All went well though if I had it to do over again, I would have hired a company to do asbestos tile removal and mold remediation at the same time. I also thought they were, now that we are working with folks to do the asbestos tile removal and to have french drain put in, a bit more expensive than what the work called for. But, they were professional, prompt and even came back to re-spray and santize when I removed more damp carpet.

The inspection went well. He told us we didn't need a professional to handle the removal and gave us clear instructions on how to clean and prevent future mold. We really appreciated him being honest that we didn't need any unnecessary professional work done.

This is a great company. They are extremely responsive and flexible. The mold expert that came to my home was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. He arrived on time and was thorough with his inspection. They don't just try to get money from you, they are honest and trustworthy. I would recommend them to others. **hopefully** we won't be needing their services again!

The work was done over a couple of days. The team sealed off the basement, with plastic sheeting, from the rest of the house while they worked. They carefully removed affected drywall and appliances, treated surrounding surfaces, painted with a water resistant paint. For a small extra price, they installed some new drywall in some areas I requested, and reinstalled a couple of appliances.

I am so pleased I had MoldGone complete the inspection and remediation for mold. Mike responded promptly to a request for inspection and provided explanation and helpful information during this process. A plan and estimate for remediation was received very promptly after his visit. The work was scheduled and completed on time. The workers who completed the job were also very professional and courteous. I am very happy with the work performed. The many positive reviews on Angie's List prompted me to contact MoldGone. The company is so deserving of the many accolades provided by others and I am pleased to add mine.

MoldGone has mastered turning what is a stressful and somewhat traumatic experience into something positive. After a leak in our skylight caused mold and extensive water damage (discovered 8 days into living at our new home). We had to move into an AirBnB while we waited for estimates and treatment to begin. Mike from MoldGome came out exactly as scheduled, gave (what seemed to me) a thorough look at all the affected areas, and gave me an accurate assessment of the extent of the damage. The other companies wanted to effectively gut our bathrooms - where we would have been looking *at least* 30k for the remediation plus to rebuild everything. Mike was the only person who suggested opening up all the walls around the bathrooms to get to the mold, avoiding cutting into any tile (if possible - was hard to say without seeing behind the walls but he turned out to be right), and keeping the bathrooms otherwise intact. His solution treated all the mold and provided preventative measures for the future - while assuring us we would be 100% safe in our home again - and all at 1/3 of the cost. He followed up promptly with his written estimate, helped us attempt to work with our horrible insurance company, and was the only company that was not going to make us wait until the following week to start work. Mike also made himself available when my husband, who was not onsite for most of the work, had questions that were difficult for me to answer. When Kevin, Gustavo and Jose arrived, their professionalism and attention detail was unmatched. Kevin patiently answered question after question - after (and during) each day of the work he would walk me through all the areas and explain what they had found and what they had done/were going to do about it. He moved the giant heavy air scrubber (an annoying task) from the front window to the back window and then upstairs at my request and with a smile. I really cannot even begin to explain how good humored and patient he was with such a stressed and neurotic client. Over the course of the job, after opening a wall it turned out one of the water damaged areas had no mold and we avoided having to open up the ceiling, which saved several hundred dollars from the original estimate. They have a great Angie's List coupon and their pricing was competitive with the others I received, which did not include any reconstruction. During the course of the job, they found a large gap in our floors between the tile and the wall, and these guys took the time to fix the previous shoddy job and seal everything up with what basically had to be a tetris puzzle of plywood. Even to an untrained eye the work was clearly excellent and over and above what was probably minimally necessary for them to do to complete the job. On the last day, they left the house as clean as you could imagine - everything was vacuumed, every bit of trash was gone. It was so remarkable, I am not exaggerating when I say Gus was on his hands and knees wiping down all the floors with a rag. They suggested waiting to reinstall the toilet and sink until after the bathroom could be painted and offered to come back to do it for us then - to save us money on that end. Jose offered to tighten a loose bolt on our door for me - totally unrelated to the job. These guys are the definition of above and beyond. My only regret is that I missed when the owner came to check on the job on the last day because I would have liked to tell him personally how pleased I was. Once our bank account recovers from fully dealing with other damage from this skylight issue, I plan to use them again to waterproof our crawl space because they are outstanding.

