Very well. On time and the work was first rate.

We made the appointment way ahead of time, but they never called or showed up after I had taken off from work to meet them. There was no inclement weather or other reason for not showing up, calling before or any time after.

The work was completed quickly and efficiently for a reasonable price.

He was informative, friendly and professional. He called when he was on the way to let me know when he would arrive, and he arrived on time. I would definitely use his services again.

I gave the sp three dates. And they responded back with the wrong account. Two emails and muiltple calls later (I was on hold on 10 mins) I was still not able to get a time set up. The person that they have working on Saturday's said that he hasn't been trained on Angie's list yet. I think that if a company has a problem getting a date set up, I am afraid to think of what they would do to my chimney

I purchased a chimney deal on Angie's list. Scheduling was very easy. The technician arrived as scheduled. Technician was very professional. He did not try to up-sell us. He did an excellent job cleaning and inspecting the job. There were repairs needed. The technician provided a quote for the work. No pressure to commit to the additional work. We will likely use them again.

The technician was very punctual and curteous. He did a thorough inspection of the fireplace and gave us an inspection report with tips for ongoing maintenance of the fireplace. We felt we received good service at a very reasonable price. We had some follow up questions for the vendor and they were very prompt in their response. Their after-sales service truly surprised us as we have never seen such prompt and responsive after-sales service from any vendor we have dealt with.

Service was clean, efficient and prompt. Tim, the technician, clearly explained my 100+ year old chimney's technology, condition and what to keep in mind for the furture. Unlike some companies, who use scare tactics to up-sell business, Tim left me feeling confident, better informed and up-to-date on my home maintenance. Now, if anyone asks for a recommendation for their fireplace or chimney needs, Chimny.com will be first on my list.

Tim Owen inspected my fireplace and taught me how to turn the gas on/off every winter, the failsafe points, and inspected the fireplace switches and blower. He noted that the blower would not power on because it was not wired with electricity and told me to approximate cost of wiring. One con was that the Chimney.com receptionist said that I would be given a free quote for any repairs and did not mention an inspection fee of $95. I didn't mind paying because Tim was thorough and explained the existing issues with our fireplace and made recommendations of how to move forward, so this was not his fault. However, to the owners--tell your receptionists to be up-front with any inspection costs or dispatch fees. It makes the company look bad if you say it is a "free quote" and then ask for money in person.

I purchased the Big Deal for $119.00 and scheduled an appointment with Chimney.com. I took the day off of work and no one arrived for the appointment. I called the company and was told that all of my information was in their system however the appointment was not confirmed. I rescheduled the appointment for a Saturday (I couldn't take another day off of work) about a month in advance. I called to confirm the appointment on two separate occasions, once a week before and once the day before. 10 minutes before my appointment I received a call stating that the tech would not be coming due to car trouble and no one else could come to the appointment. They offered to reschedule and I contacted Angie's List for a refund.

After Capitol Chimney serviced my fireplace, my gas logs did not work properly. I had Chimney.com come out to cap off the propane line, since the burner had been damaged by the previous provider. Technician was courteous, prompt & efficient. Much better than my experience with that other chimney company.

Called to get a quote and date set technician showed up on time and did a thorough inspection of chimney and gave us a quote for repair work in addition spent a reasonable time explaining problem and repair work requirements. New 612 cap with in time frame given.

The technician was very polite and efficient. After he left, we discovered that the fireplace did not turn on every time the switch was flipped. He came back a few days later and traced the problem to a magnetic switch which was being impeded by dirt and rust. He fixed the problem and showed us how to fix the issue if it ever recurred. We haves had no problems since and can unhesitatingly highly recommend Chemney.com.

Quick service, friendly representative, showed me how to open and close the flue on the fireplace at my new house. Put tarps down, was in and out and didn't leave a mess for me to clean up.

They were unable to clean our chimney because they couldn't figure out how to remove the vent for the flue.

Polite & personable young man made an efficient survey of chimney. Offered options for care, and cleaned flue in a short visit.

At the chimney inspection, we were told that we needed two refractory panels replaced in our fireplace. When the next person came back to do that work, he said that the inspector had missed cracks in another refractory panel so the workman had to leave to get more panels. (At least he found the other crack.) Then in the process of cutting the panels, the workman broke one and so had to leave again to get another panel. The job ended up taking many more hours than expected.

Excellent. They honored price quoted even though job required scaffolding to reach 50' above ground. Completed job with minimum damage to slate roof.

The technician needed to replace an old dormer in order to clean my chimney. Instead of rescheduling he came back later that same day and worked until 9 or 10 PM on New Years Eve! I was blown away by the outstanding customer service and commitment to excellence by the technician. I wish I could remember his name. I won't use anyone else for my chimney cleaning needs in the future. Thanks.

we made an appointment and the serice provider was a no show. I had to call him to find out that his service vehical was not working and they attempted to reschedual me next week. I felt like I was not importantant enough to get a heads up on their trouble. I canceled the deal and got a refund on the services
