David Angel was phenomenal. He was an absolute delight. He was very professional and a very intelligent man. He was very reasonable. He did a phenomenal work. He came three different times. Cleaned out the bees and explained things to us. Came back to check when they were dead and sealed up the area. Gave us advice on other things that he had noticed – various bugs on our property. He is excellent. I would highly recommend him. He never asked for any money until he finished the job. If you get somebody you expect them to do terrific work, but also you want them to be professional and responsible in terms of the way they deal with you and he was all of those. He found cicada wasps and told us about those and told us they were harmless and he took care of that and cleaned that up. He knew all about bugs and he really enjoyed his work. The price was good.

Over the past couple of times it has been cold, I had some bees coming into my house. I thought they might be in the HVAC system. I searched Angie's List and found BeeBeGone and messaged them two days ago. He was able to come to my house this afternoon, and I am very happy with what I've learned. He is very knowledgeable, said that my neighborhood was notorious for yellow jacket and paper wasps and got a dozen calls each year from my neighbors. He looked on my balcony for entrance/exit and found nothing. He looked outside on the side of the house and found where the yellow jackets are getting in at a bent piece of wood that needs to be repaired (job for the condo association). He then told me that my options were to wait until the weather gets to be a consistent temperature of 50 degrees and they'd die of on their own and I'd deal with a few in the house at a time, or he could spray which would force all of them into the house--and that would depend on my tolerance level for that many yellow jacket in the house. He also said the spraying would wash away the first time it rains (there is rain in the forecast next week) and because of the time of year, they're going to die off anyway. I choose to just pay for his inspection ($55) rather than spraying ($195). I'd use him again in a heartbeat.

The owner seems to have taken on more business than he can handle. Calls are not returned -- ever. Three home visits for and annual maintenance contract is unacceptable. Most disappointing however is that the owner just does NOT respond and does NOT proactively communicate about when, how or if he intends to service your house. I would only pay the owner on a per visit basis. He takes the money and never looks back. Very disappointing as the man appears to be a capable and competent exterminator.

Although we were slow in connecting, because of scheduling conflicts, once we did connect, an appointment was made. David responded as scheduled. He was very professional. He removed the nest and gave me information which will be very useful in the future. I was relieved that my nest was small by comparison. I contacted this company because of their eco friendly methods. I intend to use this company again as I frequently have problems with mice, during the cold weather.

Two years ago, another company incorrectly identified a ground nest as belonging to "ground bees", which are less aggressive. They were wrong, and in the end my husband, our one year old and our dog were all stung by wasps. David took care of that nest and two others. Last year, we had ongoing problems and he took care of those. This year we had a bald hornet nest + another wasp nest. He is very thorough (we've never had wasps return to the nests he's treated) and very, very responsive. I don't think I've ever gone more than a few hours without a return call/email. I hope he stays in business for a long, long time.

I contacted David on Thursday by email and scheduled a consultation for the following Saturday. He arrived on time as promised and assessed the problem very quickly. David's knowledge of stinging insects is really impressive. He took a great deal of time with my wife and me explaining the problem and how to prevent it in the future. David administered the insecticide (the hive was beneath our second floor bedroom window) and then told us what to look for regarding the yellow jacket's behavior. The next day, there was no activity at all around the site. We were very happy with David's service and extremely glad to be rid of the problem. We highly recommend Beebe Gone!

Contacted BeBeeGone through Angie's List using the 10% coupon. Was quoted $55 for inspection & $250 (prior to discount) for second story treatment of a German yellow jacket colony. The colony found an entrance between the siding and patio door frame and created a nest in the wall void. Inspection fee was waived if I used David's services. David was professional in service and knowledgeable in determining the type of yellow jackets, the approximate size of the nest (since we couldn't see it), and in answering questions regarding my concerns over having these critters in my wall. David dusted the entrance/exit hole and promised to come back free of charge if we still had any activity after 21 days. He advised that we were lucky to have the nest treated fairly early in the season as by late summer/early fall the colony could swell into the thousands. David came by twice more when he was in the area to check there was no more yellow jacket activity. I didn't need to be home during these times which was very convenient. Very satisfied with the service provided. Extremely happy to no longer have yellow jackets in my wall. Would definitely use BeBeeGone again in the future. Would highly recommend David to anyone in need of pest eradication.

David was great to deal with and seemed very knowledgeable regarding his craft. Time will tell if the pests are gone. The poison takes a while to work. B on price because I don't know what's an A. B on responsiveness because emails aren't as quick as phone calls. Still, it worked and this company is the first one I'd call again.

This is our second experience with David and Bee Be Gone - this spring, he removed an inactive hornet nest in a tree on our front yard. When, all of a sudden, a new one cropped up (albeit in a different tree) and the activity started buzzing in a way that simply could not be ignored, we contacted David and he was out in less than 24 hours. David cut down the nest and sprayed - and it seems the hornets have gotten the message. David left us appropriate precautionary measures, and more importantly, he ridded us of a not-so-phantom menace. David is always super responsive and a true professional. Thanks again!

David was professional and knowledgeable. He explained the process as well as the details of the types of wasp. David was early to our appt. and he even responded quickly after the job when I had a final question.

David was great to interact with and spent a considerable amount of time touring the property offering advice on how to avoid rodents. He treated the basement for silverfish and spiders. He didn't try to up sell treatment to areas that were not infested. He also removed a hornet's nest perched about 25 feet high near the roof. I was pleased with the service. The only gripe that I had was that of responsiveness. I would have appreciated an acknowledgement and confirmation at the time of the appointment request. Since our need to remove the hornets was dire, I was almost ready to call on another service provider, had it not been for your phone call and hour ahead of the actual appointment.

