Excellent Carpet Cleaning

They did exactly what we hired them for - to do a thorough job of cleaning carpets that had been regularly vacuumed but not professionally cleaned in several years. The carpets were not very dirty, but we do have three cats, so a good deep cleaning was needed. They also cleaned the ceramic tile floors, including dirty grout on the kitchen floors. Because it's the kitchen, we've found that even with a good cleaning, it's not long before the grout gets stained and dark again. My experience has shown that grout sealers don't help. We'll have to get the floors done more frequently. Excellent Carpet Cleaning also gives up front estimates, and I think the price was fair for the time they spent here.

Movingout of a rental, our landlady required us to use Excellent Carpet Cleaning. While the floors weren?t too dirty, they did a decent job, although not much you can do from previous stains. However, I don?t think their prices are competitive?We paid something like $600 to clean a house (with cheap carpets), largely due to their per price per foot charges (they measure scrupulously) and the high charges for stairwells. To their credit, they initially overcharged me, then noticed their error and sent me a few hundred dollars back in the mail.

Two carpets were picked up, cleaned and delivered. It took a few days longer than expected due to recent big deal but they were very accommodating with delivery time. Great pride in their work and even helped me put the rug back in place. Very pleased with the cleaning and the experience.

I was extremely pleased with everything about this company. The owner took my call and I explained what I wanted done. He discussed the three levels of pricing but did not pressure me trying to upsell to the most expensive plan. I ended up going with the platinum package because I thought the pricing was reasonable. They were scheduled to arrive between 9AM-10AM and showed up at 9:30AM. Junior who did the work was courteous and did a very thorough job. Our carpets look great and they were able to get out some old stains that I didn't think was possible. This was a great service experience and I fully recommend using this company.

The professional cleaning was excellent and I was very pleased that they cleaned and repaired a very old set of Tibetan rugs including putting on new backs and edge binding. A bit pricy, but superb work on older Oriental carpets. The problem I faced and have been unable to resolve is that I am not sure where the $219 I paid to Angie's list was applied. The final invoice listed $219 as a credit and then at end of bill the same amount was listed as a debit. In other words the two $219 figures cancelled out as if I had paid them directly. BUT I paid the $219 to Angie's list not to Excellent Carpet, so I received no credit for the $219 I paid initially. We have exchanged messages several times, but no resolution. This has been frustrating.

The service turned out great. They came out a day or two after the Big Deal. They were very fast scheduling and picking up the rugs. They did not charge me anything in addition to the Big Deal cost. The scheduling was great. They did what they said they would and did it well. They had great follow-up. They delivered and spread out the rugs for us. We were very happy with the service. The Big Deal was spectacular.

Excellent Carpet Care provided great service. They were professional and responsive. The carpet was picked up and delivered to my house which was really nice. The carpet was clean and I would definitely use them again.

I am very happy with the deal and the service. They picked the rugs up from my front porch and then returned them at a time that was convenient for me (and carried them inside). I gave them a B for "responsiveness" because they did not tell me when the rugs would be returned and I had to call the office two times before I got an answer back. But everyone I spoke with was very nice and polite to deal with and I would definitely use them again. They said it would take about 14 days for the cleaning, and it took a day or two longer than that, which was fine with me, but I felt they should have contacted me to let me know when to expect the rugs. That said, it is expensive to clean rugs, and I think they took good care with my two favorites and they look and feel very clean.

They were very good and everything but the one thing was that they had a leaking machine. It leaked and it was on the lower level and when I went down and caught it, it was a good thing that I did because the whole lower level was pretty much flooded because it was just one room and a foyer. The carpet was cleaned well so that was not a problem. It was just a matter of equipment and hopefully they corrected that. The people that did my move out cleaning said to me, "Hey, have you used this excellent carpet cleaning company?" So, I went ahead and switched to them. The cleaning was very good overall but that piece of equipment was a little bit of an issue and I got that issue resolved. I went down and mopped it up and it was fine. They were very nice and that was not an issue. I cannot remember the cost of the service but it was a reasonable price for sure. Other than the equipment, they did a great job. They should maintain their equipment but they were on time. Because of the equipment, I would probably use someone else in the future but I probably should not judge the whole company just on that one machine so I do not know but there was a fair amount of water on the lower level of my house.

