Description of Work: My basement had taken some water and the presence of Mold was noticeable, but not widespread. I asked for an estimate from Mold Gone and was very pleased with their professionalism and candid assessment of the problem. However, their proposal to fix it went too far (gloves, suits, etc. and an enclosed area in the basement) for a price of $4,000. I would have considered it if there were far more water. I eventually got the walls repaired and the rugs cleaned and the mold was not that involved--Under $1,000.

Description of Work: Inspected attic for mold which a termite inspector had said was present. Technician thoroughly inspected and said that attic showed no signs of damage and no reason for treatment. Saved us over $500.

Description of Work: Highly recommend, these guys are pros and not just out to scare up business like other remediation outfits. I have a minor mold problem (along with general filthiness) in the basement of a newly purchased house and after a thourough inspection that ruled out moisture/mold problems behind drywall, etc, Joe walked me through step by step how I could deal with the problem myself. How refreshing. I am going to rent an air scrubber from them but otherwise they provided 1) Peace of mind and 2) Saved me considerable dollars from hiring a full crew that would have been total overkill and unneeded. My takeaway - if you actually have a big dollar job these guys are honest to a fault, plus they definitely know their business.

Description of Work: I suspected that I had mold in my basement. I had air testing performed, one taken from the basement, one taken on the main level and one taken outdoors. It will take a few days for the results to return. Had two companies out for this testing (one paid for by the builder since it is a new home. Both individuals found some mold growing on several items in the basement and felt that the mold was due to high humidity in the basement and could be resolved by having a dehumidifier. They were both very professional and patient with me and all the questions/concerns I had. I would use their services again if I had another mold issue.

Description of Work: I wanted the Mold testing done at my mother's house as I had smelled it after AC was turned off for few days and windows were partially open. Jon Gordon came on time and did a thorough moisture and mold inspection. He found dryness in all the walls of the living space and saw no mold. He did note more moisture in the basement from the foundation - old house - but he advised that with the dehumidifier, it should be controlled. He did not exaggerate the problem to just get a big project. I appreciate his honesty and practical professionalism. Thank you.

Description of Work: Performed an inspection of the area and made recommendations for remediation. The area was small enough and we caught it early enough that we were able to follow his recommendations for remediation ourselves. The recommendations were straight forward and effective.

Description of Work: They removed mold for us and tore down a wall. They got rid of mold in the ceiling as well. This was due to water damage.
