Description of Work: Our carpet is 6 years old. We own and use a Bissell ProHeat Deep Carpet Cleaner. It's great for occasional spots, but after 6 years, there are just some spots the home carpet cleaner can't get out. Particularly in a family room that is right off the deck where the family dog likes to spend most of his time. It was time to call in the professionals. I chose Excellent Carpet Cleaners because of the positive reviews I saw on Angie's list and the fact that they had a dozen positive recent reviews within 5 miles of my house (Rockville). The appointment was scheduled for this morning between 9 and 10, but I received a call at 8:00 saying that the technician was ready if I wanted to start early, which worked out great for me. I showed the technician, Raphael, what I needed cleaned. I told him I wanted all the furniture in the family room moved and the entire carpet cleaned, but for the bedrooms, he could simply clean around the beds, armoires, and dressers. He spent 10 minutes taking detailed measurements to make sure I was charged for only the areas that were cleaned (i.e. he subtracted the square footage for beds, dressers, etc.). He then showed me the costs and explained the 3 pricing plans (Silver, Gold, and Platinum). The plans are priced per square foot and vary in cleaning products, pre-treatment, and protective post-treatment. I chose the most expensive (Platinum) because of the protective treatment. In total, Raphael cleaned 4 bedrooms, a hallway, a flight of stairs, the family room, three wool oriental runners, and one floor rug in the living room. The price was $577.50, but then he subtracted $35 for the Angie's List coupon, making the final total $542.50. If I had gone with the Gold package it would have been a little less than $500 and if I had gone with the Silver package it would have been a little over $400. The whole process was done in about 3 hours. I was blown away by the results. The carpets looked beautiful and all the stains are gone. Coffee stains on stairs...gone. Mud stains from dog...gone. Black soot stains near the fireplace....gone. And keep in mind that these stains did not come out when I tried to clean them myself using our Bissell ProHeat Carpet Cleaner. My only regret is that I didn't ask him to do the upholstery on the dining room chairs or a love seat in the living room. We will certainly have them back for upholstery and carpets in the basement in the near future. Highly recommend!!!

Description of Work: Excellent job. Service person, Khalil, was very courteous and listened to my carpet cleaning needs. The steam extraction service was an eye opener. Not sprayed liquid like others, but a real steam extraction system that worked beautifully. Well-traveled rug became almost new. I was very impressed by the quality of the cleaning. I expected the rugs to be wet afterwards but they were only a bit moist. They were dry in less then 2 hrs. Would hire them again.

Description of Work: We had 3 sofas and 6 chairs cleaned, along with two rooms of carpeting and 5 throw rugs. The company came out at about 9 a.m. and stayed until 7 at night. The work they did from prep to finish was fantastic.

Description of Work: The team that arrived was fantastic. They prepared by knowing all the vents and areas to be cleaned and covered my carpet with protective covers. They showed me the state of my ducts using their flexi camera (boy did this work need to be done!). They did not take a break, even for lunch until the job was done. They were good people and excellent duct cleaners!

Even arranging the cleaning was easy as I told then the day, the date was scheduled without fuss even though I (and it was me) couldn't get back to them by telephone and make the arrangements by email.
