Description of Work: I am deathly allergic to ground bees and could not take a chance that the underground hives would survive after being treated. I got BEEBEGONE from Angie's list. Thank-you, Thank-you for the people who recommended BEEBEGONE. Anyone who is Allergic to bees knows how scary it can be if you have active nests of bees in September.

Description of Work: The owner briefed me on what he would be looking for. He gave a lot of great advice on some things I could do on my own to prevent bugs getting the house. He sprayed for carpenter bees with a non-toxic botanical product. He sprayed vents in ceiling to stop entry of stink bugs into the bathrooms. He also informed me this time of year the stink bugs try to leave the house and in the early fall return to the house. He was very professional and appeared to be very knowledgeable. He didn't try to set up a regular schedule like other companies, but said if there is any problems to call as needed. I will use him again and refer him to others.

Description of Work: Quite simply -- nailed our infestation of Carpenter Bees! It is a two-step process Spring and Fall. David was informed and personable. Damage done by the bees will have to be corrected. He explained what products are best and how to do it. We opted for him to return in the fall for both a second application and the corrective measures for our wood elements to the house.

Description of Work: Dave called mid day and said he was running late. He showed up around 6PM and inspected the exterior. There was not much to report, gave us a quick ant and bee lesson. He spread some ant poison/food and charged me zero. He said his fault for running late and to my amazement there was no charge. I'm not giving him an A for not charging but for the fair, honest report and time spent. Great guy, would highly recommend.

The owner called me and asked me some questions and explained this was a harmless kind of bee. He was great. And he didn't try to sell me services. If I need pest control I would call him again.

Description of Work: David removed a large wasp colony from the wall cavity at the roof line. This required him suiting up and applying the appropriate chemicals while high on a ladder and swarmed by wasps....not a job for the home handyman! Can't praise him enough in every respect. He was responsive, punctual, efficient, a pleasure to meet and he provided all sorts of useful and interesting information and advise plus a promise to return if the wasps didn't vacate the premises. A return visit was unnecessary as he did a thorough job the first time and solved the problem. I'm a gardening n*** and he's a master bee keeper so he answered so many questions. He's an authority! I was particularly impressed that he would have requested us to live with the colony had it been bees so that he could have removed it safely later to provide the live bees to a beekeeper....he's more than simply "The Terminator". Will certainly call him again for any future work and strongly recommend his services. Seeing those wasps swarm I would strongly suggest you don't mess with nests yourself in that kind of location.

Description of Work: I called Bee B gone after seeing increased wasp activity near our roof line. David was able come come out the same day, assess the situation and spray the area. Great service, very professional and took the time to show me places around the exterior of the house that should be sealed up to prevent future issues. I didn't get a response to a message I left at the (301) number, but he picked up immediately on the (703) line so I suggest calling that one first. Would use again!

Description of Work: I called David because a contractor working on my home found a bees nest in my gutter. David answered my call and came to my home later that same day . He examined the gutter found the problem took pictures and explained to me exactly how he would treat it. He told me it was not bees but wasps and then gave me a mini lesson on stinging insects. Description of Work: Upon returning home from a 3-week absence, I found a large bald-faced hornet nest lodged in the upper corner of my garage door. Upon examination, I located several entrances to the nest and deemed that I did not want to remove it myself. I contacted BeeBeGone and David said he would be at my house the next day. It rained that day, so he delayed his visit by one day. When he arrived, he explained the behavior of the hornets and what he would do to safely remove the nest. The job was finished in about 30 minutes, and he had the nest in his truck to transport to his property to allow the young hornets to reach maturity. David carefully explained the procedures for me to follow subsequent to the nest removal to insure my safety as well as the safety of any pets that I may have. David was very pleasant and conducted business in a very professional manner.

Description of Work: We had a nasty case of 10 to15 carpenter beeds drilling nests on our second floor. David quickly identified the problem, eliminated the bees, and spent quite a bit of time with me discussing prevention efforts for next summer. Terrific work; prompt, courteous and professional. Description of Work: I had an infestation of german wasps, He came he identified all locations, and removed them all quickly and with a mond to my home. he preserved the hives he cold and took them out to a wild area for release. He was very informative about prevention and how to identify infestation early. I would use him again..
