise on carpet care but most importantly has great love for his craft and customers. I highly recommend him! FR

Hratch Gakavian, My Carpet Cleaning Service, goes above & beyond in everything his does. He is punctual, polite, friendly and he is extra helpful with moving and reaching items that the homeowner cannot manage. Nothing seems to be too much for him and his crew! Hratch does all this with a big smile on his face.

Rich came to give me a detailed estimate & an explanation of how he would clean my carpet & tile. On the agreed date, he came on time & thoroughly cleaned the areas above. A very good job. Very professional & courteous.

He showed up on time--I thought it was for an estimate but he was there to do the cleaning. It was the second time we've used his service. He is very personable and provided some good tips for keeping the carpets clean between visits. He was realistic about some areas that he knew wouldn't be able to be cleaned because of all the wear and tear the carpets have endured. But, he did his best and I appreciated his honest assessment. I also appreciated the bottle of carpet cleaner he left with us. It is a great product and I've used it a couple of times for some spills and find it to be much more effective than some of the store-bought products I've tried.

ServPro spilled lemon oil on my rug and my chair/ottoman. Rich, the owner of MCCS, is a miracle worker. After weeks of trying to get the oil out of my ottoman, he was successful and you cannot even see the area anymore. I never thought it would have come out. He's the BEST!

Rich was very responsive and impressed me with his knowledge of the various materials that could be used to get out different types of stains. The white carpeting in particular needed considerable work and he came back twice at no extra cost to do the multiple treatments that were necessary on some of the spots. He left the carpets looking beautiful; a much better result than I had expected.

We love this business, the owner, who performed the service, is a very caring, nice person and very good professional. he is very reliable and his advice is always welcome.

The second time I have used them. Everything was great. They prop up all furniture on styrafoam blocks to all for proper drying of the carpet. Will use again for sure.

The owner, Rich, was professional and instructive about his process and what we could do to maintain our carpets including our special handmade rugs that he did not clean. The severely soiled rug was cleaned and disinfected and looks fabulous. The lightly soiled rug is like new. I followed his instructions for the couch and it came out much better than I ever expected. I will use this company and I will recommend it whenever I can. The price was right for the level of service rendered. I would rather spend a bit more and get outstanding results and that is what happened.

I would recommend this company to my best friend without any hesitation. Rich is very professional, friendly and does GREAT work! I am super happy with the service the carpet cleaning, and the price was very fair, actually more than fair, because while I was in the basement doing work from home, he even cleaned a hall , and the entrance of three bedrooms we had not mentioned, at the same price! And he didn't even mention it like bragging, he just did it, and my Husband noticed when he went upstairs! I will be calling My Carpet Cleaning Service next time I need carpet cleaning. And now that I know they also do tile and grout.. etc.. I may be calling sooner than I expected.

My first experience was pretty good. They never called back so I used somebody else.

Mr.Hratch Gakavian was thorough, and took care in moving my furniture so he could properly clean it. He was polite and very friendly and willing to answer all of my questions. When I called him for a consultation, I told him I had tried to clean the stains myself by using two household products, and he was concerned that I had done this, and said he needed to come to my home to evaluate the problem. When I showed him what products I had used, he read the ingredients and said he felt it necessary to consult with a chemist to ensure he would use the proper products to clean my furniture so as to not further damage it. He did a wonderful job of cleaning my furniture. When he finished, he not only removed all of his supplies and drop cloths, he also cleaned and polished my hard wood floors in the two rooms where he had cleaned my furniture. This was a wonderful surprise. I highly recommend Mr. Gakavian for cleaning upholstery. He also does rug cleaning, and I was so impressed with his work on my upholstery, I plan on having him clean my rugs when it is time for them to be cleaned again. Highest marks for Mr. Gakavian. Rich was great! He came out for an estimate and scheduled the work right away. These are the cleanest my carpets have ever been! I've used other carpet cleaners in the past and Rich surpassed their work handily. He is very obviously interested in his work and goes about it in a professional and cheerful manner. He explains everything step by step and is very careful to protect walls/floors, etc. I will have Rich clean my carpets again in the future!

Our overall experience was very good. Mr. Gavakian responded in a timely manner. He was pleasant and polite when he came to pick up the rugs. The difference in these rugs after the cleaning was amazing. I have had these rugs cleaned in the past, but never with such good results. My only issue was the time it took to get them back, which was not excessive, but we would have liked them to come back a bit sooner. I will definitely use this provider again.

You've got to respect a guy who is honest enough to make recommendations against using his services. I called to ask for a quote for rug cleaning and after talking over the details with him decided that the cost was not worth it for the rug in question. I appreciate his honesty and will certainly use his company on the future for other carpet cleaning jobs.

He was polite, professional, timely. He treated my home and furnishings with respect and was kind to my dog. He was very careful of the impact his cleaning equipment and supplies had on my home and made efforts to minimize any harm. He cleaned-up all work areas. All surfaces were cleaned as requested and old stains worked-on diligently and removed. It has been a pleasure to deal with a contractor who not only knows his trade but respects the customer and the home entrusted to him. Clean furniture, clean carpeting, clean area rugs.....what a treat.

Rich was onsite and working within a matter of hours of our call, despite the snowstorm outside. He was extremely knowledgable and transparent in what he was doing. He demonstrated the extent of the water damage and proposed the course of action to dry the damage with the minimum of disruption. His team finished the job quickly and was professional throughout the engagement, working late to accommodate our schedules. I highly recommend his services to anyone - don't bother calling anyone else.

This man is a freakin' genius! Not to mention the nicest human being on earth. I found him through Angie's list and I could not have asked for more for my money. My upholstery is like new and I have a new brush to keep cat hair off my furniture and my visitors' backsides. Rich arrived on time, after calling ahead, of course. He did not gripe about my building not having a service elevator. He cheerfully made arrangements for his portable machine and used the general entrance. He gave a full consultation before beginning his work and then took over my living room! I have a very old microfiber sectional with cat stains that now looks remarkable. Although his work is spectacular - I am never calling anyone else to clean my carpets or upholstery or floors - it's his positive attitude and stellar customer service that really puts him above the rest. Goodbye Stanley Steamer and all you other imitators. I know a good thing when I see it and I'm sticking with Rich!
