I found him on Angie's List. He is a great guy. He answered all of the questions I had and made some suggestions for how to keep the wood in our house protected from bees and other things. He was very efficient and just did a great job. He was a pleasure to work with.

The technician quickly identified and treated the problem we were having with mining bees. He was very knowledgeable about bees of all types, their habits and behaviors. He also offered recommendations for keeping insects at bay on parts of our property that we did not realize were potential problem areas. He will return in the coming weeks to apply 2 or 3 additional treatments. If the bees go away, the treatments will have been money well spent.

Dave from Bee Be Gone was very efficient, very knowledgeable, and very professional. He confirmed my suspicions that carpenter bees were residing in my porch. Dave told me that my problem wasn't very severe and treated the porch with poison. He gave me safety precautions regarding the poison and told me that if I painted my porch with more than one layer, I should never see bees again. While waiting for the poison to set, he inspected my entire property, told me what to look out for, and even gave me some general home maintenance advise (my wife and I are first-time homebuyers who bought a "mild fixer-upper"). I was very pleased with the service and would recommend Bee Be Gone to anyone.

I called on a Friday, and the owner David Engel came out on Monday. He was even early for the appointment. He looked at the evidence of a pest problem, and identified it as a carpenter bee issue. He explained the life cycle of the carpenter bee, showed me the evidence of where they had burrowed into the wood trim on the side of my house, and explained different ways to treat the problem. He assured me that there was no danger at the moment, but if left untreated they would make swiss cheese of my wood trim. Due to the shape of my trim, any insecticide he applied would probably be ineffective. He suggested waiting until fall in order to do a full treatment and barrier system. He even recommended I get more than one estimate of how much it would cost to do it. But he also put me on his list for a phone call in September. He charged a nominal amount -- $35 -- for the inspection.

David arrived on time and was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He gave a thorough explanation of everything he was doing as he inspected the house, inside and out. He gave recommendations for future maintenance and prevention. He readily answered any and all questions. He provided written documentation of all treatments and recommendations and a 6 month guarantee. It was a pleasure to work with him and a relief to be free of fireplace bug concerns!

David arrived on June 27, sprayed his chemicals down the hole under a bush by my front door. He put yellow caution tape across my walkway, to prevent anyone from encountering the agitated yellow jackets for a least another day. He was prompt for his appointment, polite, knowledgeable, and provided me with a lot of information on the yellow jackets. Then, just yesterday, July 11, I was having some yard work done, and the workers discovered another underground nest on the other side. I hadn't seen the bees going in and out of that one. Unfortunately, one worker got stung 4 times and the other one once. They wanted to spray the nest themselves, but I told them I was going to call David, as the underground hives are harder to completely treat on your own. When I called David he was about 10 minutes from me and he came right away! Timing is everything! My landscape people were very impressed with his service, and they exchanged business cards. This is David's Co., & he takes pride in it!

Went very well. He was very friendly and informative. Has the bee suit and everything. He demonstrated considerable knowledge about all sorts of insects, not only bees. We will bring him back in the fall to treat for the carpenter bees.

David came out and treated two areas for carpenter bees. Was very helpful and friendly and took care of the problem for me.

I called this company after the pest control company I have a contract with refused to remove the underground nest. David came on time and quickly removed the yellow jacket nest in my yard. He was very polite and great at explaining the type of bees in my yard, the pesticide he was using and instructions on how to care for the trested area. I would highly recommend this company.

THIS IS A GOOD COMPANY TO USE. I HAVE BEEN WITH THIS COMPANY FOR FIFTEEN YEARS, AND THEY ARE GREAT. THEY KEEP THE PESTS AWAY, AND THEY COME BACK ON TIME TO MAKE SURE THERE ARE NO PEST IN THE HOME.

THE EXTERMINATOR DID A VERY THOROUGH JOB LOOKING FOR NESTS. HE FOUND THREE NESTS AND DETERMINED THAT THE WASPS WERE COMING DOWN THE CHIMNEY. THEY PLACED A VENT IN THE CHIMNEY TO STOP THE WASPS. THEY REMOVED THE THREE NESTS FROM THE HOUSE WITHOUT LETTING MORE WASPS LOOSE. THEIR WORK IS GOOD BUT THEY ARRIVED LATE.
