Len The Plumber, LLC.

Late on a Sunday afternoon, we discovered that the laundry sink wasn't draining and water was also backing up in kitchen sink upstairs. A friend recommended Len the Plumber (the plumber we normally use does not have 24 hr. emergency service). They were not able to fit us in that day, but scheduled us for 9:00 the following day. The plumber arrived on time, was professional and friendly. He determined the problem and snaked the drain, which resolved the issue. Before he started the work, he explained the pricing for the service, which I accepted but thought was a bit high; I also had a coupon, which reduced the price $10. He also gave me estimates for two other services. He did a good job cleaning up afterwards - always appreciated. Overall, we are happy with the work performed.

Tech was on time. Install went smoothly. Don't like the fixed price for service took less then 1 hour. Very professional tech and we'll done

$282 for 45 minutes on the jobsite is a pretty good hourly rate ($376/hour). They claim that they don't charge by the hour...but by the job.....but won't give you an estimate on the phone. Hire pressure sales tactics. He strongly suggested letting him provide an inferior disposal (my conclusion) at an all in price of only $623. Went on to say that if we took his disposal we'd get a 4 year warranty, otherwise 30 day. (The disposal we furnished has a 4-year warranty) I'd recommend them to anyone that has too much money and doesn't care what things cost. I'd rather get ripped off by every other plumber....before I'd call them again.

He not only failed to show, but never called to say 1) he would not be able to make the stated time frame or 2) that he would be coming at all. I will never use this service again

Our regular plumber was out of town for the holidays and I did not want to be without a master shower for the long weekend so I thought I would try Len the Plumber. I went to their website and completed the online form. They called back within an hour and said someone would be out to the house later that day. A gentleman arrived within the window and was polite and friendly. He stopped at the door at put on shoe cover booties before coming in the house. I showed him the shower and he just took pictures of the dis functional temperature gauge (my husband took it apart earlier thinking he could fix the problem himself). He said he would send to someone back at the office and they would give him a price for the part shortly. He did no further inspection of the shower. He did a similar assessment of the basement leak. He explained in great detail what he said needed to be done. I asked him to write up a ticket with the pricing for both fixes with enough detail so my husband would know what he was proposing since he was not at home at the time. He did this and listed the cost for each which totaled almost $1,000. I was shocked at the expense, but could not effectively gauge the reasonableness of this estimate. I paid him the $50 fee to come out. After seeing the cost, we decided to wait for our regular plumber for a second opinion. Our regular plumber said we did not need a new part for the shower and that the current gauge just needed to be cleaned which he did and it worked. He also fixed leak in basement - charge for both $225!!!! I will never call Len the Plumber again unless I am in desperate need of a quick fix, regardless of the price.

We had sewer backup on a Sunday morning. Regular plumber did not respond to phone call. In mid morning, called Len the Plumber who promised to come in late afternoon. Plumber (Vik) arrived around 4:00 PM, removed the toilet, and attempted to snake the sewer lines. Unfortunately, due to the poor design of plumbing systems in Levitt homes, the plumber was unable to complete the task. The charge was quite reasonable including for removing the toilet and snaking the lines, including a sizable discount on the cleaning services and did not include any premium charges for Sunday services . He set up an appointment for the following day to make another attempt. Late Monday afternoon, he arrived for a second attempt, trying to access the sewer lines through another toilet. After working for over an hour, he concluded that he was unable to access the sewer lines through the toilets. The only other option was to cut holes in the walls in an attempt to locate the plumbing stack. On this occasion, he did not charge any additional fee, because he failed to clear the drain. Ultimately, I decided to contact another sewer cleaning service that was very familiar with the houses in my neighborhood. While the second plumber was successful in clearing the sewer, his fees were twice that of Len the Plumber. While the plumber from Len the Plumber was not successful, the failure was due to the absence of a plumbing design standard in my home. If the plumbing had been more in line with standard practices, I have no doubt that Len the plumber would have been successful and at significant lower costs than I had to pay

Work was excellent. Steve the plumber explained what needed to be done and gave a very reasonable price estimate. He came back the the next day and finished the job. Arrived early which was a real plus!

Overall, he fixed everything well, though he didn't suggest to nor fix the broken stopper in the sink, so that is still broken $500 later. It was almost $200 just to snake one of the drains. That seems exorbitant to me. He performed the work quickly, which was nice, but again I feel that it cost a lot for a little work/quick job. He didn't wear protective coverings on his boots, so he tracked mud on my carpet. He was responsive and cleaned the mud very well. Lastly, he threw a clorox wipe into the toilet and clogged it. He was already gone when I discovered that, but I am sure he would have fixed it if he were here. I just think it's silly that - of all people - a plumber would throw trash in a toilet. He was very helpful about advising us how to maintain our plumbing and deal with clogs without having to use a plumber, which I really appreciated. He was very nice and very responsive, but due to price, mud, and toilet, I will not use Len the Plumber again.

He arrived on time and did a thorough inspection of the job requests. After looking at both areas and what I asked to have done, he provided me with a thorough, written estimate. The estimate also included the cost if the job took longer than expected (using a special tool to blow out the drain). He completed the work in a timely manner and did a nice job. He left the workspaces clean once he was finished, demonstrated for me how each one worked, notified me of the warranty on the installation and suggested methods to keep my outdoor drain from backing up again.

Called on Labor Day Monday, they had someone here within 4 hours, and the plumber was courteous, polite, efficient and cleared the line in less than the time estimated. I would definitely recommend them and will use them again in the future!

He did a good job. I'm not sure the outside faucet needed to be replaced, it seems like the old one could have been fixed but he insisted on replacing it.