They did a good job! They were reliable and came when they said they were going to come. I thought it was pricey but it turned out to be worth it. I don't live in the area any longer so there's no way I could use their services again.

They were good. The price was pretty reasonable and it was a nice price. They were nice, they came and they were punctual. They did a very good job. However, they did some spotting of the carpet but they did not get the spots out of my stairs. The same spots are reappearing so they were not able to remove them.

The guy who did it was named Bobby and he did the best I've ever had with cleaning the carpet. It was a fantastic job. We thought their price was fair. We had a lot of workers for redoing bathrooms and everything so the carpet was in pretty bad shape. He did a beautiful job. We decided to go with them because I looked at several ones on your list and these people were willing to send somebody out free of charge to give us ideas about it, what was needed and give us an estimate and that was really the reason and of course they got all these A's. Overall, I would give them A or an A+ if there was such a thing. If I have to have it cleaned again, it would certainly be them.

Carpets cleaning went so well we hired them for the housecleaning. House is being sold. Looks great!!

They showed up on time, completed the cleaning within a reasonable time (1 1/2 hrs. at most), and did a good job! I'm planning on calling and scheduling a follow-up cleaning this month.

Basement carpet looks and smells good as new. In the Den carpet, he cleaned high traffic area that we were sure was too badly ground in, but he got it cleaner that we ever expected. Job was thorough, professional, and reasonable.

Excellent Carpet Cleaning replied to our inquiry within a few hours, and gave an estimate on the phone that turned out to be right on target for carpet cleaning and stretching. They came out two days later, which was faster than we expected, and much appreciated. The cleaning was done by some magical machine in their truck, which was connected by a long hose to the cleaning unit itself in our house. Most amazingly, there was almost no odor during the process, and none at all afterward. The carpet that we cleaned looked new; the carpet that they stretched looked better than the day it was installed. We recommend them highly. We decided not to have them clean the sofa, as their price for cleaning (~$500) was about a quarter of what we later paid to replace it -- a better deal for us: new leather sofa vs. 25-year-old dingy fabric sofa. YMMV, of course.

Professionally Clean large den carpet and 2-levels of stairs - they performed an extra service for pet urine odor. Left behind by a guest cat. The cleaning techs were on time, friendly and professional. They got to the job and didn't stop until the carpet was done. They wore shoe covers and did an excellent job. One of the techs told me they may need to come out again to retreat the odor but suggested that I waited a few days so see if odor surfaced again. I did just that and I did have to call for a second treatment. One of the same techs came out and was the same efficient, tech that I saw before. He took about an hour to retreat the odor spots and that 2nd treatment did the trick! I was not charged for the extra treatment and so I must express my appreciation and amazement by the exceptional service I received. I will definitely call them again! We did receive a customer service call by a very friendly service rep after each appointment - Excellent Carpet Service gets a five star rating from our family! The carpets look a lot cleaner than I could have done using a vacuum. The pads have been very helpful and doing a better job of holding it in place. They were able to deliver the rugs back to us in a timely manner. There were at least two people that were hard at work and it took about 2 hours to complete everything.

I contacted the company for an Estimate for upholstery cleaning on 6 dining room chairs. They responded quickly by phone. I was surprised to discover that the web site says $25 per dining chair with 2 cushions, but they have a minimum charge of $175 to come out. They did try to up-sell me on fabric protection (which I didn't need) and I questioned the salesperson about any additional charges when the technician arrives. I am not certain if I will purchase services from this company. I understand having a minimum service charge to go out/on-site.

The guys that did the stretching of the carpet did an excellent job. The carpet cleaners did do a good job and were very polite and professional to talk with over the phone.

They have maintained my white carpet that I've had for over 10 years, which can be a challenge. But Excellent always restores and revives it to almost original like condition. I have been a client for 7 years and will continue to use them in the future.
