Recently, we have been encountering regular flooding in spite of a clean main line. After three visits and $1,300, LEN The Plumber is happy to continue charging us but hasn't found the source of the issue. Asked to come for the fourth time to try and fix the issue, the administrative contact offered no apology, wouldn't even waive the $50 visit fee and, when reminded that LEN The Plumber offers 24/7 service, just lied about this simple fact blatantly: "No sir, we are not a 24/7 operation". Although the plumbers who visited us were courteous and were trying to help, I have to doubt their competence. I am above all extremely disappointed in how management is dealing with the situation. If you can't deal with complex issues and stand behind your work, you shouldn't be in this business. A waste of time and money for us.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! Paid ~$900 for this company to pull up a toilet, snake it, and put it back THEN 13 days later..same problem. Called for an EMERGENCY apt due to not only that toilet, but the whole house gurgling and slow and they did not show up for hours, THEN left because they could not find a parking spot.(who does that?!)Then the next day, they sent another technician who came in and then said his "hands were too big" to remove the toilet and then he left; job undone! They had no one else with smaller hands that could come out(how bizarre is this whole thing?! Too crazy to make up- I'm still floored by the details quite frankly) So That night our downstairs FLOODED!! Called them right away and they had "no one available!" I had to pay for another company to come out in the middle of the night and then a professional cleaning company to also come over at 3 am! Called Len the Plumber for days requesting to speak with a manager. They kept saying that they would call back. They didn't! Learn from what happened to me. Do NOT use this company! I have never dealt with a more unprofessional, negligent, untrustworthy group in my whole life.

Two guys came yesterday and they didn't seem to know where the leakage was coming from, so we showed them a moisture detector, and the guy came back today to check again, but still the leakage was not resolved and the where the leakage was not determined where it is coming from.

We decided to use Lens for a repair at our house in Maryland -- the outcome of this was a repair of one of two items we had originally listed, replacement of a faucet in one bathroom. Lens responded quickly and scheduling a visit was not a problem -- and the technician was friendly, but what we were charged for this work was disappointing. According to the bill, to install one Moen faucet -- this was an industrial type obtainable online or from supply stores for about $90 -- and replace the shutoff valves below -- was more than $700. This went down to $655 after a coupon was applied. On the invoice, the service technician had mixed together description of the work performed with the Moen with a noted cost of $515. The work had been done so we paid the bill, but as my wife and I looked at this we were increasingly uncomfortable with the original charge of $735. Total time for this job, which began at 9:40 AM, was 90 minutes or less. And as noted above, the faucet in question is an approximate $90 item at plumbing supply stores. We emailed Len, and saw that our email was received and read, but as of this writing have received no response. Based on what appears to be a very high cost for this job we doubt we will be using Len again based on pricing issue alone. And based on some poor ratings seen elsewhere here on Yelp, some of which mention high pricing, I cannot recommend Len the Plumber to anyone until the company takes an honest look at its prices. My concern also is that during the current COVID-19 crisis, companies may be price gouging because people may want work done more quickly.

Vinh from Len the Plumber was prompt, efficient, courteous, and the job was well done. Since it was Saturday emergency repair, there was a bit of a higher price but understandable. I appreciate that they were open.

I found a leaking 1/2" water line in my basement. I pulled away the drywall so that a repair could be easily made. A 4 " section of the pipe would have to be replaced. It would have taken 15 minutes tops to make the repair. Len the Plumber's estimate to make the repair was $450. There are brain surgeons that don't make that much per hour.

During bathroom renovation a water pipe behind the wall started to spray water from a split seam. I turned off the water to the house and contacted Len the Plumber, and two hours later Rodney Simmons arrived to replace the broken section of the pipe. The job took about one hour at a cost of $753. Given that this was an emergency the price seemed reasonable. I was very satisfied with the work Rodney did; he was calm and personable, and immediately knew what steps to take. I would definitely hire him again.

- two hours into my four hour appt window i called them to ask if i could get an estimate on when they would be there - the service agent was snooty on the phone and said a tech wasn’t scheduled and i would get a call. i then asked when the call came how soon that would be and the agent said 30 min. well i decided that i would put my phone in my pocket and pressure wash - turns out i couldn’t hear or feel the phone vibrate. so after i finished - close to the end of my “window” there was a voicemail from 30 min prior. I called the agent and she said they would have to reschedule. There was someone waiting at the door for the entire 4 hour window. this was a day wasted for them. I won’t ever call them again despite having a positive experience the first time (5 years ago). LTP is just too **** big now.

