They did a free "home assessment" and made several recommendations for improving the plumbing in our home. This was obviously a way to strum up more business, but they were right about several things and did not pressure us to do the work immediately.

They couldn't fix the dishwasher because it was the dishwasher that was the problem. With the pipe, they were able to fix the pipe and put a better valve on it and told me how to shut it off and on. they were excellent and very neat. They were very good at showing up on time and everything.

John drove out to our house, inspected our entire sump pump system, gave us a diagnosis and a number of ways we could eventually have it fixed. We were thrilled.

As noted, they were right on time, explained everything clearly and fairly, and did the work (from all indications) wonderfully well!

Toilet leaking onto floor grout for several months. Called JH Peterson and they came within 3 days and pulled the toilet and fixed the leaking seal, which was over 20 years old. Repairman was extremely professional and knowledgeable. I have and will continue to use them again and again.

The plumber was very attentive to our needs and courteous. Wore shoe covers when entering home. Returned and serviced our problem at no additional costs.

We interviewed several plumbers, some of which told us the job couldn't even be done. These plumbers were responsive, fast (work done in about 2 days), and did an excellent job. They were expensive, but worth it.

The man seemed very professional. Their prices seemed to be somewhat out of line. He proposed that the water heater needed to be replaced-fair enough-and proposed to charge 1700 dollars to do that. I thought it seemed rather high; I saw the price of the device plus installation and it was only around 800 dollars. So we haven't had that work done. He did fix the leak he came to fix but I felt that that price was a little expensive was well.

Service technician arrived when scheduled. Was extremely pleasant and professional. Finished the job very quickly and efficiently. We'll definitely call JH Peterson again when we have any plumbing problems!

We called for a plumber on Thursday, and on Monday afternoon (despite the fact that we were told that they were very backed up) the plumbers were at the premises to fix the problem. The plumbers were fast, efficient and courteous. We were told that it would take about an hour to fix the problem, and within 45 minutes the work was done and the plumbers cleaned up after themselves. It was a very pleasant experience.

Currently, we reside in Canada and rent out our home in Mo Co. We called JH Peterson after we got a recommendation. They worked with us, explained the problem in great detail over the phone and advised us of the cost to repair and if necessary, repair and replace the tank. We were able to pay for the repair over the phone with our credit card. The plumber followed up with a written report of the job that was done and an invoice for our records. He also included photos that he took of the repair job - before and after photos. That was way and above the "call of duty" but nice to get when you are 3000 miles away from your home. I felt right from the onset that this company was honest and forthright, and I wasn't disappointed. I was thrilled with the work and would not hesitate to use them again.

Mr. Blue was responsible and intelligent and performed all the work without mess or bother. Since I left after he completed one task I do not know how long it took. All of the work that I can test (not the thermostat since it's mid-June and we don't have central air) is excellent. I have confidence that if I need to follow up, they will be here.

We had the same service rep for both repairs and he was courteous, explained everything he was doing, showed up on time, explained the bill (which matched the estimate), and accurately estimated the time the jobs would take. We are very happy with Peterson Plumbing. We are having them come back again to fix one more thing (hopefully the last).

We were very impressed by the quality of the work carried out by the company's representative. He was courteous, conscientious, and persevered to complete a job that took much longer than it would have done normally due to the supplier sending incomplete parts. After finishing the work, he took care to clean the bathroom sink area to a clean condition. The final visit was actually rescheduled as the plumber was delayed on another job. The office called to inform us, and then scheduled the new visit for 2 days later, and first thing in the morning, to be sure that we would not miss them again.

The repair was performed promptly. When the service person discovered a different leak around the tap that repair was fixed too at no extra charge.

From the moment I called in a panic, Anne in the office was incredibly helpful. She was able to pinpoint the likely source of our trouble and offered to schedule an emergency visit for us, even though this was the busy Christmas-to-New-Year's corridor, and her staff was booked solid. She even recommended other plumbers I could call in case they could service us more quickly, and she called after the work to see how it went. Jim arrived on schedule and was courteous, informative, and professional. While he was there, he pointed out several other deficiencies in the bathroom which we had not noticed. He also removed the ruined light fixture from our kitchen ceiling. Unfortunately, he was unable to fix the wiring or the ceiling (not his job), so we will need to employ an electrician and drywall contractor. This company was a bright spot in an otherwise incredibly stressful first night as homeowners, and I would recommend them without reservation to anyone in the area.

We called a couple of plumbing companies from Angie's List, and we agreed to have Peterson's service come by, for an agreed on weekend emergency fee of $200.00 in addition to the cost of the plumbing. The plumber on call told us over the phone we'd expect him in an hour, but it took nearly 2 hours for him to get there. The work was completed fine, and the plumber did not make a mess, but this was not a pleasant experience for us in general. He was extremely chatty, like we were his Saturday entertainment. He droned on with his stories about other clients; goodness knows what stories he would tell about us later, and as a result, the work took twice as long as it should have. We had spoken to a different plumber that morning who'd politely told us he didn't do DC calls, but that the snaking shouldn't cost much more than $100. For just the snaking, we paid, can you believe this: $310!!! Then add the emergency fee and some bio-clean drain cleaner. We were shocked. But were stuck.

They got there on time, which was pretty quickly after we called them. They were professional and did an overall good job, but were expensive. It also took them a while to get the job done. I would recommend them even though they are high in terms of price.

I was very happy with the entire experience. When I set up the appointment, the receptionist asked for my e-mail address, so she could send a confirmation message and a picture of the plumber who would be coming to the house. When Brian arrived, he put on shoe covers every time he came inside. He ran the water in the kitchen sink for a few minutes, to determine whether or not the drain needed to be snaked. Thankfully, it didn't. Brian initially thought the p-trap would need to be removed, cleaned, and re-installed. In reality, it needed to be replaced. The pricing for the job didn't change from the initial estimate, despite this change. The cost of the work done shown above includes the purchase of a 1-year service plan, the discount on service that comes with that plan, and the Angie's List $25 discount. Without the discounts or the service plan, it would have been $224.00.

It was fine. I was very impressed with them. It was the first time I used them and they came that day. I thought the price was fair. They were courteous, prompt, and the guy even cleaned up.

See above. I was very impressed with his honesty, he could have replaced the faucet and cost me plenty of money, but instead it was a simple call with his advice solving the problem.

JH Peterson was able to get someone out within an hour of when I called (7:30 am) and they had it fixed by 9:30 am. They price by the job rather than by the hour, and I think it was a little expensive compared to how much it would have cost by the hour from another company (it took about 30 minutes of work) but having it done so quickly was worth the extra expense. Most other plumbers I called weren't even able to come out today. The portion of drain he replaced is warrantied for a year. He seemed to do a very good job and kept the area quite clean. I'm very satisfied with the experience. Oh, I should also mention that the office staff was extremely pleasant and cheerful, they were a delight.

THEY ARE AN EXCELLENT SMALL COMPANY. THEIR PEOPLE ARE VERY GOOD, VERY CUSTOMER ORIENTED & VERY RESPONSIVE. THEY GO ABOVE AND BEYOND TO TAKE CARE OF THE CUSTOMER.