He just charged me an estimate fee.

The snaking of the drain worked and we are very thankful and satisfied. The technician was polite, knowledgeable and he called to let me know he was on his way and arrived within the time expected. I would use Len the Plumber again for any/all plumbing needs.

Long story - happy ending: On Sunday, June 2, I noticed water on the basement floor. I called and asked for an appointment for the next day and was told that someone would be at my house between 8 - 12. I took the day off from work. At 7:30 that morning, I got a call from Zack - there was a mixup with the dispatcher and no plumber would be available on that day. I scheduled for the following day when my wife my wife would have to take the day off from her job. I also emphasized to Zack, who was as frustrated and annoyed as I, that this situation was counter to all their advertising and was unacceptable. He "generously" assured me that $25 would be deducted from the repair bill (actually, I don't think it was - at least I see no evidence on the bill). Next day, Tuesday, June 4, Richard Martin showed up at the appointed time and proceeded to try to determine the source of the leak. Unfortunately, he focused on the basement bathroom and proceeded to cut 3 holes in the walls looking for the leak - found nothing. THEN he walked around the rest of the basement and indeed, across the hallway, in the furnace room, he found that a valve on the water heater was leaking. He quickly was able to repair it and departed. When I got home and heard this story, I immediately called the office and asked to talk to someone in charge - was connected to George (no last name given). I related the story to George - the business does not do drywall repair and he could provide no suggested names, but offered to cover the repair cost as well as the charge on the bill for making the holes. Thankfully, I had recently hired a painter who came that night and gave me an estimate. We arranged that he would come on Friday and he rapidly (and expertly) made the repairs. I called George in the afternoon and told him what I paid as well as the amount on the bill associated with making the holes. He said that I did not need to send him a receipt for the repairs and that he would send a check. I received a check for the agreed upon amount 6 business days later. So, yes, I will give them another chance.

The service provided was prompt in scheduling the service appointment. The technician (Frank Iper) arrived on time. He was very professional and courteous. We thought that the clog might be due to cat litter blocking the drain. Frank was able to solve the problem simply by using the plunger. In addition, he advised on the dangers of using harsh chemicals to unclog the drain. He also adjusted the water pressure for us. Overall, we were very satisfied with the service.

I would advise anyone that might use them in the future to make sure they get the work double-checked upon completion. I ended up spending more money to get the problem corrected after they finished the work.

I called Len the Plumber from an ad. I was able to get an appt the next day (Sat). Part of my backyard pipe burst, causing leaks whenever the water was turned on from the outside. The company kept me informed of delays with the plumber.The plumber arrived, explained the problem & all solutions then fixed the problem in under an hour (start to finish).

Their price was a bit high. They did call me back to get feedback about the service. When I rated them fairly low, they called me and we discussed it. They didn’t adjust the price, but I appreciate that they at least reached out to me. The work only took about five minutes, but at least the plumber was nice and respectful and did a good job. They told me that if I did use them again, they could give me a discount.

The service was good. The plumber did an excellent job. The cost was a little high but they needed to do some things so I wasn’t worried about it. He explained everything very clearly.

He was very good. We would use his services again in the future.

From the first phone call to the final call when they called me to be sure everything was still working fine, this company was a picture of perfection. I have absolutely nothing to correct about their entire operation. Each person we spoke with was intelligent, courteous and went above and beyond to be sure they were giving us the service we needed. When the service man came he actually parked in the numbered space I had mentioned to the dispatch girl. I had only mentioned it casually and was really impressed that she was paying that much attention and that she and he followed through on it. Not the kind of detail a lot of people are paying attention to these days. The service man was intelligent, polite, articulate, and did his work skillfully and totally neatly. He was great with my 2 German shepherds who wanted to play with all of his tools. After the service we had a follow up call from them to be sure we were satisfied, and when I had a question the next day I got 3 return calls to make sure it had been answered to my satisfaction. It had on the first call but you can't fault their diligence. This was the best service experience of any kind that I have had in years. Call them.

It was working great. He came in and cleaned it for a lot less than we have been charged to do it. We had a coupon for a discount and we forgot to give it to him because we were so intrigued with what he was doing. They were going to come back out with a scope and I am not sure if we are supposed to initiate that happening or if they were going to follow up and do the work. The only problem has been their follow up. They offer the same price on Sundays and holidays. We have recommended them to our neighbors and our community. They are phenomenal. He even let us know why we most likely have had this problem. I was really impressed.

Company corrected a scheduling issue and was very professional on all fronts. Product seems middle of the road. 80 gal HWT was rated at the highest for energy inefficiency compared to other models. Edgar (technician) was punctual, respectful and very competent. Worked quickly and with attention to detail. Very positive experience.

This is my mother's home which is being fixed up to go on the market and I have a 45-60 minute drive, depending on traffic and time of day from my home to get there. Had to call and ask why they didn't show up at the scheduled time on the initial appointment and was advised they could still came out but would be approximately 2 more hours (this was about 5 pm in the evening). I had been at the house the enitre day working and wanted to head back to my home. Had to reschedule appointment. This time they showed up on time, looked at my problems and gave me an estimate on the spot and they stated they could do the work right then and there. Thought the estimate was rather "high" but wanted to get this project done and didn't want to waste anymore time getting more estimates, so told them to proceed. Work took only about 2 hours to complete.

I tried to hook up the washer and the fixture started leaking. I called Len The Plumber and they were at my house within an hour. They worked fast, cleaned up after themselves and were very polite. They replaced both fixtures. They also replace the hoses on the washer. They didn't charge the trip fee and they offered to look at any other problems.