I contacted MoldGone, LLC through Angie's List. The gentleman I was exchanging message with was so responsive and scheduled the visit so quickly, I didn't have to wait for days. The testing was done today as scheduled and he did not charge us anything. According to my siblings who were at the house when they visit, Mr. Jon Gordon was very professional, great customer service, knowledgeable, and he even advised us what the best thing to do with our mold issue. I would like to give MoldGone, LLC two thumbs up. We had a great experience with them. Thank you.

Moldgone was honest, reliable and reasonable. They are extremely responsive to customers questions. Hopefully I won't have to use them again, but if we ever did have a problem, I'd hire these guys.

Jon was great- he examined the problem areas and tested surrounding areas for moisture that could not easily be seen. He explained the remediation process very clearly to me and answered all questions. Jon emailed an estimate promptly and we agreed to a date his crew would come out and fix the issues. The crew (Kevin & Gus) came out on time, explained what they were going to do and went right to work. They were very courteous and kept a very clean work space, including cleaning behind themselves where they walked. MoldGone really did an excellent job and were extremely professional!

MoldGone came to the house to provide an estimate where they did a moisture reading and took a look at the mold on the concrete. Jon was amazing. Not only was he detailed in his descriptions of the problem, he took the time to answer all of my questions and facetime with my boyfriend to answer his questions. The moisture reading determined there was no mold behind the wall/base boards. Jon told us that it's unlikely there is any mold behind the walls and all we would need is to treat the concrete under the carpet where there was visible mold. He shared that some people cut the walls/base boards to check just in case but that it was not needed. We opted to check anyway (just to be safe). A Member of Jon's team (Kevin I think) came out to remediate the mold and sliced 2ft of wall and baseboards to check for mold in infected areas. Their work was excellent, clean-up was immaculate. Everyone was extremely helpful and professional. Would HIGHLY recommend using this company.

Mold Gone was easy to contact and very responsive. Their quote was very reasonable and were able to start the job within days of contacting them. They were very professional, clean, organized and did the job within the time frame quoted. Their communication is outstanding. I will keep them as my "go to" for mold remediation.

We bought a special deal where they could come and do an inspection. The guy explained everything to my husband. He recommended things that we could do with some of the furniture and antiques we had. Unfortunately, some of the pieces were not salvageable. Some pieces they recommended what we should do to help it and refinish it, so that was good. They gave us an idea as to what to do. I am not really sure how much it cost, but I thought it was a special that they had to come out and answer any questions. I thought it was reasonable. They provided us with a letter and the letter specifically stated what was good and what wasn't and what we could do and what they recommended. They took a little report and sent it back. I thought it was helpful. They came out and I have never had anybody else come out and tell us anything so how can I compare? They came out one time and gave the report. When he was there he definitely recommended this and that in his report and whatever his report was he then wrote it and emailed it to us. I think he was good. He did not show up on time. I think what happened was he got caught in traffic but he did call us and let us know. In that area he did show up within an hour of the appointment time. The traffic was bad and you can only do what you can do. I would call them up again for an evaluation, but we are no longer in the area.

Jon was on time and extremely knowledgeable on the subject. Through the visible inspection, he was able to calm my fears, teach me how to get rid of the allergenic mold, and what I should do to prevent future growth. He was able to give me enough tips to remedy the problem myself and not spend a lot to have a company do it.

Purchased a house with evidence of mold. While none of it appeared to be that bad, it was certainly an issue I wanted to resolve up front. I called MoldGone as they had the best reviews. Someone quickly came out to take a look, and we scheduled them shortly thereafter to remediate. A team of at least 6 were all at my house early on the day of the work, they sealed the problem areas, remediated the mold, and didn't leave a trace of mold or their operation. They replaced insulation in my crawl space, and sealed it from moisture. They did a fantastic job and I would certainly recommend them to anyone with mold issues.

Excellent all around. Could not have gone better. They replied to our query promptly, made an appointment in just a couple of days. Showed up on time, explained the work, did a very through inspection not only of the area in question but of the rest of the attic as well, and buttoned up/cleaned up upon completion. Very courteous and professional. They certified there was no mold and provided the inspection as a free service. We would absolutely go to them again for inspection and remediation services.