My kitchen faucet was leaking, so I called Len the Plumber. I opted to get a new faucet. They offered me two options, which I picked from a photo. I had to go out so I put my son in charge and I did not see the faucet directly, prior to installation. It was functional, but it was ugly. It did not fit into my kitchen. I paid over $820 for the faucet and installation. When I got home and saw that the faucet did not look good in my kitchen, I contacted Len the plumber. More than two weeks later, they finally responded to my request to discuss a switch-out of the faucet. But they said that there would be an additional, full charge on top of the outrageous price that they originally charged. They never told me, in advance, that there would be additional charges if it turned out that I did not want to live with a bad choice, an ugly faucet, for the next 15-20 years. So my problems with Len the Plumber are three: 1) Their prices are outrageously high for work that seem good, but not exceptional. 2) They took their good old time to finally respond to my request to change the faucet, then blamed me for the delay. 3) They did not tell me, in advance, that I had to live with any choices made from a photo or pay their outrageous prices all over again, if I was not satisfied. After the outrageous amount that I paid them, I expected them to work with me on a zero to minimal price, to switch out the faucets. That did not happen. I have been a fairly regular customer. I will NOT use Len the Plumber ever again! UPDATE: I contacted them, requested an alternative and wrote reviews for the fugly faucet they installed. They responded with the normal, "We're so concerned with your satisfaction..." blah, blah, blah and did NOTHING to remediate the situation, for all of their blather. Forget about ever hearing from them to correct the situation with which you are NOT satisfied!!

Simple clogged toilet. Guy wanted $1,100.00 to pull the toilet and snake the pipe. That wasn’t necessary, as I tried to explain to him. He did not want to try a plunger or simple auger. Charged me $49.00 for the call and let my dog out of the front door without telling me. Terrible experience. Don’t believe their advertisements.

It took the plummer less than an hour to finish (including his trip to home depot). They charged 10% ($45) for material (which was more like $5.00) and 10% ($45) for show up and $360 labor (for 1 hour). Totally overpriced, will never call len again.

We expected to get an estimate and have to wait a day or three for the work to get done. Instead John was there within a couple of hours, we had half an hour's notice he was on the way, and he had the whole job finished by mid-afternoon. It was a bigger job than we'd hoped, but we had suspicions more would be involved and John took the time to show us what was needed to make this a fix and not a patch. He was friendly, courteous, and efficient. Highest marks for the entire experience.

I should have read up on this. I only went with Len The Plumber bc they have a location in my neighborhood. The job was to clear 2 drains, one a tub (slow draining) and a sink (stopped). First they call at 7:20am, saying they will be there within the hour. I was psyched bc then I don't have to take more time off from work right? Wrong, the guy shows up at 9:05 saying he was stuck in traffic. I would have believed that but then remembered that THEY ARE LESS THAN ONE MILE FROM MY HOUSE. Anyway, the guy comes in and was like "$313..." to which I was mildly ok thinking that would be the price, maybe slightly more than I was expecting to pay. Then he says "FOR EACH DRAIN." They wanted $630 to fix 2 drains...less than an hours work ***, my alarms went off and then I searched the yelp review and found out how lousy and gouging they are. As i type this the guy is almost done with the first one (less than 15 minutes). I declined to be gouged and just had them fix the first one and will go with a better more reputable company. I asked him what he makes an hour and he says Len pays him $45 per hour... That means they just made a $270 profit off of me. To top it off, they didn't give me the discount they promised. AVOID THESE THIS TYPE OF GOUGING COMPANY. If you've read this much try this link to find out how much to pay and find a better plumber. homeadvisor.com/cost/plu…

I used Len the Plumber for the first time a week ago on January 5, 2019 and was overcharged for replacement of a garbage disposal that took just an hour. I asked for costs of product and labor upfront, and was told that those costs could not be separated. I was told that the costs for the garbage disposal and the PVC pipe and trap and the work would be approximately $1100, but got a reduction because there was a no-show the day before. Essentially the garbage disposal was approximately $500 and the other parts were $600 -- that's what I was told at the time of initial inspection before the work was done. Since then, I had a chance to review products and look at the end receipt and it appears Len the Plumber charged me $631 for a 2nd floor shower drain and had to "cut hole in ceiling below floor to gain access, replace existing shower drain with a new PVC pipe." I never had any shower work done! I talked to Bobby and Brad on January 11, 2019 and none of them offered to give me a refund, and I am certain they are aware that this $631 for services not rendered was charged. Neither of them offered to provide a break down of costs and labor, and Brad said his technician was there for 4 hours installing a garbage disposal. A master plumber! The tech arrived after 12:00 p.m., and was gone by 1:30. My sink was still leaking when he left.
