We called them because of their great name and references. They called promptly and came within a day. I talked with George, and gave him general description of what we wanted. He initially said it would cost $500 but I also suggested that he bring some extra mulch and dirt and it turned out to be a bigger job. They had 4 guys worked for 9 hours straight. I encouraged them to use their own judgment as to what would look good, so they ended up doing a bit of landscaping so that a jungle looked more like a planned yard. They attempted to reach me at work several times to see if it was okay to go above the estimate, I was not reachable but I feel good they just did it, they were still under $900/$1000 which I thought was a good deal.

Company did not show up for scheduled estimate appt. or call to cancel. They did not return calls from me requesting a reschedule.

I pay 28 per time they come out. They were the best price out of anybody. They have done the gutter clean out for me also. They have always been very responsive.

Good price and service. Sometimes a bit delayed with spring-fall cleanups. Would recommend.

Masters of the Lawn was professional from beginning to end (phone conversations, estimate mailing, billing) and the service rendered was excellent for the price. We also hired them for bi-weekly lawn mowing, as they provided the most competitive estimate. I definitely recommend them.

They are very reasonable in comparison to other services we've used. They do a good job but the price is the most attractive thing about them. They are reliable and they come consistently on a regular basis without us having to contact them. Their lawn service is very good.

After my mower broke I decided it was time to investigate hiring a service instead of buying a new mower. Most of my neighbors have services these days. I called 6 different companies for quotes, including Masters of the Lawn who had left a flyer in my door. I was skeptical because I don't normally respond to this type of marketing, but the quotes I was receiving from the other companies were higher than I expected. I happened to be home when a friendly gentleman walked around the yard and wrote up a quote ticket and we had a brief conversation. He seemed to be professional and I was surprised that his quote was several dollars cheaper per mow than any of the other quotes I received. My wife called their office and they put us on their schedule for that week -- but it rained for three straight days (this was in May 2010) so they were delayed. When I called to talk to them the office manager rememberd her conversation with my wife and nicely explained how they work when the weather affects their schedule. They finally arrived later in an evening after I had returned from work, so I was home for their first mow. They spent a LONG time getting the yard in shape. The grass was long because I had not been able to mow it and due to the rain. They mowed and trimmed the entire perimeter and all walkways. It looked OUTSTANDING and I appreciated the fact that on the first mow session they got the yard in great shape to more easily maintain it in the future. Since then they have been coming regularly, once per week, for over a month. Each week they leave the lawn looking good as new.

They trimmed all our bushes, dug up all weeds, created circles of mulch around all bushes, trees and plantings, and eradicated all the poison ivy in the backyard.

MASTERS OF THE LAWN DOES EXCELLENT WORK AT AN EXCELLENT PRICE AND THEY ARE ALWAYS VERY PLEASANT TO DEAL WITH. I HAVE FOUND THEM TO BE VERY RESPONSIVE TO ANY REQUESTS, SUCH AS BAG CLIPPINGS, DON'T BAG CLIPPINGS, ETC. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THEM.
