Excellent, he was professional, knowledgeable, and kind. He did not try to upsell me any unnecessary services. I would highly recommend using them to anyone with potential mold problems. After his tests he sent a report on the air quality of our home and provided helpful recommendations.

This was a dream outcome. Jon Gordon, VP at MoldGone, responded immediately, arrived at the agreed time, and did a comprehensive inspection of all rooms, vents and crawl spaces. We'd had some previous water damage which we'd hoped was fixed. He checked these sites and confirmed that all were dry despite a soaking rain the previous day. He identified the mold on the storage room vent as being the result of condensation from the hvac and not growth in the vents themselves. He gave us preventive advice and followed up with a thorough written report. Having read and known of cases of mold remediation work costing in the thousands, it was such a relief to discover someone knowledgeable who could confirm that no further action was required. It was certainly the best money I have spent in a long time. I highly recommend this company.

Excellent experience. I was concerned about the possible presence of mold in the basement and other areas of my older home. Joe (President of MoldGone) took time to come by over the weekend to perform an inspection and address my questions and concerns. He provided guidance as to how I could address the concerns myself, and assured me that the problem was not the major issue I was making it out to be in my mind. He did not did try to sell me additional services or use scare tactics to generate business for himself. He seems very honest and knowledgeable, as other reviewers have indicated. Furthermore, as he was leaving, I realized I had not paid for the inspection. When I ran out to try and catch him, he would not accept payment. I don't typically write reviews, but I feel like I owe it to him in this case. Fortunately, I won't be needing remediation services right now (thanks to Joe's integrity and guidance). However, he would be the first person I'd call for any future problems or concerns.

I could not be happier with MoldGone. Jon came out to do an estimate and answered all of my questions immediately. I scheduled the work, and the night before, he emailed me with the name of the two team members who would be arriving at my house the following morning. They were punctual and incredibly polite. As their work began, the water damage was more extensive than expected, so they were unable to complete the whole project until I got another company in to repair the exterior damage. They completed the mold abatement and charged me for the completed work. I was to contact them when the exterior damage was repaired and they would come back and finish the job. The company doing the exterior work took longer than anticipated and damaged another wall, requiring additional drywall and trim repairwork. I contacted Jon and sent him a picture and he told me they could do the extra repairs for a very reasonable price. We scheduled a date, and once again, he emailed me with the name of the team members who would be showing up. They were wonderful and I couldn't be happier with the work. They noticed that I had been working to tear the carpet out of the newly repaired room and offered to finish the tear out and dispose of the carpet for me, which saved me a lot of time and effort. I have already recommended MoldGone to friends and while I hope to never again need their services, I know who I will be calling if I ever discover water damage in my home.

The vendor was upfront and honest with me regarding what needed to be done. The vendor saved me a lot of time and money, whereas a different vendor that provided the same service appeared to be taking advantage of my lack of knowledge in this area.

Even better, seeing that we did not need the service we thought we did, gave us great advice and guidance and did not try to rope us into costly services. MoldGone, owner Joe M., and his crew were the nicest, most professional group of professionals I have EVER worked with! Joe came quickly to give us an estimate and got started on the job as soon as he could ... within a few days. In addition to abating the mold, the spaces had to be reconstructed and Joe provided the team to do that. Their work was great and required very little oversight. The rooms now look like new. Don't hesitate to talk to Joe!

It was okay. I didn't like it too much because it wasn't very thorough. He didn't really address what I was concerned about. My interaction with them was okay. They really didn't do anything. I was concerned about the mold behind the drywall so I wanted him to look behind the drywall hoping he had a camera to look behind there. I remember I had told him about it before they came. He came but he didn't want to cut a hole on the drywall and look behind. He just checked if I have moisture which I wasn't concerned about. They should try to address the issue that the customer was concerned about.