David was prompt, efficient, and extremely knowledgable about both types of wasps we are seeing. He quickly identified the wasps' entry point, and discussed remedies. Our present issue is not serious enough to warrant spraying, but if it gets worse we will contact Bee Be Gone for that service.

David is a total professional and proved extremely knowledgeable about our bee problem and how to deal with it and also offered essential advice about how to minimize recurrence (and save money!) with an impending exterior paint job. He came on short notice and made an estimate promptly. On our walk around the house, he also offered helpful recommendations for handling and preventing other "critter" problems, too, including which areas to treat aggressively and which to retain as "sacrificial" wood so the bees go after the soft targets and leave alone the more important (and hard to replace) pieces. He also pointed out small openings in the foundation and around vents, etc., that should be filled to prevent bugs' or rodents' entering and advised on easy and cheap ways to accomplish that. And he was careful to ask if we had a dog (we don't), to warn that eating the dead bees, while it won't poison them, can make pets vomit. He returned to perform the treatment efficiently and as scheduled with the requested call beforehand to confirm. Again, he provided loads of information and advice in response to questions, so we can get the full, long-term benefit of the insecticide and prevent the next generation's hatching. Then, without being asked, he also filled a couple of the small foundation holes he'd noticed on the prior visit with "Stuff-It" mesh he'd brought with him for the purpose. David said he does not restrict his services to bees (and wasps, etc.), so I would definitely call him for other infestations if we are unlucky enough to have them.

This is the second time he's treated our home and done an amazing job both times. The bees navigated to the side of the house he didn't treat last year and started burrowing into it. While he was here, he also took care of some moths that were building nests on our shutters. And he inspected his work last year to be sure no bees were gaining access. We're now covered for any bee damage in the future on either side of the house. Very responsive and pleasant customer service.

David was great, he was able to quickly assess and solve my carpenter bee problem.. I haven't seen a single carpenter bee in the area since. David also explained how to differentiate between the males and females, what they will be doing, and what to do if I see them again. I can't recommend him enough!

David came out to my house to inspect my situation with carpenter bees drilling holes into my soffits. He really knows his bees. He knew exactly how long I've had the problem and told me what to do--cover or replace the wood AFTER mating season, which I will do. He was professional, courteous and very knowledgeable. He didn't try to sell me services that I didn'tt need and I really appreciate that. If you have an insect problem CALL HIM!

I had some yellow jackets that were forming a nest and he got rid of them for me. He's the owner and he was great. He had a lot of knowledge about the insects so I learned so much from him. He was right on time.

He was knowledgeable. He stated that it would not be a permanent fix. He stated that the if I can find somebody to replace the boards he would come and pick up the boards with the bees eggs in them and transfer them to another area where they can develop and pollinate. He just did an inspection.

They helped us with the problem. We were pleased. He did the removal and educated us on which bees were harmless. He informed us on how to control the problem. He was very prompt.

ENGELS OF BEE BE GONE KNOWLEDGE PERFORMANCE AND WILLINGNESS TO SHARE HIS KNOWLEDGE . HE SPRAYED, PARALYZED HORNETS IN THE HIVE LEAVING ENOUGH OF THE SPRAYED AGENT BEHIND TO DESTROY RETURNING HORNETS. HE ALSO PROVIDE INFO. ON REPRODUCTIVE CYCLE FOR HORNETS AT MY HOME AS WELL AS THE NEIGHBORHOOD SHOULD THE NEST NOT BE REMOVED. THIS CHARMING, KNOWLEDGABLE YOUNG MAN HAD BEEN REFERRED TO ME BY MY DAUGHTER WHOSE FIRST FLOOR LONG HALLWAY WITH RECESSED LIGHTING WAS SWARMING WITH WASPS. MANY OTHER COMPANIED HAD BEEN CONSULTED BY HER WITH NO IMPROVEMENT. THEY EITHER SAID THEY DID NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO OR CHARGED FOR INEFFECTIVE WORK. DAVID DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM AND BASICALLY ELIMINATED THE WASPS WITH ONE TREATMENT. HE RETURNED TO ENSURE HIS WORK WAS EFFECTIVE.

He did an amazing job. He contacted me almost immediately. Informed me of the pros and cons of removing the nest. He showed up the next day to take care of the job, and NO MORE HORNETS!!! Hooray!! It was a huge hive, full of angry hornets. You could not have paid me to remove them!

They did a good job. They were very thorough. They gave great advice. They were cost effective. They were quick to respond to me.

I saw some yellow jackets died by the window in the last a few weeks. There was a hole in the caulking above the window frame. The bees must have come into the house from that hole. Also, the bees were flying in and out of a hole just under a roof shingle above the window. I made an appointment with David. He came on time. He did his assessment, and explained the treatment options and whether it is necessary to remove the nest by cutting the wall open. He said that there is no harm to leave the nest in the wall after killing the colony. Plus if cutting the wall open, it is my responsibility to close it up after two weeks. So I decided to just kill the colony and leave the nest in the wall. he used a spray from the hole inside the house and outside of the house to kill the nest and yellow jackets. He also put dust in front of the bee entrance outside of the house. He caulked the hole inside the house, and leave the hole outside open to let the yellow jacket escape. He said the colony activities will die off in 21 days. . After finishing up, He wrote up detailed instructions on what he used, and when to close up the hole outside the house. His work comes with a guarantee to the end of this year. David was professional, knowledgeable. I would definitely hire him again.
