High quality service. Tom asked me what we needed. He came with his mobile truck. Fully equipped. Fast service.

The service was excellent. Tom arrived on time, had the necessary replacement with him, and was able to take care of the problem immediately. The new deadbolt feels sturdier than the previous one, and looks good. I'm happy with all aspects of this job, and will recommend him without reservation.

In our short conversation, I learned that Tom has been working in the field for 40 years, learned the profession from his grandfather, and has served the community in a number of ways, as a Marine and former rescue squad member. Tom came the same day I called about setting up an appointment. He quickly did the work and answered all my questions afterwards. He also provided a discount since we were in Silver Spring.

Punctual, professional, quick service. We asked the locksmith to look at another lock, and he could have repaired it (and charged us), but we are going to replace the door, so he suggested waiting until then. The locksmith also took the time to explain his repairs and how to prevent a recurrence of the problem.

Mr. Lucas quickly fixed my lock and provided me with helpful information. I found him to be dependable, knowledgeable, and quite the gentleman. I highly recommend him.

I emailed Tom from Angies list on Sunday expecting a reply on Monday but he got back to me almost immediately! We talked in detail Monday about what I wanted and Tom showed up as planned today. Tom is a real professional in that he is incredibly knowledgeable and experienced and knows his field. He works steadily and carefully and did a wonderful job. He had to drill a bigger hole in the door for the electronic push button lock (the most expensive piece in the job) and it looks wonderful. He took time to show me how to use it and gave me great advice. As good an experience as you can get!

I e-mailed the company on Sunday and they responded on Monday morning. The appointment was for Tuesday at 1pm and they called one hour advance to let me know they were on their way. They were on time and re-keyed the locks for one key.

Mr. Lucas was on time -- even a few minutes early. He did the work promptly and efficiently, in a pleasant and professional manner. I'd certainly use him again.

He was overall great. He was good at explaining things and was very knowledgeable.

Tom did a good job. The appointment was at 1pm and he called at 12:30pm to confirm he was on his way. When he got there, he got the work done quickly and was nice enough to make two keys for the new lock when he could have just done one. We would use Tom again in the future.

Tom showed up on time and got right to work...no issues at all. Made the appointment 90 minutes in advance and he fit me in without a word. The positive feedback on AL and his proximity to our location in Silver Spring made it an excellent fit. No corporate up charges or other nonsense; got it done, gave me two keys for each lock, and was done in 45 minutes. Would strongly recommend for residential or commercial services.

Evereything went according to plan. Tom showed up right on time and got the work done in a timely manner. He also made a few suggestions for other issues he noticed on the doors in the house. Overall was a good experience and I would definitely use him again.

Mr. Lucas was very punctual. I called him the day of for a lock change and needed my mom there to let him in as I was at work. He was incredibly understanding and was very punctual. I was late to the appointment and he was able to explain all the work he did in detail (to me a lock is a lock so this was very important). He also provided advice as to more securely set up our house as well as local contact information of vendors he has used in the past and trusts. We will absolutely use Mr. Lucas again and will take his security advice!

It went well. I thought I had a broken window frame or worst, since I could not lock it one day. They showed me the top window was not fully closed and prevented me from locking it.

It could not have been better and the guy went out of his way to help us. He was very very helpful and he was able to solve a unique problem with our locks. He was fantastic and his expertise was completely evident. He was just the type of service provider you would want.

When I called to schedule the appointment he was able to come out the following week to do the work. Tom completed the service in about 5 minutes. He is a good guy, talkative and a straight forward businessman. Tom will work with what you have and make suggestions for what you can do without upselling you.

Mr. Lucas was very responsive in setting up an appointment, and arrived a bit early to advise me on improving lock security for my front door. While my existing doors and hardware were not appropriate for his locksmith services, he gave me some security ideas that will be very helpful in better securing my home. He was very knowledgeable about locks and security and I won't hesitate in the future to call on his company if lock services are needed.

Tom was quite punctual, arriving several minutes ahead of schedule after calling 1 hour in advance to confirm the appointment. A consumate professional in both words and actions, he was cognizant and respectful of the newly refinished hardwood floors and took care to lay down a clean drop cloth to capture any dust and debris created in the work area. Tom's years of experience were evident in his work and in having all of the right tools and materials needed for the job readily available at his fingertips in his truck. He was efficient with his time which translated not only to the job getting completed correctly, but also to a very fair labor/time charge on the invoice. There were no extra, "surprise" charges or inflated timeframes. I would most certainly hire Tom again in the future for projects requiring his expertise.

From the time I first contacted him for a possible job at my house, Tom Lucas kept in touch with me to understand what I wanted done. On the date of appointment, he showed up 2 minutes before the set time, and performed all services as agreed to. For one of the knob replacements, he used a new set of knobs that I provided. I am satisfied with the quality of his work.

Tom Lucas was one of 3 locksmiths recommended to me. He (and I) is a former US Marine. He fit us into his schedule with one day notice. He was on-time. neat, reasonably priced, and interesting to talk to (he continued to work as he talked!). Will definitely use Tom again!

Mr. Lucas is very conscientious. I contacted him by e-mail requesting the service a week ahead. He responded with his availability and the cost for the work requested. He confirmed the appointment prior to the date and 30 minutes before his arrival. Mr. Lucas removed the cylinders on all of the doors to be rekeyed and promptly got to work removing and replacing the tumblers. During this time we had great conversations on a range of topics, not including politics (he is an astute person). He assisted me in fixing one door that was binding at no extra charge. To top it off, as he was leaving, he called me to make sure one of the locks was working properly be for he drove away. It turned out one lock was not working properly, and he immediately returned to fix the problem. Excellent service from a true professional. Highly recommended.
