Description of Work: Mold Gone came out and did a preliminary assessment of the lower level of my condo in an historic building, and charged me $50 because I asked them to write a report. They were prompt and thorough.

Description of Work: Mold Gone came out to assess a mold issue in my house providing guidance and recommendations for remediation. We they got here they said all the clean up I had performed was sufficient and they didn't need to recommend other services. These guys could have bid on work but they're honest assessment was a credit to the integrity if w this company!

Description of Work: After a water leak several months ago, Mold Gone opened up the ceiling to find small traces of mold. They then removed the damaged and replaced the damaged drywall, applying chemicals to mitigate any risk of mold. The process was easy and one in half of a day. They were very professional, straightforward, prompt, and efficient. They left the place clean and back to its original condition. Highly recommend.

Description of Work: I cannot say enough how satisfied I was with this company and their people. I have been having respiratory problems, but I was not sure if they were caused by mold. Doing research, I found lots of mold remediation companies that were a rip-off. I signed up for Angie's List to find a company that was not. Mold Gone was very up-front about what they were going to do and what they might find. They showed up with testing equipment and spent time explaining what they were going to do. A few days later, they presented me with an 18-page report that explained everything they found. They also provided further explanation when there were items in the report that I didn't understand. In the end, they concluded that I did *not* need mold remediation services. I am particularly impressed when a service provider says "Save your money. You don't need us." That's what they did. I would recommend this company to anyone.

He said that I did not need him to come and charge me $50, that it was something I could probably manage myself but that I should call back if I continued to have problems. I thought he was exceptionally helpful.

Description of Work: The technician came informed me to turn up dehumidifier and that would take care of the smell we had. He then came and found no mold problem. He took no money from us.

Description of Work: Jon Gordon....I can't say enough. I'd been in my home 6 months. It's an older home with a cellar. We'd had a lot if rain so far this summer. I went down to my cellar which has to be entered from the outside of this rancher. I had baskets that had literally grown wigs !!!!! And there were some unpacked cardboard boxes and a few other that had fur too !!! I was totally freaked. I joined Angie's List and began reading reviews on mold inspection, etc. I came upon Mold Gone ... Read some of the many reviews and gave them a try. I wasn't sure what I had! Jon Gordon always responded via email or phone. He was very personable, prompt , humbly confident , knowledgeable and Most Importantly, Honest. He answered all of my questions patiently. He did not charge me for this appt and put my mind at ease that a dehumidifier,which I had start using, should do the trick in this instance. He alsoade recommendations that were affordable solutions for my cleaning if the harmless mold. I was pleased .... Honesty is hard to come by these days. I almost felt compelled to pay him for the knowledge. Highly recommend..... although I've always been advised get 3 estimates. I relied heavily on the prior reviews.
