They were good! I'm still waiting on one part that has taken awhile but it was a bigger project than expected and they had to order a part that is taking time to receive. They are very good about staying in communication with me however. Their pricing has been fair and they've not charged me service fees for each time they've had to return. It is now 3 months later and I am still waiting for the part and they are not being responsive at this point. They will not return my calls or let me know where the part is. I have been without a fireplace in my basement for 6 months now.

They were great. They were right on time and did it on very short order. They came out the same day so I could have a fire for the Holidays. He inspected the chimney and gave me some really helpful information. He was most informative.

They did a good job. They were very honest, we had gotten another estimate from another company, but this company was honest about what needed to be done and the prices were very good.

I was given a 8 - 10am time slot and the crew arrived at 10:30. So, I can't say that they were very punctual, BUT I can say that they were very polite. The job was done in 10 minutes with no mess or fuss.

I took the day off of work to make this appointment. I did not hear anything from the company until 5 pm. They told me they were on another job and they could possibly get to me that day, but it would be later on in the evening. This did not work for me as I had a prior appointment later that evening. I called on July 21, 2008 to speak to the owner to express my disappointment with their lack of customer service and he never returned my phone call.

Their price was reasonable and they picked up a problem where carbon monoxide was coming out of the heating system vent which they were able to fix. They also let me know that everything else was in fine shape. I was very pleased with the company.

They were very pleasant. We went for three estimates. Jimney's had the identical evaluation, but they were a little cheaper. The guys were professional and the analysis was right on.

The estimator came in and took less than a minute to shine a flashlight in each chimney. He immediately began with "Who installed these liners?" "What a bad installation job". "They didn't know what they were doing". He said liners in both chimneys needed replacing (even though one had no water problem) and the job would cost about $2400.

They did good job and I would use them again.

It took about a week for Jim to come and do the initial inspection. He gave us the same scope of work for an estimated price that was $600 less than another estimate. He indicated that we had a potential safety problem and that the repair should be done right away. We were able to schedule them to come back the next day and complete the work. We were very satisfied with our experience.

It was great. They came out for an estimate and were able to come out the next day for the repair. When they quoted me a price that was more than some other companies, they didn't hesitated to negotiate with me and offered the same as the other guys. They explained what they were going to do and completed the job in the time stated. The office staff was very friendly and efficient.

I called last week to set up an appointment. I took a half day off work to be home because they needed a 3 hr window to come and give me an estimate. (12:30-3:30). Around 1 someone called me to ask if I could stay later because they might not be able to get here on time I told them I had other obligations in the afternoon and was assured they would be here within the time allotted. By 3:30 I called again and this time I was told that the operator was unable to get a hold of the team. I canceled my late afternoon obligations to stay late. It is now 4:45 nobody is answering the phone at the company, and nobody has let me know weather to expect someone. Needless to say at this point I would not use this company even if their estimate was the most competitive.

They were very professional and they actually faxed me over an estimate of $3800. They wanted to go into the wall of the basement and then into the closet. No one else I called wanted to do that. I just did not want anyone tearing out the closet like that so I decided not to go with them this time.

The company never responded to my request.

Jimmy Mayo was wonderful. He came over to the house early in the morning and evaluated the situation. He recommended what needed to be done. I had called another Chimney Sweet company (also very highly regarded on Angie's List), however, their estimate exactly corresponded with Jimney's estimate, except for one big difference, they believed the fireplace chimney needed complete relining, which would have added another $1000 to the cost! In addition, they charged me $59.00 to evaluate. I trusted Jimmy Mayo and had him verify the extent of the work. On Saturday morning, right on time, Austin and a helper showed up. Within three hours they were done! Great job. Very pleased. I highly recommend Jimney's. Jimmy Mayo is very impressive.

My experience with Jimney's Chimneys was great. I called on a Monday. Scheduled the estimate for the next day. The owner, Jimmy, conducted the estimate himself. He explained everything in detail and was very helpful. I called the office later that day to schedule a time for the work to be done and they came out the next day. Jimmy said they typically have a lead time of a week but they had an unexpected cancellation. They did arrive 30 minutes late but I was able to go to work while they completed the job which took most of the day. They cleaned up well and walked me through the repairs and the new damper system. The workers were polite and professional. As far as price, they were comparable with the other estimates I received but some of the other estimates said I needed more work done and Jimmy did not agree. I also had a colleague who used this company and could not recommend them enough. We have used the fireplace since and it works wonderfully.

Disappointed that they didn't say can't come because of distance or whatever in the beginning!!

This was a very good experience. Team of Andrew and Jose were courteous, clean, knowledgeable and quick. They also arrived ahead of schedule and called to check if that was okay. They clearly explained the guts of the chimney to me as a first-time homeowner. They recommended additional, more expensive work for which we will seek a second opinion and competitive estimates.

THEY EXPLAINED THE ISSUES THOROUGHLY, AND WORKED WITH US ON THE PRICE. THEY DID A GOOD JOB, WORKING QUICKLY AND EFFICIENTLY, CLEANING UP AFTER THEMSELVES AS THEY WENT.
