I need to have it checked out agin because it doesn't catch without some several attempts I thought 338.00 dollars was a bit pricey. Next time I will check to see waht pricing ranges there are

The technician showed up on time, however the technician that came out, was not the technician that i was told. The technician was courteous, friendly demeanor, cleaned up the area very well. I am very pleased, and will hire again. I am a bit troubled that Len the plumber did not respond to my email about the different tech coming out.

They never came back to finish the job and the manager refuses to answer his phone. An awful company.

Inspected under the house in crawl space. Advised us that work required a floor remodeling contractor. Paid $45.00 trip charge.

My experience was good. The price could have been a little bit more reasonable for what little they had to do.

1) Replaced hot water heater - Charged and paid $1,472 ... Work completed. 2) Installed shut off valve - Charged and paid $152 ... Work completed. 3) Flue liner - Charge and paid $1,500 ... 7 WEEKS LATER, I AM STILL WAITING FOR A TECHNICIAN TO INSTALL THE FLUE LINER. I have called and spoken with a few people. Each time, the receptionists say they will pass along the message to a manager, but no one follows up.

Everything went exceptionally well. This occured on a Sunday. The plumber was prompt, did a wonderful job repairing the pipe, and was very professional.

I would not hire again. And would not recommend them to anyone. In the end they admitted to overcharginging and refunded a significant portion of the bill.

Update of my Angie's List review, dated 10/18/2016, of work done by Len the Plumber in our condo apartment in Washington DC. On 2/14/2017, after much back and forth in correspondence with the Company, we achieved a final resolution of this matter, involving full compensation for replacement of the damaged vanity top. Brad Davis, Divisional Manager, Montgomery County, was instrumental in achieving this satisfactory result. His intervention, much appreciated, was principled and highly professional and succeeded in restoring a sense of fairness and accountability in the operations of the Company. We are fully satisfied with this outcome.

Pricey, though work was high quality.

Everything went well. Since my husband is the one who met them at home, I cannot speak to punctuality or professionalism; however, based on my husband's calling them additional times to do work, I'm guessing he is happy with them, too. I don't remember too well about the cost each time, but if memory serves me right, the kitchen faucet was $500+, including labor.

They did a good job but they are ridiculously expensive. I will never use them again because I don't have that kind of money.

It was okay. They fixed the problem. I told them I was going to buy a new toilet because we found out the toilet itself had a crack down it so we were going to buy another one. I would have had to purchase it obviously. I was half a mile away from where I was going to buy it. There was a chance for us to buy it from somewhere else but he was going to leave and that kind of stuff. It was a situation where it wasn't what I really wanted to do but the project got done. The cost was always going up and down with the price and all that stuff and all the haggling I had to go through to make it work wasn't too cool but it got done. I looked online while he was here. The part he put in was like $98 so the rest was labor or something. The interaction, we spent time going back and forth. Before he took the old toilet out, he said "Here's three or four different totals, it kind of depends on what I find", before he even took the toilet out. We did find out it was a crack but the crack wasn't significant enough to stop it from leaking but it could, over time, cause a problem. That's why I decided to just go on and replace it because it had been there a while. Then it was a matter of "depends on what I find". Well, what you find is a toilet, I mean, I've put toilets down. If the flanges are broke, that's a little but more, but it's not significantly more. We finally got it in and it wasn't quite as bad as he originally told me it could be so we sort of found it was somewhere in the middle of the quote he supplied. From that standpoint of view, I understand how business works. He had to tell me, he didn't want to give me any surprises. I had told him I didn't want any surprises. That's how we sort of got there. Like I said, after it was all said and done, when they charged me, they charged more than the actual price was because I could've got the same toilet for like $98 or something like that. Plumbing is such a crazy game. I've had people in here before to do plumbing work that's done shotty work and wanted to charge me lots of money. A lot of times people take advantage of folks because it's a job that people really don't want to do. Be a little bit more honest with folks about what you're trying to do. Seemed like they weren't quite honest as far as what they had to do. The work so far, is good. I don't have any complaints with the work. In my younger days, I've done this myself so I knew it couldn't be that bad. They were here when they said they were going to be here.

I've used them before. It's just this one time. I've used them three or four times, the last time, they didn't fix but they said they fixed.

There was one worker that came out and he was good. He had to run it three times. So no matter what it took, he fixed it. It was his perseverance.

We were charged more than double of what was quoted on. the phone. We do not feel this company is honest.

Fine. Technician did an excellent job.

Technician had trouble communicating and did not seem to know what to do. After examining faucet, he told us (and put it in writing) that faucet had been damaged upon installation and needed to be completely redone. He quoted a price of $1150 to do this. We paid the trip charge of $49 and sent him away. We then had a very highly rated plumber come to examine the faucet. He said the faucet had been perfectly installed, and only needed a bad cartridge to be replaced. Furthermore, the cartridge had a lifetime warranty so there was no charge for parts. He did the repair for $230.

Len The Plumber twice canceled day-of. The first time they canceled, my wife had taken a day off of work and the customer service did not call until 20-minutes before the close of the service window. The second time, they called and left a message on my phone stating that they would not be able to come to my home due to "other emergencies"; 3-days later, I got a call stating that I had been rescheduled, but nobody was at my home to meet the plumber (NOTE: I did not authorize a rescheduling, nor was I involved in the rescheduling). When the rescheduling was finally coordinated, I took the day off work and the plumber arrived 30-min late. When the plumber arrived, I discovered that he wasn't a plumber, instead, he was a drain clearing technician and was unable to perform the work required (important note: I had clearly articulated to both customer service and "dispatch" that my problem was a faulty shower valve - I never mentioned anything about a clogged drain). With this said, costumer service was always friendly and the "plumber" was pleasant and honest in stating that he was not qualified to perform the work required.

My outside sump pump pipe froze and burst during a recent ice storm. I was able to get it working again with a hair dryer but it was definitely a temporary solution. I called Len the plumber on a Saturday morning (like their commercials always say is ok). I was routed to a call center who gave me an appointment window. The window came and went and no one called me. I called back four times and each time i was told that the plumbers were behind schedule but someone would call me. Nope. I did finally receive a call Sunday morning and was rescheduled for Monday evening. I completely understand that ice was a factor on Saturday but no one was providing any additional information - like the fact that the plumbers weren't actually working. A plumber did show up on Monday. The first thing he asked was something like what's the problem - a backed up kitchen sink. Um..no! He looked at the burst pipe, told me he wasn't going to get pneumonia for my mistakes, and left. He offered no solutions or additional advice. My mistake! I'm not a plumber, I didn't install the sump pump pipes AND it passed inspection when I purchased the home a few months ago. Totally unprofessional and unhelpful.

I was very happy with the company's service. I called on Saturday at about 12:30 in the afternoon. They scheduled me for the 12:00–4:00 time slot, a plumber showed up at my door by about 2:00. I explained the problem, he asked a few questions, and then he got to work. It took almost an hour because it was a difficult clog, but he cleared it successfully and cleaned up everything. (I was glad he finished in less than an hour: the service was a flat rate of $300 plus extra for any time over an hour.) When he was showing me that he'd cleared the drain, he also noticed the low pressure on my kitchen faucet and fixed it on the spot!
