They did an excellent job on the hardwood floors. I had them come back for maintanence on my deck. I see a couple of boards are starting to buckle where they did nails instead of screws. But their pricing was excellent. The owner of the company responded to my questions and his workers were efficient.

The price was good. I am now seeing a couple of issues on the deck. I have not yet called the owner back but he was solicitive. I would have preferred them to have used screws instead of nails. I would use them again. I am now more experienced on what they should use. Other providers wanted $5000 so it was a good deal.

There were lots of extra costs that I did not anticipate, so decided not to use the service. Got a prompt, no hassel refund from AL, which was appreciated.

Hi, the provider representative came to home, looked at the floors and we determined that the floor did not need sanding and refinishing, and that i didn't want to change the color and re-stain, which were part of the deal. There was also additional costs associated with the deal and therefore we determined that we did not need this service. Every deal has extra costs, there is not a deal that you get where you don't have to pay something above and beyond the deal. This deal no matter what you did, you had to re-stain and pay for re-staining and that should have been explicitly detailed in the big deal and it was not.

The amount of resurfacing that they would do for the price ended up being a very small area of flooring in a room and when I was quoted the price for the entire room, it was very dramatic, several thousand dollars, so that actually didn’t work out and I’m going to refund it.

They did an amazing job on the floors - were prompt professional, and true experts. Our floors look amazing and was completed at a great price!

It went really well. They did a great job. I liked there was no dust and they covered everything. The smell was kept down and it wasn’t overwhelming. Scheduling was easy. The machine was broken on the first day so they came on the weekend. They are kind of expensive.

Took less time than expected; end result looks very good. Hard to get in touch. I needed to call Angie's list back after the deal was purchased because I didn't get a response to voice messages or text. The price was about the same as estimates without out an Angie's deal. In other words, it would have cost the same to go with a non-deal as it did with this deal, so I felt I wasn't really getting a discount.The end price was about $900 for one room.

Nelly was very nice and professional. Big deal does not disclose the stain and 3rd coat finish and molding are not included in the 300 sq.ft. refinishing and are charged at a mandatory additional cost. Overall, the service is too expensive.

First, I hope you will extend the 30-day refund for us. It has been a hectic spring, with trying to fix the house up for guests, finishing a graduate degree, and more. Overall, we were disappointed in our experience with Caly Flooring. It seemed that no matter how the service coordinator tried to rework our estimate, the Big Deal of $389 for 300 square feet of hardwood flooring refinishing was four to five times as much as the Big Deal price. He was charming and gracious, but unable to provide a service that resembled the deal that attracted us in the first place. This was our first disappointment with a Big Deal from Angie's list; while the other deals were all-inclusive, this one had so many hidden costs that we experienced the deal as very disappointing if not misleading.

Unfortunately, the project was plagued with responsiveness and communication issues. The gentleman rescheduled three times only to stop responding to my calls after that point. Ultimately, no work was ever done.

The work was completed and priced as promised, which was very reasonable. Diego was a pleasure to work with.

We decided to go with Caly to refinish our old oak floors but before we could follow up and schedule the work a new leak started in our basement. Of course we need to fix this first but as soon as we resolve this - Caly will be the company we call to refinish our hardwood floors.

The original installation date was cancelled as their work van broke down on the way in the morning. It was then cancelled for the following day also, and after not hearing for a few days it was scheduled for the following week. This was not much of an inconvenience since the house is mostly unoccupied. I met the crew on their arrival and things seemed to be under control. I visited the next morning and then after the work was completed, and I am very satisfied with the floors. They are a little lighter in color than I imagined, but they look great. The lack of an A rating is due to the lack of clarity in the Big Deal offer, and the delay in scheduling.

I am requesting a refund because the company wanted to charge hundreds of dollars to REALLY finish the floor. My coupon was for sanding and one finish, apparently that is only half the job, there were two other finishes that they said I needed. Also they said that the color could not be matched to the floors from other rooms that met this area. They need to say in the coupon $49 for sanding and one finish, second and third coats are $200++per square foot. It feels like a bait and switch. Incident Reference #140505-003233

I purchased a deal for refinishing a certain amount of square footage. I knew my space was over that so I was not surprised at the additional cost at the time of signing the contract. The contract was for sanding, staining and then several coats of finish. They completed the work in just 4 days. There was very little dust from the sanding and we were able to walk on the floors (shoeless) each evening. Due to the flow of the house and the amount of furniture they split the work into two moving the furniture from one room to another taking two days on each room. It all was rather seemless and professional, and the guys that did the work were incredibly capable and nice. The floors look great, we are very happy.

They were punctual, polite and professional. Each evening the supervisior called to check on whether we we satisfied with the work or had any problems. They we neat and did an excellent job of cleaning the dust produced by their sanding of the floors. We were very pleased and impressed.

Cost was to high to have them do the work.

Provider called once in December and left a message. I returned the called indicating that I would like the service to be performed in the Spring. I also followed up with an email through Angie's List. During the month of April I have left several emails and followed up with an email through Angie's List. So far no response.
