Description of Work: They connected a new faucet in a bathroom. They looked at a leak under the kitchen sink, but because we are in line for a kitchen re-do we didn't have them do this. The reason to use them is because they are available on the weekends which is so helpful for working folks. The reason to hesitate is that their prices seem very high.

Description of Work: Plumber was very professional, knowledgeable and the price was fair. Only issue was the scheduler did not indicate that the appointment time was a "window". I had to call back twice the day of the appointment before getting this info.

Description of Work: This time it was an emergency hot water heater replacement, but both my daughter and I have used them for several other things. They come when called, meet schedules, and are pleasant to deal with. The only reason I gave this job a "B" on quality is because the city inspector didn't permit the work due to one thing not being done to code. It wasn't anything major, but since it wasn't correct in all respects, I held back on an "A" rating...though if you offered an "A-", I would give them that!

Description of Work: Len the Plumber clearly states on his web site the his company services Washington DC for sewer line work. When called on him to help with with my sewer line I was informed that Len's company excludes Washington DC of this service. What is Len's The Plumber problem with Washington Dc?

Description of Work: In 2012, we used the service to install a new garbage disposer. The plumber was prompt,courteous and did a very nice job. After that experience, I contacted the company in August of 2014 to replace an external faucet that was not working correctly. Unfortunately, the individual that came looked at the faucet, decided he'd have to do the job from the inside and that there was no way he could change the faucet from the outside. Since the pipes were very hard to reach in the basement, I decided not to use the service. I tackled the job myself, and after a few worried moments, was able to complete the removal and replacement from the outside. I just thought that this particular individual just didn't feel like working that day. However, I would still call them if I needed additional plumbing work that I felt uncomfortable doing myself.

Description of Work: I called Len the plumber at about 10:30 am in the morning on a Weds. & didn't receive service until Friday. Though add promises same day service if call before noon. They need a minimum of 4 hour window even with an appointment. They never showed up on Friday as scheduled. Called several times starting an hour after they were scheduled to come. They were not going to honor the appointment at all but I begged & insisted. They came late on a Friday afternoon. They said it would take 1 hr. To fix a small repair. It took < 15 mins. They charged me $299 even though the job was small, & they didn't do as advertised or even meet the scheduled appointment days later. Most unhappy with their service in many ways. Left trash at worksite too!

Description of Work: Project: Installation of a new gas water heater. The Plumber on site did not contact Washington Gas to have them turn of gas service at the meter. The plumber messed with a gas valve he no understanding of, and thus created a fail-safe situation that Washington Gas had to respond to, as an emergency situation and fix the valve. The Len the Plumber manager I talked with did not take responsibility and was dismissive.

Description of Work: Installed sink drain, I was so inpressed I had them repair my shower stall drain that had been leaking badly then lastly I had them install a chair height comode 10/22/13 I requested Brian S(not sure of the spelling of last name) each time and recomended him to my neighbor. Would definally use them again.