We were very pleased with our initial consultation. I worked with Jon to schedule an appointment. The representative came out and met with my husband Shawn. He was knowledgeable and very professional. He looked at our space, answered all of my husbands questions and provided him with a list of things my husband could do on his own to help address our mold concerns. That let us know that it was not about the money but about really helping customers resolve their issues. For the tasks we cannot handle, we definitely plan on calling MoldGone. We feel much better knowing that there is a company we can trust to help us with these types of issues in the future.

I’m extremely impressed and pleased with MoldGone LLC. We’d first used them a few years ago when we were selling our townhouse. The home inspector found a bit of mold in the attic and we used MoldGone LLC to get rid of it. They did a great job then and when I noticed some white mold-looking flakes on some of the wood in the unfinished part of our basement they were the first people we contacted. Jon came out and did a comprehensive search and classified the type of mold (thankfully a type that causes mild allergens and not a more toxic type). Although he was willing to set up an appointment to professionally remove it, due to the nature of the mold and its location, he suggested a product I could use to remove it myself and a type of dehumidifier to prevent it from returning. He followed up later with an email with links to both products. I appreciated both his expertise in the issue (although I would expect that from any company that works in this field) but more so that he didn’t try to sell us a ~$1,000 cleaning solution when we can do it ourselves with a little time and $30 worth of cleaning materials. It would have been easy for him to play up the danger of the mold (and issue I don’t know much about) and push for a more expensive cleaning option. And, they didn't charge a penny for their visit. Obviously I hope that we won’t need their services for this type of issue again, but if something like this does come up we’ll definitely use them. I’d recommend them to anyone who has, or suspects they have, these issues.

Excellent, Jon was super friendly and professional. At every step of the way from scheduling to providing the test results MoldGone did exactly what they said when they said they would. A+ customer service and an excellent price too.

Everything went as expected. They sealed the room and used a fan to blow the air out. This made sure no mold and construction dust went to the rest of the house. Drywall was left in a ready to paint state. Painting was an extra cost, so I did it myself.

It went brilliantly. He was honest, he was thorough and didn't take the opportunity to charge me for something that wasn't necessary. He was awesome and gave great suggestions to address any needs that we had. He didn't want to just take my money. And I have had a hard time in finding people who are honest like that. He responded and did exactly what he said he was going to do and when he was running a little late he called immediately to let us know that he was running late, which was fine.

Jon was great and really responsive. In fact, he's still answering questions from me. We still need more work done at some point to put things back together, but removing all the moldy drywall and carpet from a plumbing leak went smoothly, and they didn't have to tear out quite as much as they initially thought so the final price was somewhat less than the estimate. There's one area of our house where we need to figure out how to prevent water coming in from outside before we complete the full remediation and reconstruction but so far things have gone smoothly. If you have a mold problem I would not hesitate to use this company.

They came out, assessed the issue and gave us a proposal. We hired them to perform the work and it turned out to be less complicated than originally envisioned. Since the work was less, they reduced our bill from the agreed upon price. They were timely, professional and communicated well. We would hire them again no question.

Mike inspected the bathroom visually and used a meter to measure whether any of the walls were wet. He concluded that there was no mold and nothing had to be done before replacing the drywall. I appreciated his honesty. Had he insisted there was mold, I would likely not have known the difference. And he didn't charge me anything at all.

The tech was very pleasant and explained everything he was looking for as he did it. He helped me understand what to look for and reassured me about some things that I thought were problem areas. He also helped me choose the correct service and didn't push me to purchase more than I needed. Overall, I was very happy.

Our experience went very well. All the staff were pleasant, respectful, and timely. Chris who gave us the estimate was patient in answering all my questions and explaining the process involved. The team that came to do the work were also very nice. The project went very well for us. They used an air scrubber and plastic to prevent mold from going throughout the house. They had offered to move furniture for us but we had decided to do that ourselves. They removed all the carpeting and padding (which in our case was necessary) and as little of the drywall and trim work as was necessary. All the carpeting and drywall were successfully removed through our tiny basement window, so that no moldy materials were carried through the main floor. We definitely appreciated that. They also worked very quickly and were finished much faster than expected. We would definitely recommend MoldGone and would also use the company again if the need arose.
