Paid for a consultation. Prompt arrival, very professional as I expected since I paid $125 for a consultation. Services would have left me with a unfinished basement and that was not the direction I wanted to go in. Price was high to me. Maybe reasonable to others.

Hire with confidence. These guys (especially Joe) are a class act. From the initial quote, estimate, and scheduling - I felt prioritized. They seriously do love mold LOL and will educate the homeowner in addition to providing recommendations. They do not upsell themselves and their suggestions on improvements to the moisture management of the home are not self-referrals whatsoever. They were thorough and incredibly detailed and provided practical, honest advice. My home did not need remediation although as a nervous potential homebuyer (they were assessing a home for purchase that I wanted to make sure did not have an ongoing moisture issue), their meticulous and deliberate walk-through taught me a ton about the property. Between the home inspector (Dennis Pelczysunki from Beltway Home Inspection) and Moldgone, I am a 10000% confident new homeowner. Money well spent all day for the education alone.

I have never worked with a more responsive, honest and knowledgable professional. After we emailed Jon an appointment request, he immediately responded, came to our home the next morning during the one-hour window he gave us (in fact, he even emailed us that morning to give us an exact time during that one-hour window!) and he inspected our carpet. While he found some mold, he said that it did not rise to the level of being a health risk, so he said that remediation was not necessary although he gave us a proposal just in case we still wanted to go forward. He also recommended other things that could help us prevent mold in the future. He did not charge us a penny for the inspection and absolutely did not push remediation (in fact, he basically steered us away from spending the money!). His honesty and professionalism was just incredible, and we will certainly turn to him if/when we have any mold problems in the future. I can't recommend him enough.

Kevin and Gustavo arrived on time and after another quick look around, immediately got to work. The job was finished in a few hours. The replaced drywall looked great, the work area was cleaned and everything that needed to be moved was stacked neatly. I was shown pictures of the various stages and was assured that the mold had not spread beyond the visible patches. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

It went really well. They are truly professionals. They tested and nothing was discovered. Very prompt and professional.

Jon examined numerous areas in the basement and said that nothing he observed was toxic, but rather was common in an older home with a history of occasional dampness issues. He did recommend that I use a mask when washing the areas in question, since the spores are allergens. Jon recommended that I continue to use a dehumidifier in the basement and said that draining it into the sump pit could increase its efficiency. He was professional, knowledgeable and personable and responded to all of my questions and concerns. I would call upon him again in the future, and I recommend his company to others.

I had a mold inspection done on my rental property and am so glad to have found MoldGone LLC through AngiesList. Jon, the VP of the company, was right on time and waited patiently with me for my tenants who were running late. He was very personable and knowledgeable in his field. He examined the walls/ceiling surrounding the suspected areas with a moisture meter and made a thorough inspection of the attic as well. He gave his opinion that all the areas were dry with no cause of concern for mold issues and I appreciated his honesty. I got a prompt report by email the next day with his professional analysis and recommendations. I give Jon and MoldGone an A+ rating and will certainly use them again and recommend them to all my friends.

Jon was outstanding. He was prompt, patient and professional. He told me I didn't have mold, but mineral deposits. He said it was something we could take care of on our own for cheap. I booked him based on other reviews about his honesty. I will be hiring him for an air test when I buy my new home.

Mike came out to assess the problem and gave me an idea of what had to be done, followed by a written plan for remediation. The guys who came out to do the work were always on time, the were professional, thorough and pleasant. My basement no longer smells musty or moldy.

They did a good job. They fixed the issue with the mold around the oven completely, and gave me some good tips on how to get rid of the other mold for free.

Worker was primpt, courteous and listened to the entire situation. He looked over the mold I see tío results and gave what sounded like a candid assessment of the scope of work needed, while addressing my concerns. I feel motivated to contact them in the future of work is needed.

Jon was personable, responsive, and honest - which is so incredibly refreshing. We had a miscommunication where the technician did not arrive for the appointment, I gave Jon a call to reschedule and he personally drove out to the house within the hour. After inspecting the area(s), he informed us the work could be done ourselves! Gave us the name of the products and where to find them, and extended his assistance if needed at a later date. As a VP, Jon's professionalism and integrity are a reflection of the business model of the company, and I would 100% recommend using MoldGone LLC.

Well overall. The workers were efficient, prompt and professional. They did most of what they said they would. Sorry to say, they did not close up the hole in the basement ceiling per contract. It seemed to have been an oversight, and we were also having our kitchen remodeled at the time, but I got no response when I tried to call them to please patch it up. Otherwise they were terrific.
