Tom has great communication skills, letting me know when he was coming. He’s clear about his policies and pricing. He’s courteous and a pleasant person with whom to have conversation. There was one lock that could not be rekeyed due to the kind of lock it is. But he was able to do the others. I would not hesitate to recommend this locksmith to others. :-)

Mr. Lucas was very professional, as always. I like that he gives you a call on his way so you're not waiting all day. He furnished and installed locks on my double, front doors and mine were pretty old and rusty. They are beautiful and it didn't take him that long. I have used him for other repairs/installations, etc. and his prices are very reasonable compared to other locksmiths I've used in the past. He's my "to go to guy" and will not have anyone else do the work at my house.

An old dead-bolt was not locking properly and the key was stuck in the lock. K-W Locksmith arrived on time, explained what he could and could not do (the dead-bold is very old) to try to fix the lock, and went over what the repair would cost. After he got the key out and corrected the alignment of the bolt, he oiled the lock and made sure that everything was clean. I am very pleased with his work.

Tom was extremely professional and thorough. He knew exactly what the problem was and didn't try and convince me to do something that wasn't needed. He was able to make new keys that are better made than the hardware stores, and they worked perfectly. He also addressed other maintenance issues with the lock that will help it work better. Tom did an excellent job in my home. He knew exactly what needed to be done. He explained what he was doing and what adjustments were needed (not all could be re-keyed with the same key because we had two different brands of locks). He made sure my house was safe by ensuring the deadbolts would extend fully, which was not the case before and was something of which I was unaware. Tom did a great job: prompt, efficient, patient and expert. He has been doing this for a while, and it shows. Tom went the extra mile in troubleshooting a keypad lock I had inherited from a previous owner, despite having to wait a long time to get through to the manufacturer's help line. The cost was reasonable, too. I would recommend him highly.

Tom did a great job. I was having difficulty unlocking my doors and thought I needed new locks and deadbolts. Tom assessed the situation and determined that I simply needed to periodically lubricate the cylinders with WD-40. It had been over 10 years since the locks and deadbolts had been originally installed. Tom got the mechanisms working smoothly again and they now operate as good as new. I was impressed that Tom suggested this repair rather than simply installing all new hardware which is what I thought was needed. He deserves the highest marks for integrity and professionalism.

Very well. Tom was very thorough in our pre-visit planning so that he had everything with him that he would need for the job. He arrived on time and did an excellent job of replacing and re-keying our locks.

Service was excellent - Tom noted my current locks were not up to code (used a key to lock from inside) so he replaced them and rekeyed 5 locks. My front door was not hung properly so he rehung it so locks would work smoothly. He lubricated locks and made sure everything was in good working order. He worked efficiently and cleanly (he's a real gentleman).

Tom was a pleasure to do business with. He was very specific about his expectations when coming for the job and confirmed with me twice before the day he was to arrive. Tom called to confirm an hour before the agreed-upon time, and he showed up as expected. He removed the old hardware, and installed plates on the front and rear with new knobs.
