Never received service. Would like refund. Send several emails and left a phone message; very poor follow up, so I would not want to engage this contractor for fear he would not follow-through on job.

This deal is very misleading. Should say up to 300 square feet of floor sanding because that is all they were willing to honor. Definitely not a $1500 value.

I bought this deal to refinish my hardwood kitchen. The Service provider was suppose to come at 3:00 PM. He called me around 4:30 and told me he will be late by 30 minutes. But he arrived at my place around 7:30 PM. I did not realize that the service I bought was just for the estimate and not for the actual work. When I received the quote, I was shocked.......

It did not go well at all. They did not do what they said they would do. I do not want a company like that to make money off of false advertising.

They did a very good job and it looks beautiful. They were available pretty soon after I called them. There was difficulty because it was around the holidays but he got in touch with me and got back at me and we re-organized everything. They charged me more than $49 that was on the big deal. I ended up paying $500. They all charge the same amount instead of the promotion and the flooring is bigger. The estimate is almost the same from the other companies I checked. This happens a lot with deals. It’s a bargain if you use exactly that amount but then you have to add it then go into the pricing. I felt that it was being not switched. It’s just that I have another room and I had the floor repaired. It just ended up with other things added into it which was what they hoped for. It was my choice and I thought about it. I think they did a good work, they completed it and it was beautiful. The pric e was nothing excessive.

They removed furniture, sanded, sealed, and polyed the floor and then moved back furniture professionally.

They now take credit cards (they didn't initially). I have used them again to put a new floor in another room.

They said they would need to do the corridor and the next room. They wanted to charge me more, I believe this is false advertising. So I'm having this deal refunded.

I purchased a coupon from Angie's List for this provider. They initially worked on both my upstairs and downstairs floors. I noticed some discrepencies in the work between upstairs and downstairs, they came back and with no additional charge reworked the downstairs with no charge. I appreciate them finishing the work to my satisfaction.

They came out, we asked them to let us know how much it would be to do more than what the offer allowed (we've done this with Angie List interior painting deal that worked great). They promised to get us a price and we've not heard back from them. The least they could have done was let us know they were not interested in our project..

it went very well. they finished the job in 2 days. very quick. very clean. very polite. The only thing was they didnt remove the molding and place new molding because they said I had high end molding. I allowed them to keep the old one but they didnt remove the charge of $90 for the "new molding". They said that there was already big discount. I then see a deal for the same work for 500 a month later.

Came and did an estimate for the floor. It was a good deal. Diego Grajales and Jose Ramierz gave me details and a description of the time and process to do the job. Very happy! 3/14/14 Update - It has been very very difficult to get them to complete the work by putting my rugs and carpet back in place. They have rescheduled numerous times and a month later, I still have furniture out of place waiting for them to move it back into place. I have changed the grades from straight A's to what they presently are.

I felt the advetised "offer/ deal" was not true. It should have been advertised as an estimate or service fee for the visit. Not as ""Hardwood Floor refinishing, up to 100 sq ft." This review does not allow for a "WORK NOT DONE". It asks me to list where the work was done, but it was not done.

I had hopes that they would be able to do a small section of flooring. Diago was my contact, he and another gentleman arrived and explained that to do just a small section would not be possible because it would make the appearance of the hardwood flooring uneven. They were very knowledgeable about their profession. They basically gave me an inservice on refinishing and repairing hardwood floors and it was very informative. They did give me an estimate which was at this time way beyond my budget. No pressure on their part to do the job. They understood it was more than I was willing to spend at this time but they were hopeful that I would call them when the time was right. And I probably will. After their visit I started to check about pricing for refinishing floors and they are within normal limits maybe a tad bit on the higher end. But their conversation and willingness to explain the process led me to believe they were very experienced in their craft. They told me that they were going to make arrangements to refund my $49 and I assume that will happen.

Caly was responsive and scheduled an "estimate" appointment promptly. The deal was 300 sq ft of refinishing for $499. This is a kitchen and measures exactly 300 sq ft. The estimate came to $1,950 with all discounts applied. The "add-ons", not mentioned in the fine print were onerous if not ridiculous. They also charge for stain $825. How does refinishing NOT include stain...

Diego and Jose were very good at following up with me even though I was out of the country. When I came back, we set up an appointment and they arrived the next day. They were very courteous and communicated what could and couldn't be done, effectively. We may do business in the future (installing new hardwood) but we cannot use the big deal as my floors cannot be refinished (the layer at the top is not enough to sand).

I was able to find another contractor to do the refinishing if just the one room and it looks great- they were able to match the color almost perfectly and it definitely does not look strange as it transitions from the room into the hallway.

I bought an Angie's List coupon. When they came for an estimate, they said their policy would not permit them to refinish the kitchen floor without also doing the adjoining but separate bathroom. We agreed to disagree and said I should seek a refund of the coupon. Their price including the coupon came to more than another provider without one.

Caly was very responsive. Job was scheduled but their machine broke down. Another re-scheduled due to delay in parts shipped due to holiday. We decide not to perform the job - potential smell of refinish coatings. Caly was very responsive and immediately offered to refund our money. We will fill out a review shortly. Thanks.

Lead Manager Diego Grajales, did an outstanding job in assessing my home, giving me an on the spot estimate and include the Angie's Discount. He fully explained exactly what needed to be done, how long it would take, what stages would be first and explained safety precautions to ensure the beauty of my floor. His workers are very good and work non-tiring to persistently and diligently complete the job at the best outcome. Before the start, they seal the entire area to prevent 98% of any dust from leaving the work site, which protects your home. After sanding, staining, buffing and sealing, they let you know to keep your thermostat up to 75%, so the wood dries out completely before walking on it. They even advised not to place any carpets on the sealed floor for 6 weeks to ensure the seal has cured and hardened. It looks better now than when I first bought my house!

I purchased the big deal floor refinishing for a small foyer area, no more than 100 square feet, to have a polyurethane coat applied to the area to match the sheen of the hard wood floor installed on the same floor. The company gave an estimate of $1,120.00 to do this small area, making the big deal valueless. This estimate included $60.00 to remove a toilet, which was totally unnecessary and $160.00 to move furniture. The company was not asked to move any furniture and the furniture would take anyone 2 minutes to move.

I had bought the package for $49 for 100 SQ ft of hardwood finish. The actual footage was around 130 ft. However, the estimate I received for the task was around $450 which includes many line items such as furniture removal etc. Though, there is no furniture to remove since it the hallway. The deal was indeed too good to be true. The lesson I have learned from Angie's list is that never buy any offer in future if it darn cheap.

Was very disappointed that I could not get a response from the company. I had previously purchased a deal with another vendor and had not a problem. I was able to contact them immediately.
