Description of Work: I was annoyed by the initial upsell attempt, but after I negotiated the rest of the services, we got it scheduled. They showed up on time, worked very hard (even trying to get the pet urine stains out of the oak flooring), and did a great job. I've gotten compliments already and I don't even have everything back in place yet. I would definitely hire them again. |

Description of Work: I purchased the floor refinishing coupon. Man came to take measurements. At time of seeing the floor, he indicated that I'd need to have some boards replaced before they could refinish. Gave me an estimate that far exceeded the price I had paid for the services. I opted not to have the work done.

Description of Work: Service was excellent. They did a beautiful job of refinishing the floor and closets in 3 of my bedrooms. They pulled up carpets and removed all debris. Very professional and very personable. Diego and Jose came about one month before to give me an estimate.

Description of Work: I would absolutely not use this service. It was switch and bait to do much more than I needed and was prepared to pay for. So essentially, I lost my $49.00. I blame Angie's List. Best to keep your integrity and not allow vendors to do unpractical deals like this. They generate business they can't handle and then try to get the customer to spend MUCH more than the original deal stated. Plan to cancel Angie's List after this experience.

Description of Work: Gave a 2,000 dollar estimate for the 400 dollar deal. I was just a few feet over. I do not believe the company is respectful and would never have them preform work for me.

Description of Work: What was listed as a bargain at around $70 turned out to be a cost of $310. In order to properly finish the floor an additional $240 was needed for a third coat of floor material. It took almost two months to start the work. Initially the floor was not prepared correctly. They showed disrespect in handling my equipment and materials. This is a classic case of a come-on.

Description of Work: The company haven't been able to keep a scheduled appointment with me. I have spoken with a gentleman several times but the appointment was cancelled on several occasions. I did not have a problem on two occasions, one he had a flat tire and then again he had a previous appointment. What can I do to get my money returned to my card?

+ -1 moreWhen received my help and thank you message from the company the message said that the deal was for $49 for 100 square feet of hardwood flooring with a minimum 300 square foot purchase. This was not listed in the fine print of the big deal at all.

+ 0 moreI had heard that the company did great work from a friend. I definitely agree. The owner, Jose, was very honest, skilled, responsive, and helpful. As the work progressed, he checked that we were satisfied with each step and was determined to meet or exceed our expectations. The workmanship was excellent. This company showed that they were dedicated to excellent service.
Description of Work: Removed existing carpet and hardwood floors, installed new unfinished hardwood floors throughout ground level, sanded, stained, finished. Also, sanded, stained, and refinished wood railing.

Jose & his employees worked diligently & professionally while at my house. I cut the material short when purchasing the wood so Jose had to send 2 other of his employees back my house to finish my closet space. They were also exceptional. I would absolutely recommend Caly Hardwood Floors, LLC to anyone who is looking for professional work without the hassle or worry.
