Description of Work: They arrived on time, and the representative was knowledgeable. He cleaned the chimney and left no mess. He told me, as I already knew, that the damper was broken. I contracted to have a new damper put in and they did the work promptly and, it seems, effectively.

Description of Work: Chimney.com failed to show up during the time window it set. I had to call it to figure out what went wrong. Staff did not call me proactively. They told me repeatedly they would call me back to reschedule but never did. They said they were "busy," as if that excused poor customer service. | |I prepaid for the service thru Angie's List, so there is no for Chimney.com's failure to call me to let me know the technician was running late or calling me to attempt to reschedule. I am sure they will try to blame me, but that is Chimney.com's problem, it overbooks and then blames the customer.

Description of Work: I can't give lower grades since I don't know what is normally done. I paid for cleaning and inspection and since he said it was clean, it wasn't cleaned. It didn't seem like a thorough inspection since it is a very high stack and he just took a look up from the fireplaces. Estimate given to repair for over $2000 for two. Seems high for what he showed me from looking up from the fireplace. He was hours late for the appointment.
